The definitive version of Cities Skylines on console brings quality-of-life improvements and a fresh coat of paint to the visuals. A worthy upgrade for one of the best sim games on PlayStation.

When I bought this game on Ps4 back in 2017, I noticed that I have been watching heavily modded cities on youtube and the console Edition is basicly a dumbed down version of vanilla CS1. Without any DLCs and CCPs I lost interest after building one city. Now CS2 is around the corner I picked up the remastered version and bought all extra content and I must say I enjoy the game. It is possible to build a beautiful vanilla city. We are playing it on big TV screens, so I don`t know why the devs made the menues so huge with fat fonts compared to the PC menues. The game is crushing every now and then, it is recommended to turn auto save on every 5-10min. There is a map editor, where you can create your own maps. That gives us the possibility to create real copies of several landscapes. Also that we have 25 tiles compared to the 9 on PS4 opens up more area to build bigger. The PC mods are running on the steam workshop, therefor they can`t just be integrated on consoles. Maybe they`rent even compatible. Let`s hope CS2 console edition will be as close as possile to the pc version and Colossal Order finds solution how to do the console justice.

An enjoyable game to play for those who enjoy sandbox games. It has a decent amount of realism within it however increased control over things such as what districts emergency services can cover. Thankfully, it seems that when Cities Skylines 2 gets ported to the Xbox, this feature will be in it as it is on PC. I recommend the game to play if anyone, like myself, is waiting for the Cities Skylines 2 port.

Excellent remaster and possibly the best version of the game I’ve played. No idea why other reviews call it a buggy mess. Couldn’t be further from the truth. If you haven’t played this game before, this is an excellent version to jump into.

Le jeu est complètement buger sans parler du fait qu'il n'y a aucune nouveauté intéressante pour différencier celui-là a l'ancien de plus sans parler du fait que le remastered coute 40€ si tu n'as pas payé l'ancienne édition en digital. Honteux !
