До сих пор игра кривая и косая то там, то здесь. Специалисты с абилками сомнительные, освещение тоже, но самое отстойное - это, конечно, мапдизайн. Почти все карты здесь - отстой, независимо от режима. И дело не в том, что они большие, а в том, как они организованы, где укрытия стоят и так далее. Выбора карт нет. Ну в целом именно с эстетической точки зрения многие локации выглядят красиво, саундтрек добавляет атмосферы, но играется это плохо. Была бы игра бесплатной, ей можно было бы влепить оценку и побольше, но игра платная (я ключ рублей за 800 взял, дешевле не нашёл. Зря, конечно, но я всерьез думал что игра не так плоха, как ее малюют). И в нее почти никто сейчас не играет, так что брать не советую. Ну и конечно почти любой другой батлфилд будет на голову лучше.

Chaos Perfected Battlefield 2042 is pure, explosive warfare turned up to maximum insanity. Massive maps, ridiculous dynamic weather, hovercraft flying up **** game never gives you a quiet moment. It’s a spectacle of chaos, and when the bullets start flying and the tornado rolls in, it feels electric.Gunplay is tight, vehicles are monstrous fun, and the scale is unmatched. Portal is the secret MVP, letting you mash classic Battlefield eras together like a FPS playground built by a mad genius. It’s loud. It’s messy. It’s absolutely Battlefield.

The game had a rough start, but by the end it really did become a fun game and they actually allowed you to unlock everything in portal.

Now coming from BF6 it was actually alright, the wide open maps had it moments. Especially the later ones.

Battlefield 2042 in 2025 is, from what I understand, a nearly completely different game than it was at launch. That said, all I really have to go off is playing it since the start of this year, and honestly, I’ve had a blast. BF2042 hits exactly what I’m looking for in a PvP team-based shooter. I’ve never been a fan of vehicles, and I feel like this Battlefield has some really great maps that don’t rely on them, or at least not to the same extent as other entries. It’s a good blend of up-close CoD-style combat with some larger areas mixed in. I’m really looking forward to what BF6 is going to offer, but I can say I more often enjoyed my time in 2042 than I loathed it. But god, some of these maps, man…

Battlefield 2042 was released in a terrible way, but the gameplay and graphics are amazing so far. Even though DICE released it in a terrible way, it's really good now.

An sich ein guter Multiplayer shooter, aber kein gutes Battlefield. Das Gameplay ist gut, aber der Rest ist eher naja bis schlecht. Die Maps sind zu groß und leer. Das balancing der Waffen und Fahrzeuge ist auch eher mäßig gelungen.

Battlefield 2042 es un juego muy bueno, aunque entiendo por qué su lanzamiento fue tan criticado. En ese momento, el enfoque principal era el multijugador online, y era inaceptable que llegara con tantos problemas: bugs, caídas de servidores, fallos de conexión, entre otros. Para una saga tan reconocida como Battlefield, era impensable presentarse así, especialmente con fuerte competencia como Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite o Apex Legends. Sin embargo, a pesar de ese mal inicio, sigo sosteniendo que es un excelente juego dentro de su género. Hoy en día, ofrece una experiencia completa y sin igual, una gran variedad de vehículos, armas altamente personalizables, y clases pulidas con más habilidades y funcionalidades que en entregas anteriores. Es, en muchos sentidos, el Battlefield más completo que existe. Entiendo la molestia de muchos jugadores (especialmente fans de la saga) por la ausencia de un modo historia, sobre todo considerando su precio elevado. En una época donde otros juegos multijugador eran gratuitos, esta decisión le restó puntos al lanzamiento. Es una pena que el juego siga recibiendo tanto odio, incluso de personas que nunca lo han jugado. Siento que fue víctima de review bombing, criticado por su estreno caótico, pero ignorado en su evolución. Hoy, si te gustaron títulos como BF4, BF3, Bad Company o incluso los clásicos BF1 y BF5 (que además puedes revivir dentro del juego), Battlefield 2042 vale la pena. [3,8/10] Battlefield 2042 can be described as a failed experiment. Portal Mode as well as Hazard Zone were supposed to be two strong pillars of this game. However, both crumbled within the first year. The community abandoned the former, and the developers canceled the latter. The Hero shooter feature caught so much criticism (well deserved) that it got reverted to the class system of the previous games. What is 2042 even at this point? What's left is the classic multiplayer. Smooth gun play and movement are a solid foundation for casual FPS fun. Graphically speaking, the game is pretty good. However, 2042 severely disappointed in the map department. Desolate places without purpose lead to stale games and unbalanced stomps. Playing Rush on pre-patch Kaleidoscope as an attacker was like swimming up a waterfall. I won't miss a single map. A shooter without good maps to play on is about as depressing as it gets. Years after release, the game doesn't resemble anything it was originally intended to be. It felt good dropping this one.

Очень динамичный шутер от первого лица. В предыдущие части не играл, и как первая игра в серии Battlefield — впечатления очень хорошие. Экшена хватает в каждом матче, особенно весело играть с друзьями. Большое разнообразие техники, огромное количество оружия (хотя большинство всё равно выбирает мету) и интересные классы оперативников. В игру я пришёл спустя два года после релиза, и сейчас она полностью доработана. То, за что её хейтили на старте, уже пофиксили: появились классы, добавили разнообразие в прокачку оружия. Особенно понравилась концепция смены обвесов прямо в бою — это даёт возможность адаптировать пушку под конкретную ситуацию. Порадовало, что донат никак не влияет на баланс — нет пресловутого Pay-to-win. Донат чисто косметический. Оптимизация достаточно хорошая, графика сочная и приятная глазу. На этом плюсы заканчиваются. В игру в основном играют заядлые геймеры, и ощущается явный дисбаланс: от оружия с обвесами до техники. Система прокачки неплохая, но новичкам со слабыми пушками приходится играть против перекачанных соперников из-за отсутствия нормального матчмейкинга. В каждом матче находятся игроки, которые знают каждый куст и камень, сидят в позициях с «однокнопочным» геймплеем — всё это убивает желание строить какую-либо тактику. Проблем в игре хватает, но в целом она не такая уж плохая. Считаю, что текущая пользовательская оценка не совсем объективна.

Another game that wasn't finished at release and allows itself to make game packs for 80 euros to be able to play 7 days in advance, and to give us an extremely dubious gaming experience and bordering on commercial fraud. The game at the beginning was without script and without sbmm. After 2 months of play. The sbmm and the script made the game for low level players a child's play. You die in 2 bullets for high level players at high sbmm. You have to empty a full magazine to kill a low level. Really theft. We are being robbed of our money and our gaming experience at the same time. The games currently are unplayable for players who invest themselves and have a high level of FPS game. Currently, all players of all games are treated like cash cows, with more updates for the store than in the game itself, meaning there are more skins than maps and weapons in the game, and it's a shame for the consumer.

EA forces you to turn on SECURE BOOT. it does not allow you to use two OS. it forces you to reinstall the Windows, go into the BIOS, break your PC to play BF2042. terrible. the worst update in history!!!! disable secure boot setting!!!!!!!

One of the worst fps game i ever played, trash maps, useless character skills, weapon recoil ****, helicopters are overly op, nothing has any balance, it will be remembered as the worst fps even after 100 years... No one knows how they got from Battlefield 1 to here.

Una de las peores porquerias que he jugado en mi vida, no solo fue un fracaso total para EA y sus estudios dedicados al universo battlefield, también fue un fracaso total para sus desarrolladores en el ámbito profesional si es que se le puede llamar así a tan patético trabajo realizado en esta horrible desgracia a la que le quisieron e intentaron llamar inovacion, no solo EA nos enseñó el patético estado en el que se encuentran todos sus estudios, también nos demostró cómo se le acabaron las ideas y la nave va en picada, solo queda reciclar lo que le funcionó y vivir de eso, la saga llegó a su límite y se quedara así estancada, fue superada por Call of Duty después de todo.

Useful EA Pay to win monetized rubbish, most weapons feel like paintball guns, best weapons can be unlocked by paying for them Graphics and sound are pretty good, but that is to be expected. The fact that its now free on game pass and only around £10 says it all really Having said that its better than COD BO6. Not by a lot though. Stop hyping these games as tactical shooters at best they are arcade shooters. Given the power of PC's and consoles now no excuse for rubbish hit reg or bland weapons. Jus wait til in one round you are killed after getting into cover for the umpteenth time. 45ms tick rate does nothing, its no surprise that this lost money. Avoid unless getting it free or for £2.

So I've been playing battlefield games since 1942 and Desert Combat on dial up, throughout the years I've dabbled with ll the battlefields and frankly 2042 is probably in my top 3 battlefield games. Bought at launch this game was a bit of a mess, map design and quirky hero characters were probably the biggest crimes committed but over the last year or so it's proven to be excellent game and has recently become my most played game on steam at 500 hours play time. Vehicle combat is excellent, easy enough but greet balanced at this stage, infantry is a blast and all the gadgets really open upalot of play styles. It's not the most squad focused game but the flexibility on spawning in to your team or transport vehicles does aid encourage this a bit, and I have to say having 128 or 64 player maps really extends the replay value. All in all 2042 is a solid somewhat arcadey BF experience, great to play with friends in a squad, it might not have the destruction of Bad Company 2, or perhaps the simulation and squad mechanics of BF3, but I'd put this as a close 3rd place over all. BFV and BF1 never really clicked for me, overall, I'm surprised 2042 does not get more credit based on where it is today. I'm hopeful for the next BF game

By far the best Battlefield game so far. I’ve played all of them, and this one is the definitive battlefield game. Mixes in the classic large scale conquest, and phenomenal CQC. 100/10. Please Dice, don’t ever change from this style of play. All the haters are COD fanboys.

o jogo ultimamente ta legal de se jogar, porém é um fato q a ea demorou mt pra trazer atualizações que esse jogo merecia, além das classes, que em minha opinião, essa ideia de personagens q tem habilidades estragou um pouco a essencia do bf , porém se baixarem agora em 2025, verá q o jogo n está como antes, e por esse motivo mudei a nota 4 para nota 5

I can say that the game is mediocre. 1) The game is poorly optimized (I will not give more details, you can see for yourself in the playtest or in other reviews) 2) The balance of weapons is very strange, it reminds me of Call of Duty Vanguard, there the game has thousands of weapon models but only about 4 or 5 are top played. This is also the case in BF2042) 3) The game has good graphics, but that's the problem with it, we worked a lot on the graphics but not on the engine of weapons and things that really matter more than the graphics. In CS 1.6 Graphics leaves something to be desired but at least no one complains about the physics of weapons or minimalist maps. Unfortunately, there are many games in the making or already published that have great graphics, but do not work on what matters most. That's why people stay on SA: MP, CS 1.6, ETS 2 / ATS, etc. Honestly, even if the recoil at PUBG is a little too big, I would play PUBG better than BF2042. There I know that if I make a Win I am proud, in BF if I win a match I put one point less in the review. You no longer understand what the game is like after reviews.

The engine is great, vehicles are fun, guns are kind of boring but they are similar to everything else on the market. Over all the only thing I don't like is the operators and the scale and map design isn't as good as prior BF games.

its ok. its very fun early on but the problem is that it doesnt have enough content. all the weapons feel the same and reload animations are a direct downgrade from 5. the wingsuit is absolutely amazing though. you can literally fly on command.

Слишком много игроков в режимах - 64 или 128. из-за этого сложно ощутить индивидуальный вклад. Геймплей этой игры - бессмысленный рандомный хаос, где тактика не имеет никакого значения. Как же я скучаю по бф3, там можно было выбрать сервак с 24 и 32 игроками на карте: и на каком-то определенном участке карты играть примерно отрядом на отряд, или на вертолете/танке/зенитке/снайпером дуэлиться с кем-то. А если вдруг не получается, или кажется нецелесообразным, то меняешь технику, или другой точке больше уделяешь внимания и.т.д... и импакт от твоих действий хорошо ощущается. в 2042 же тупо рандомная бессмысленная беготня

despite of having nice graphics and gameplay mechanics, is this iteration of bf an absolute **** attempt. the maps are way too open and too large, the gameplay is more cod oriented. they might overcome all the stupid technical problems at large, but if you produce such nonsense like this, it wont get better. if you like grenade spamming, smoke constantly everywhere, no cover and running around like an idiot... gz this is for you!!!

pros: decent graphics; decent variety of weapons and upgrades; cons: poor variety of maps and modes, extremely grind oriented, each weapon needs to be leveled up by playing 10-15 bots games each 20 minutes long; paywall for some weapons and vehicles, to unlock all weapons must buy the ultimate edition; PvP comes down to 2-3 choke points per map and which team has better leveled engineers and medics to hold them; the other classes are ignorable; PvP is more like tower defense game not FPS action; random disconnects; no offline or single player campaign; not recommended

I give it a six as the game is in 2024. it's better than at launch but not as good as BF4 and BF1. I still don't like the cringe "no-pats" and i hate some of the stupid gadgets(shield and scatter-grenade) as they ruin the balance on my favourite mode: Close quarters conquest. It's still a good experience, could be a seven but the netcoding had me die behind cover so many times that i got used to it.

Inserimento degli operatori che stravolgono la serie e tolgono le ormai collaudate dinamiche care ai fan della serie ovvero le classi. Come fai a togliermi le classi che sono la colonna portare del gioco? Spero che con il prossimo capitolo tornino ai fasti del 3 e del 4

It needs more content and better physics. There is a lack of helicopters, jets, vehicle, tanks variety. There are literally only 2-3 types of each, in 2024 I expect there to be at least 20 types of each like an F-22 raptor, C5 Galaxy (also be able to control the guns as a passenger), modernized Chinooks etc. In 2024 you should be able to destroy 100 percent of the environment, drop a nuke etc., just do something new. This also needed to be better optimized in PC, it should already have frame generation by now but it doesn't. I don't really care about the class and tactical sprinting, in fact I'm glad they added these things. Also, this game crashes and causes the PC to not turn on after around 10 mins.

I am not really into multiplayer a lot so I can't say anything for multiplayer. But the Portal was a great move, along with the feature that to have some other Battlefield into in. The only downside is that they didn't bring all previous battlefield into Portal. Imagine, BF2042 Portal - Running BF1 Grand Operations mode - With 2142 theme or Battlefield Vietnam theme. Heck if they had done that, I would had pre-ordered for it alone. A shame

Absolute trash.. Trying to make a **** battlefield apex legends game, with woke characters with stupid with stupid catch phrases. I preorded this **** game.. never again.. played it for 2 weeks. i wonder what the developers were smoking when they made this? they must not have played any single battlefield game.. went from masterpiece battlefield 3 to this garbage

Most awful battlefield ive ever played. This was the last time i will pre order a battlefield..

Almost the worst Battlefield game in DICE's history. Not as bad as BF1 though, which apart from being pretty had absolutely nothing going for it. This one is also visually attractive, and at least doesn't have the biggest blunder of the franchise - the behemoths - so I'm rating it higher. It's not nearly close to being good though... Let's start with the maps. They might as well be just plain grass fields with a destructible container placed every few hundred feet, because that's how ridiculous the maps are in this game. They're not thought out at all. Objectives are separated by massive planes of nothingness, through which you have to run through, being completely exposed to enemy fire from helos, tanks, snipers, and other roaches. The maps also lack character and personality, they're quite forgettable, and even after countless tweaks, they remain just "meh". But the main issue about the maps that they are extremely player unfriendly, and map designers at DICE hate gamers, especially infantry. The distances between any two points in BF2042 are so vast, that even in vehicles it takes forever to travel between them. Let's get onto the gunplay. There are several categories of guns in the game, of which every gun in a category feels pretty much the same to others. What little modification you can do to your weapon of choices matters so little, that in fact you might not modify the weapon at all, because why bother? The guns don't have much horizontal recoil, and there are no recoil patterns to learn, so there's no element of skill involved in gunplay. But it gets even worse, because they made DMRs and shotguns so utterly, completely unreliable, that it makes my head spin. The DMRs (marksman rifle category) are so inaccurate, that they take you to the point of being constantly frustrated. You can be 5 metres away from the target, with your crosshair dead on them, and several good shots won't even register as hits, that's how bad it is. I've seen people survive 5 good shots landing on them, because of bad shot registration. I've seen people eat 3 shotgun shells to the face, and then turn around and finish off the shooter like it's nothing. Utterly ridiculous. The netcode is quite bad, too. Several times a day I die SECONDS after diving behind cover. And no, I'm not lagging, I have a rock solid connection via wire, tested multiple times. Other players might be lagging, though, but why am I being punished for someone else's technical issues? Let me quickly go through some other issues still present in the game: headglitching is still alive and well - you're being shot through an impenetrable object, while you can see only 1-2 pixels of your opponent's head, or you can't see them at all; terrible, absolutely the worst spawn system in any game ever - BF will notoriously spawn you with your back turned against enemies just itching to fire, so you'll die repeatedly through no faults of your own. Sometimes you'll span IN THE MIDDLE OF A BURNING INCENDIARY GRENADE, that's how stupid and incompetent DICE are. There's everpresent grenade spam, and DICE does absolutely nothing to address that. Incendiaries and smoke grenades linger for ages, completely killing momentum and just introducing plain boredom. The verticality of the game is utterly ridiculous and completely removed any tactical aspect from the gameplay. Flying vehicles are nowadays completely untouchable and as an infantry player you can do **** all about them, so it's clear DICE hate infantry players and think of them as cannon fodder. Sound design is nothing special, music is bland and forgettable, any story is just completely shredded to bits and laughable. It's just a terrible game. Terrible, terrible game, made by dumb, lazy, incompetent people who completely lack understanding of what the franchise used to stand for. DICE peaked with BF3, and it's been in steady decline since then. Graphics don't make up for lack of understanding and appreciation to your work, and it clearly shows here.

A disaster at launch, getting rid of classes in favor of turning the game into a monetizable hero-shooter of some kind. Wasting time on an extraction mode, a tornado, doubling the player count... The development and launch version of this game were horrible. Too many things were wrong. Special mentions to the ultra fast player controlled missile that makes the AA missile obsolete. Also to having the same icons for different vehicles and the same warning sound when you are being tracked in a vehicle (marked with a missile launcher, incoming sundance grenades...). Difficult to decide if flares are needed. The devs managed to refloat it over time, adding classes back, more and better/reworked maps, new tools, forgetting about the extraction mode... At its current state, it is a solid game, but it all comes too late. I had fun and played it for lots of hours with friends and was able to relive some of those long-sought battlefield moments of the past. I enjoyed the vehicles and some of the new maps, specially the infantry based map in a snowy research complex (Redacted). Overall, it's a shame that it launched in such a state and I hope the next one doesn't make the same mistakes
