While not having as much depth as Three Houses, Engage was still a super fun Fire Emblem title. The story was simple but sweet, and I loved nearly every character. The gameplay was enjoyable, especially with the Engage mechanic, and I found myself grinding battles just for fun even after finishing the game. I also think the DLC is very worth it for the new characters it adds.
If a Final Fantasy rhythm game is what you want, that's what this game is. I've been playing the Theatrhythm games since the first one came out and always greatly enjoyed it. I didn't think they would make another one after Curtain Call, so the announcement of Final Bar Line was a delight. I love rhythm games and the Final Fantasy series has so much fantastic music that I love to see represented in these games.
This game is super fun and I think a really good successor to MGS1. Raiden is a really fun character and the existential themes of the story are super intriguing. I enjoy the gameplay despite not being a big fan of shooters, and the aesthetics are absolutely gorgeous even with PS2 graphics.
I had a really fun time with this one! It was my first Paper Mario game, and I think it did a good job representing its series. The plot is super cute and generally lighthearted, but with just enough suspense to keep it interesting. I also thought the gameplay was very fun.
I have played through this game nine times; it is the most played game in my entire library. I have to hold myself back from playing it again because it's so addicting. I love the characters and relationships; every playthrough I find new dynamics to get excited about. I love the commentary and branching narratives, and Blue Lions never fails to make me cry. The tactical gameplay is fun and satisfying. I think it's a very good game overall.
This is one of my top favorite games. The characters are super fun, the art style is delightful, the dialogue is hilarious, and the platforming is super fun. The narrative also makes me really emotional. The PC version does have some issues with lag and a few glitches, but that didn't take away from my overall experience. I highly recommend Psychonauts to anyone looking for a fun time.
