In a Valley of Violence9

I disagree with those that say it is cliche.
It is low-key style-wise, simple, and same for the acting, but it works and I didn't guess the ending.
Kind of a nice little romance built in and I liked the female lead -- sweet and kind of plain, but in an attractive way. Ethan Hawke has grown on me in recent years, he was kind of over the top and annoying in his youth, but not now; this Western role fits him pretty well, a reluctant hero. So few Westerns these days (at least without Aliens!) -- grading on the curve this is an 8 or 9.

Very underrated. Loved the chemistry between the main actors, this movie was a little unsettling for sure, since it seemed like a romance between an adult and a child, but it was loaded with real ****, what a surprise!

D.O.A. Sterile, lifeless, dull, drab, uninspiring, anti-climatic, confused, uncharismatic, overrated, unappealing, frustrating, tired, sleep-inducing, unimaginative, cheezy.

Here goes...I found it funny and pretty spot on. I'm married into a family where many of the older aunts and uncles pretty much fit the stereotypes...I know that is not P.C., but so what? This is a comedy. Plenty of movies out there that make WASPs look ridiculous.

How many people will be killed on the highways because of the release of yet another movie of this type? When the late, not great, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel series of films came out years back there was clearly a pickup in wannabes doing 100 mph multiple lane changes, etc. all over the country, particularly here in CA. We saw it every time we drove on the Freeways here. It had died down gradually in recent **** no doubt it will be back with a vengeance now that another movie is out there to overstimulate a fresh batch of video game numbed miscreants. Oh, well, thousands of innocents will die but, hey, that's not the producers problem, right? (Unless he or his loved ones drives on the freeways!).

Are you kidding me? What, they ran out of comic book super-heroes to make blockbusters out of so Hollywood is resorting to Bible characters? And even a bible-based movie has to have talking sci-fi monsters to sell tickets to the masses these days? I predict in 20 years people then will be laughing at just how cheezy movies today were - like people laugh today at Godzilla movies from the 60s. Besides that, it basically was horrible in most every other way. Bad acting, fight scene after fight scene, boring CGI scenery. God help us!
