Raw2
Jul 16, 2021
disgusting; absolutely, utterly disgusting.
The problems of Raw are not just its unnecessary scenes and overly complicated moments with no service to the main story. The problem is not even how stupid this film is. It's just the fact that Raw (Grave) thinks of itself as the most important film ever made and I'm sure that most of the people who says "wow, I can't describe it but the film is so artistic and bold" don't know what the hell it's all about. At some minutes, It's as **** up and boring as "don't be vegetarian so you don't become a freaking cannibal". Yeah, I know how stupid and **** that sounds and the film is 100% even more childish than that. Although as I said, It really tries to look like the most serious film ever made. Even at its best moments, Raw is about how dangerous an idea can be (acting like a virus in a clean mind environment) but misses the opportunity to expand on that.
Long story short, don't watch it and don't care about the people who want to tell how deep it is. They did not understand that much from it as well:) God, I hate being the hater of a movie. But sometimes, It's really a necessity.

A Quiet Place Part II4
Jul 2, 2021
An absolutely unnecessary sequel that doesn't do anything special to really justify its existence. Cillian Murphy is cool, though.

The Little Things2
Feb 4, 2021
Such a waste of money and time. How can a film get three phenomenal actors and be almost unwatchable and boring as hell this much? John Lee Hancock could tell The Story in one page of a script, and the relationships between the characters are so dull and unbearable.
The only good thing about this film is Jared Leto. If Leto's acting was not good (even though the writing is so bad for his character and every other character), I couldn't watch this until the end.
Warner's HBO Max/Cinemas Films so far: WW84 and tlt. WOW:)

Promising Young Woman10

I never laughed while crying inside and never come close to crying while laughing out loud at watching a Film. Never before watching
Emerald Fennell's Masterpiece, Promising Young Woman (2020). I mean it.
This is the film that Cinema needs. Absolutely memorable, entertaining as **** deep, believable... God, I'm out of words.
Carey Hannah Mulligan is MESMERIZING. The best actress of the year and if you're asking me, The best actor of the year as well.
Please find Martin Scorsese. Show him this film and say: Don't worry man, This is Cinema.

Never Rarely Sometimes Always8

Profound, Meaningful, Fantastic, and Important! A Tale of beautiful and believable friendship that shows its strength through the most challenging times. Never Rarely Sometimes Always shows the light at the end of the tunnel by letting us pass the darkest tunnel. Is it perfect? No. Is it essential? Damn straight.

A Consuming Film. Not just time-consuming. But soul-consuming and energy-consuming. In the wrong way.
Shia LaBeouf and Vanessa Kirby were great but No. This is not a fantastic film, and It has some severe problems, especially in storytelling.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom10

This movie touches your heart and has some of the most incredible actings of the year. Chadwick Boseman is the best actor of 2020 without hesitation and makes you laugh and makes you cry. What a beautiful, thoughtfully, poetic adaption. What a Film.

Putting your character in so much pain and then judging every single one of his actions? WOW!
Acting and Sound Mixing are fantastic, though.

Ammonite2
Dec 6, 2020
Tried to be Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Failed even to become Ammonite.
The great chemistry makes the best seconds of this film between Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan. But those seconds are lost in a bad script that doesn't know how to make a believable relationship.

Tenet10
Sep 3, 2020
Tenet is Christopher Nolan's Magnum Opus. On the technical side, few films in history have anything like the action of this film. Every Scene is Magic, and you will think, "How making this is even possible?". And that "No Green Screen" rule is paying off. Because of that, you can believe the most unbelievable things are happening on the screen. Tenet never looks like animation or something full of CGI effects. And when you watch it, You will probably accept that fact is so important.
Suppose someone mutes this film and watches it. It's perfection. If someone shot the picture off and only listen to the sound of this film, It's Perfection. So When they get combined, Tenet has become an experience like no other.
Ludwig Göransson's Awesome Score has been synced with every scene and is adding to all of them. I love Hans Zimmer, but right now, I don't think even that great man was capable of doing this. The reason is this music feels different from anything I've ever heard in any Christopher Nolan Film.
I've watched Tenet twice (So far); the First time, I loved it, and the second time, I loved it. The script does a great job of presenting everything to you in the best possible way. And at the same time, Tenet has fewer exhibition scenes than Interstellar or Inception. So every time you watch it, you will be focused on more things. But It's understandable and self-explaining. The reason that a lot of people will more like The Story for the second time is the fact that THE FILM IS UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL. It has some shots, which made me speechless and gave me pure joy. As much as I couldn't focus my mind on the story and wanted to be just thinking about the Perfect Picture, I'm watching.
This film will stand the test of time. I don't want to spoil anything, So I can't talk about how much I love some of the characters and how the actors have got chosen with no miss fire. But even if you read the full screenplay of Tenet, Watching it is ten times better than just knowing the whole story. Tenet is THE Cinema, at it's very very best.
