I never enjoyed playing Anno before but this game really made the difference. It's smooth, great UI and really gets expansion done right. Multiplayer is fun too.

I enjoy playing it, the gameplay and weapons is great. However with the few maps available, I'm getting annoyed by rooms leading to nowhere, high buildings where only the first three floors are accessible and the lack of fortification like in BF5. It feels less Battlefield but still enjoyable. Escalation is a amazing game mode which combines the best of Breakthrough and Capture.

I was intrigued in the beginning, a Factorio with characters roaming around and interacting with. Sadly it's disappointing with factory building and character interaction both feeling shallow. While the characters are drawn in a "cute" style, the interaction possibilities are really not existing, besides gifting items and seeing hearts go up, there is nothing more to it.

Age of Empires 4 really made me realize how a modern RTS game has to be. The graphics and the fine tuned systems makes it a blast to play. Setting a new standard for me and makes older classics harder to enjoy, therefore it's currently the best RTS out there.

It's one of the games I put insane amount of hours in. Difficulties which seemed to be impossible became possible by trial and error. Every mistakes gets punished which makes a hard fought victory feel the most rewarding. Rarely any other game gives me the satisfactory feeling of hard earned accomplishments.

This Addon for me just proved that without the amazing Night City Center, the game has not much to offer . Movement is clunky, while the main game had a shallow stereotypical "Rebel against the System" story. This DLC just went into the opposite "James Bond saving the President and the World " story. The added city district feels just like a junkyard with some nice indoor locations sprinkled in it. It's an average game with great graphics.

It's one of my favorite games in recent years. Building huge factories, troubleshooting, decorating, and optimizing them is deeply satisfying. However, 1.0 is a bit of a disappointment; the added story feels cheap as it just doubled down on the already high amount of sarcasm . To summarize, there is "Ada," a super-intelligent AI who makes sarcastic jokes, such as you exploiting the planet or how Ficsit doesn't care about the safety of pioneers. This could have been written by any generic large language model. At the same time, she has philosophy lessons with an alien being, which is most of the time just pseudo-smart gibberish. Feels like it tries so hard to put perceived real life issues in a game where this has no outcome in a joking way only to insult the gamer spent time and intelligence. TL;DR: I'd rather not have a story than a bad one. The rest of the game is truly amazing.

My initial foray into "Baldur's Gate 3" was marred by a sprinkling of frustrations, particularly the limitations imposed on low-level characters who could only cast a single spell each round, and the occasional lost battle that cost me precious time. Furthermore, the companions I met early on in my adventure felt a bit quirky, with some unfortunately not growing on me as I had hoped. However, as I delved deeper, the game began to unfold its true richness and depth. Many companions not only grew on me but also managed to pleasantly surprise me with their development. Similarly, the expansive world caught me off guard with its unforeseen surprises and a wealth of opportunities waiting to be discovered. The real turning point was when I stepped into the vibrant and bustling city of Baldur's Gate. It was here that the game blossomed into a remarkable experience of joy and wonder. The city, brimming with life and details, presented a delightful playground for exploration and adventures. What stood out were the phenomenal graphics that painted every scene with breathtaking realism and depth, enhancing the immersive experience manifold. I was enamoured by the plethora of content available right at release, making it a rich and fulfilling journey that promises replayability. I cannot thank the creators enough for presenting a game so vast and detailed, a title that transcends initial hiccups to offer an experience that is thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. It is a journey that I am eager to undertake again, exploring new paths and making different choices.

Starfield

I embarked on my journey in "Starfield," eagerly anticipating a revolutionary sandbox RPG, a worthy successor to the likes of Skyrim. Yet, standing in the shadow of contemporaries like Baldur's Gate 3, the experience has felt considerably linear and lacking depth. My 15 hours of gameplay has been a mixed bag. Though I deliberately veered off the main quest to immerse myself in the game's world, the excitement waned rather quickly. A considerable number of quests felt more like chores, burdened by repetitive NPC interactions and monotonous mine clearances populated by the same enemy types. The character customization, touted to offer profound choices, left a lot to be desired. I was particularly disheartened with the "Dream House" option - a promising feature that culminated in a bland and uninspiring dwelling with repetitive layouts and a glaring lack of attention to detail, quite contrary to the cozy, unique havens I cherished in Skyrim. However, a game can redeem itself through compelling world-building, a feature I had set my hopes on, especially with the much-hyped City Neon. Unfortunately, it fell short, offering a rather superficial experience that failed to match the visual grandeur claimed by many. Despite running the game on a high-end setup, the visuals were not up to par. Moreover, the cities felt empty, devoid of the vibrant nightlife and bustling corners that usually bring a virtual metropolis to life. A lack of diverse amenities in New Atlantis, such as clubs or engaging recreational spots, added to the feeling of a shallow, underdeveloped world. I am willing to give "Starfield" another chance, in hopes that exploring new aspects like building outposts can reignite the initial excitement. As it stands, however, the game has not lived up to my expectations, which, considering the advancements in RPGs over the years, I believe were justified.

Bugs aren't the main issue here; it's the main storyline that falls short. I'm a huge fan of Blade Runner, and I can't deny the joy I feel when I'm driving around Night City, taking on contract kills with my handgun or katana. These moments give me strong Blade Runner vibes and are a highlight of the game. But here's where the conflict arises - the game isn't sandbox enough to let you carve out your own story. Many buildings in the city remain inaccessible, which I understand from a workload perspective, but it still feels like a facade. The main story, in my opinion, isn't great and feels quite tedious, falling short of the benchmark set by Witcher 3. Despite this, I've spent about 50 hours enjoying most of what the game offers. It's rare to find a game that can hold my attention for this long, but I can't shake the feeling that it could have been the best game of all time. However, almost a year after its release, the developers haven't fully delivered on their promises. Whenever I think of Cyberpunk 2077, I'm left with a sense of disappointment, a lingering aftertaste of what could have been, and a sense of betrayal by the marketing.

I love good stories which widens your perception about AI and robots. I follow lot's of discussions about it too. There are many great movies and also games which tackle it very good. But Detroit tackles it so blunt it hurts. I played till the end because I loved Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain but after the credits came I felt it was not worth my time and money. I liked the dialog tree and graphics but damn the story really was stupid imo.

I spent thousand of hours in BF3, BF4 was great but I didnt enjoyed as much. BF1 was a no-go for me and still feels like a low quality shooter. BF5 had a very rough start but damn the animation and gameplay kept me playing it. I also met people like in BF3 I felt like a deeper connection with my squad than in the previous BF games maybe the feeling that someone is risking his in-game life and giving his time to you while resurrecting you. Apparently you need some time to get into to game, when I showed it to some friends which are used to other shooters, they kept dying and therefore didn't enjoyed it that much. But pls don't let the negative reviews influence your interest. If you have interest give it a try, for me it's an amazing game which I play frequently.

While writing my 10/10 review on They are billions a brilliant RTS I remembered what I was playing before, Frostpunk. Both are considered challenging but I felt way more frustrated loosing in a frostpunk round even tho it lost way much more games in they are billions. Something about this game which let me enjoy it but also frustrate it. So yea its okay but I would not like to play it again.

I never felt that challenged in a game in the last years. Some people don't like the no save option, but there is, how much I tried to abrupt close the game because of a stupid mistake I made, It always jumps back to the latest point reminding me that I have to deal with my mistake even when its meant having hours of planning wasted. I really adore this and kept me pushing myself and perfecting my strategy. Love it!

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

I really wanted to adore "Shadowlands," but I find myself struggling to reach level 60 due to the sheer boredom that seeps in. Although the zones are visually striking, they somewhat lack soul. It feels as if the developers took concept art and stuck to it religiously, without allowing room for deviations or nuances. The landscapes and pathways seem disproportionately vast, causing the journey from point A to B to feel like an endless venture. Moreover, the monotony of the scenery is exacerbated by the persistent use of the same color palette within each zone. You have the white heavenly hues, the murky greens, mystical dark blues, and gothic reds, and if you're familiar with the game, you can easily pinpoint which zones I'm referring to. I find it disheartening that the class design hasn't undergone substantial changes, making the gameplay feel stagnant. I can't help but chastise myself for placing faith in the Blizzard developers time and again, expecting a fresh and engaging experience. Moreover, I would like to clarify that my grievances aren't directed towards the often criticized management of Activision Blizzard, but rather at the developers who have made a series of questionable decisions regarding WoW. It seems like in many companies, there is a reluctance to critique the developers openly, for fear of sparking conflict or seeing them depart. However, I believe it's time someone told them outright that their quest design is growing outdated and frankly, boring. It's high time for a rejuvenated approach that revitalizes the player's experience.

I deeply love the game, I went to gamescom to wait in a 3 hour long line just to see 30mins of gameplay, bought the collectors edition and one on GoG and one for my PS4. It was my favorite game of all time but now that 5 year passed I remember many bad things too like long loading bars, bad movement control and got bored by some story parts while replaying. So yea while it's one of my favorite I think I played it to often to see the flaws more than the good parts. I remember other games in a better light so I will go to a 8/10 instead of a 10/10
