Epic Games hasn't made Fortnite enjoyable for console players. I'm sick and tired of playing Fortnite crossplay mode especially against pc gamers who have hardware advantages and use cheats to win matches in rank mode. Fortnite was better when it was consoles vs consoles not pc vs consoles. Basically, Epic Games forces you to turn on crossplay since you can't play Fortnite normally while turning off crossplay.

I started playing this game at the beginning of Chapter 12I watched a lot of videos, even from foreign YouTubers. At that time, the game had a ton of content that was interesting to watch. Now I don't know what happened to the game, there are strange collaborations, a ton of paid content, and, of course, a return to the roots. For me, the game has slipped back to season 17-18.

as if the pricing of most iterms wasnt egregious enough they also reduced how much vbucks are earned from the battle pass and ingame purchases

Mastering Fortnite Battle Royale’s many systems is worth every second of investment. Whether you go it alone or queue up with a squad, even if you’re the first to die or you actually manage to earn the Victory Royale, Fortnite’s zany style and unique blend of shooting and building almost never offers anything less than an outstanding time. It may not be the first battle royale game, and it certainly won’t be the last, but Fortnite sets itself apart from the crowd by giving you the freedom and tools to express your own personal playstyle.

Fortnite incorporates mechanics of survival, crafting and missions in waves. Everything is very well measured and addictive, but there are no surprises or innovation. The microtransactions come to break the balance, and you'll have to play too many hours to see your character really improve. It's better that you wait for the free-to-play version.

Fortnite feels a lot like Dungeon Keeper. It's a worthy game with interesting gameplay, and where everything is ruined by greedy monetization. The ripoff is less obvious than in EA's game but it's still a pain. We suggest waiting until 2018 when the game will be truly free-to-play.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is a fast-paced arcade alternative to PUBG, but it fails in the tension department. Its good fun when you play like you don’t only have one life, but that in and of itself makes it feel like an oddity that hasn’t quite found its identity yet.

This game is solid in my opinion. Its not SUPER good or terrible but its just a good game. Which is completely fine. This would've gone up to like an 8 or 9 in 2017-2018ish but because of current times, I have to put it at a 7. I get bored of it after a while, but it's still a good game.

Used to be good, now they only have incapable programmers that can't make a consistently working game. Riddled with glitches, unplayable more often than it is. If you like playing to win, find another game. The inconsistencies are unbearable. Concept is good, implementation was good until fall 2025 then went off a cliff. Nearly unplayable.

It gets old really fast, it might be fun for like the first few weeks but then it gets really old. This game became really popular due to all their involvement with established celebs and characters that people like a lot. The game itself is not that great though.
