7.6 Art style needs to grow on you, some of the minigames all flat. But as an overall package its a great 20$ game. Lack of online coop. Hurts it

Game has potential but lack of content really hurts it. Hopefully it can pull a sea of thieves and be a great game in a year or two. The game feels like an early access game

If you already own the game and it runs on your computer fine there aint no reason to get this. Its just a nice spitshine of paint and new music. I actually kind of miss the pixel art. Game plays same as you remember it. So ill give it the same review score I did to the first one.

I was a fan of the first one. So I may be biased but MAn does this game improve upon every gripe I had with the first one. ITs a great beat um up/ platformer. That Many ARE SURE TO LOVE.

Game is super fun. Minus the small changes to the game that made it a bit more difficult the game is perfect for some nostalgia fun. Great for crash fans and fans of playstation 1 and 2 era games

Before the Definitive Version of this game. The game felt like a Early Access version **** made in the Gamecube/ PlayStation 2 era of games. Now that the definitive edition is out (and free to all old recore owners). It fixes a lot of the issues that were present in Recore and makes the game feel like an old school game. It reminds me of Megaman legends a little bit.

Significantly improves on the issues that were wrong with the original. The game before definitive edition felt like an early access gamecube / playstaion 2 game. Now that the definitive edition is out. It feels and plays like a game from that era without the early access feel. Good for people who liked games like Megaman legends.

Not the best port. But a great Free port. I may be a little biased since I loved this game as a kid on the original xbox. But it stays true to the game and the game is a classic. Glad its a play anywhere option. Could use voip support or some of the dlc skills for the game... but the later is coming in a patch.

A fresh can of paint was all this classic really needed. New frame rate... camera still a bit wonky but its still the great xbox game you remember. If you like platformers this game is for you.

Campaign is short but with the skulls and mission objectives on higher difficulties makes it have lots of replay ability. I started playing on XBOX but switched to my PC since I wanted to try the Cross-buy feature. Game runs and controls better on pc. like you would think it would. the game itself is pretty solid. The multiplayer great. However dropping splitscreen for a game FOCUSED on CO-OP in its campaign is beyond ridiculous. that and the mediocre story and short campaign really hurt the game in my honest opinion. If the story could have kept up with the quality of other halo media like hunt the truth or some of the books. and if this game had splitscreen and had some of the things like emblems not in microtransactions (armor and weapon skins and the like im fine ok with i guess though i rather hate microtransactions). This game could have easily scored way higher in my book. I would have given the game a 7.5 but we cant do fractions here on Metacritic

Well I can say that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts was a little bit of a disappointment to me since i was longing for a platformer type game. However since I researched and still bought it when it came out day one. I knew what it was going to be like... So I reviewed it for what it was... a mash up between a spin off game (aka mario kart ODST etc) and the continuation of where BT left off... The overall feel of the game was really refreshing it was kinda like playing BK mixed with Diddy kong Racing, and Legos. Which all in all was a real blast to me. While it might not appease some of the die hard bk fans that were hoping for a platformer... it still is a very good game

Had this game for a while and all I can say is I cant believe this has such a low review score. I mean sure the game is a tad short but it is set to be a trilogy so i understand why it would have a cliffhanger. I mean look at all the lord of the ring movies... all ended with cliffhangers before the final one. There are minor problems with the game like controls that are hard to learn without a tutorial (there isnt one in the game) and the in game death sequence should be skipable. However the game makes up for most of these with fun addicting gameplay, much replayablity, and online. Since the game only has its fan base still playing online you might have trouble finding a game however when you do get online with someone its a great play team work is key and you have alot of fun. Rune quests make up for alot of replayablity and once you complete the quest and have the rune equipped it gives you stat boots. The game has much depth in it even though it doesnt appear to be much at all besides a dungeon crawler with loot. Which by the way the game combines **** and dungeon crawling perfectly. Oh have i mentioned the story for this game is awesome! I mean cyberpunk on norse myth (VIKINGS!!!) i wont go to deep into it to not reveal spoilers xp. Also this game is like in the top 10 best selling 360 action rpg games soo it shouldnt have such alow review score. I seriously reccommend to give it a shot i mean 10-20 dollars new at gamestop and like 20 on live market place.
