I bow down to writers behind Jazzpunk. I just haven’t decided yet whether I should send them flowers to the rehab or to the mental hospital. [05/2014, p.69]
To make someone laugh while playing is no easy task, and Jazzpunk succeeds in doing just that most of the time.
The replay value is low, but it’s a nice distraction while it lasts.

its not the worst indie title, but you may notice that in all of the trailers they religiously avoid showing any actual gameplay and even most avoid showing any of the graphical style actually used in the game. this is a massive red flag: they spent more money filming live action trailers and rendering excessive cgi sequences that are found nowhere in the actual gameplay. if you want to enjoy this game, buy it at a steep discount or just watch a let's play, because it's basically a rug pull.

A good game with a good sense of humor. Nothing less and nothing more than that.

Funny as hell. It's hard to make someone laugh through a screen, but the writers managed it somehow. The comedy is strange but hilarious. The main story is a little short, but the side quests make up for it. I can't look at pigeons the same without thinking about the degausser again, and that's a problem because you can't go five minutes in this city without seeing a pigeon or ten.

It's a rare, but fantastic thing to find a game that feels like the result of a singular artistic vision. To find one that also happens to be a genuinely comic vision is like tripping over a unicorn. Playing Jazzpunk, from developer Necrophone Games, was like tripping over a unicorn who just happened to share my particular appreciations for goofy puns, technological ephemera, and Saul Bass.

This game has to be played to be believed; it's one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. I would describe it as "a relelentless sequence of interactive gags"; but I think this could be better describe as THE MONTY PYTHON OF VIDEOGAMES. Regarding the structure of the game: it is an FPS with simple puzzles, and a lot of side quests, divided in 4 main chapters.

One word can describe this game: Wut? 10/10 for swatting random citizens that turn into flies if you do so. I have to type more stuff otherwise the site wan't allow me to post this. They say minimum 150 characters... I say fu... Oh i think I breached the 150 characters. Cool! Play this game, it's cool. Bye :) !

Jazzpunk is like an interactive trip through a Leslie Nielsen flick, showering the player with witty irreverence at every turn. Any situation will be taken to its most literal or bizarre conclusion, depending on which will serve for the better punchline.

What's here is undoubtedly high quality, but some may find themselves just wanting more of the game. It's a blessing and a curse.

By the time I finished Jazzpunk, I was both left wanting more of its crazy world and feeling slightly underwhelmed. Many of the jokes felt a bit too random for their own good, and the story kind of just ends with no real resolution.

Jazzpunk is an equivalent of an avant-garde show – it doesn’t have a story or even a point to it. It’s nothing more than a collection of rejected ideas.

I love this game. The writing is hilarious and the design is surprisingly well done. Few games are able to nail comedic timing with such perfection. It's a great game to play with friends.

SummaryJazzpunk is a stylized first-person adventure comedy. As the mysterious Agent Polyblank, you’ll explore a variety of retro-futuristic locations, and perform all manner of gadget-driven capers. The tone of the game is cartoon cyberpunk; dense technology-infused locales, dripping with a fresh coat of colour and humour.
