This makeover of the 2012 original is worth playing, even for current owners of this essential Vita release. In spite of the somewhat simple gameplay, manipulating gravity is quite liberating.

It’s the game hardly anybody played, remade in such a way as to demand every respectable gamer's attention. Take the plunge. [April 2016, p70]

An excellent crossover between platformer and sandbox game. [March 2016]

The most underrated game i ever seen. Its so sad to see the franchise dying. Incredible Gameplay, incredible characters, incredible history. I love it!

This game has an extremely repetitive mission structure and the combat is one note. You will be using the dive kick over and over again. The characters are shallow. The main character has amnesia. The traversal is fun, but the city has little personality across it's districts.

An utterly superlative remastering effort turns one of PS Vita's crown jewels into one of PS4's most engaging and compelling titles. As fresh today as it was on its original release nearly four years ago, Gravity Rush Remastered is absolutely unmissable.

Gravity Rush is captivating early on and maintains that level of interest throughout. It's addictive, well-paced, fun as hell, and has a nice steampunk world with a great soundtrack. The remaster is good, although straight-forward, and at $30 it's a purchase well worth considering.

While it may not be the most convincing package to get players to return to Hekseville, Gravity Rush Remastered is by far the best way to enjoy Sony’s underappreciated action game. The combat, while still a weak link, feels much better using a controller, and the game’s art style has kept this Vita stunner looking impressive.

One of the best games on PS Vita is perfectly adapted to PS4, with better handling and improved graphics. It has as many flaws on its gameplay side as the original did, but it's still a nice adventure.

A solid remaster of a good game means that Gravity Rush genuinely feels at home on the PS4.

A Remastered release shouldn't be cutting corners, and it seems silly that the game's four major zones are all still so faded, dull, and repetitious.

One of the few games that I can give 10 points to without hesitation. Because she's amazing. Incredible. Her music still gives me goosebumps, the characters are likable, and the plot is interesting. Its graphics may be simple but very nice. Kat's flights are a separate word, flying is very cool and fun, you can spend many hours just doing it. I don't have much to say except that this is an amazing game that everyone should play.

Good game although it does feel a little weird not on a handheld and the games pace was weird but the gravity mechanics alone make up for it

This game is such a mixed bag. Graphically it's ok, not great but not bad. It looks like a port. The storyline is a bit so so and is disjointed in parts. Kat drops into this world, has no idea how she got there and how she got her powers but this is instantly forgotten because she feels an unexplained urge to save the people of the town from the nevi. Again, there is very little explanation as to why they are there and how they are there. Kat also seems very concerned about getting a boyfriend rather than figuring out why and how she can float. The controls are a complete mess. This was always going to be hard given the nature of the game but they are terrible. She randomly flies off surfaces which throws you halfway across the world during a fight or worse during the time trial challenges. The camera cannot keep up with her and the idea that every surface can be a floor. Too many times I have been left with FIFA like anger at how poorly the camera behaves during key moments and how this throws her off course. Motion controls are ****? and these can't be changed. They can be turned down but as I figured out they are never fully off as the camera for the map will always rotate. It's ok, wouldn't recommend it and I don't understand the fuss everyone has about this game and the character. She means well but is portrayed in an overly JRPG way. Why write her to be independent and strong at times if she is going to be sad and hurt that a boy doesn't like her. The game is confused.

SummaryGain a new perspective as Kat, a strong-willed girl trying to protect her future in a world that's crumbling to pieces. With incredible gravity-altering abilities, Kat is the only one who can salvage the floating city of Hekseville – if only she could remember who she is…
