I Am Your Beast

Really good game with a nice story. I S ranked every level and my only real complaint is the short run time and how obtuse some levels can be. Also anytime the game asks you to slide and then do something very quickly right after is BS but honestly this game was close to perfect and was exactly what it advertised and what i wanted from it. The challenge levels though are lowkey way to hard to S rank

I am your beast is a fast paced shooter game, even though there are many more options other than shooting in it, it has a decent story with barely any character, the mc, the villain, and a side character. The story is as I said not it's greatest strength, but the voice acting is top notch and funny, the mc is well written, and the many additional levels the developers gave us give us some insight on how terrifying Harding really is. The gameplay is this game's biggest strength, it is fast, relies on level knowledge and quick reflexes, it is not too punishing and the movement is great. Overall the reason why I am giving this game only a 7 / 7.5 is that the story isn't all that much, and although the gameplay is fun, it does have its flaws, the biggest being that it becomes quite repetitive quickly (and the game is less than 5 hours in length 2 or less counting only the story), so much so that you might lose interest in the game before doing every extra level, but I definetly recommend this game to anybody searching for a enjoyable game that doesn't necessarily need you to think too much.

Really fast paced first person shooter where you were trying to defeat a map full of enemies as quickly as possible and the better you do the higher grade you get. Can already see the replayability of this game and despite the fact that I'm not much of a completionist when it comes to my games I could see this really scratching that itch. Enjoy the various ways that you can take out your enemies from guns to knives to melee to more creative options like explosives. Not as simple as just beating levels to advance you actually have to do bonus objectives and get certain grades on certain maps to advance which adds a little more depth to the game but also frustrates me a bit because like I said I'm not one to grind a level out over and over again to get a better score.Really enjoyed this game until I realized that you absolutely cannot beat the whole thing without getting at least two S-level ranks, didn't end up finishing because of this because even s ranking the first two levels is pretty hard and as I've said earlier in this review I don't like to grind like that it is more frustrating than fun to me. This knocks down the score a lot for me so what probably could have been a 9 out of 10 shooter is going to be a 7.

You know i just hate the games that force you to do something other than progressing through the game.

Creative concept and atmosphere can't save it from clunky mechanics, weak storytelling, and repetitive gameplay.
