There's nothing here to make this anything other than an entirely missable Halloween-themed distraction. [Christmas 2013, p.111]

T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest is a very simple expansion that offers a cosmetic sidestep from the usual. The short adventure in Hallowed Hollow is dressed up nicely with Halloween details and a few different looking enemies. Aside from that, it doesn’t do anything new and you’ll have finished it in an hour or so.

What's here is decent, there just isn't much of it.

For the first Headhunter add-on for Borderlands 2, it's just what I expected. A neat-looking new location, 2 short missions and a boss whose head you can unlock for your character. And... that's pretty much it. There is also a hidden boss who doesn't drop anything spectacular (a bit disappointing given all the things you have to do to get him to spawn). No new achievements, either. But since it's only $3, you get what you pay for. Only die-hard Borderlands 2 fans should bother with this. Everyone else should save their $3 for something else.

Very meh, but you get what you pay for. It's about two hours worth of content and a very derivative boss fight with the Pumpkin King (well, I had a Gunzerker). Overall, very underwhelming DLC, and you're better off playing Costume Quest to satisfy your Halloween cravings.

Although is brings back memories of Zombie Island in the original Borderlands it still doesn't make up for an inadequate raid boss to fight. The candies I have found at times can be overpowered and the lack of heads and skins does not do this headhunter DLC any justice. I did however enjoy the few easter eggs involved in the story mission. All I hope for is a difficulty increase for the next headhunter DLC coming out during Thanksgiving. Sort of good job 2K!

Bloody Harvest won't split your sides with laughter or impress you with novel enemy types and cleverly themed missions, which makes it feel like a slightly watered-down version of Borderlands 2. However, it will provide you with a Halloween-flavored morsel of the same tried-and-true gameplay.

If you want a short return to Pandora and don’t mind a bit of irritation while you’re there, this is the DLC for you. Everyone else should be wary that this is cheap in more ways than one.

SummaryIn TK Baha’s Bloody Harvest, you’ll be tasked by the eponymous zombified corpse to discover the pieces of a key that will lead you into the heart of the Pumpkin Kingpin’s pumpkin patch (try saying that 3 times), where you will confront the Kingpin himself in an epic battle to claim his giant pumpkin head as your own.
