It was as good as it could be. By that I mean, the entire movie is exactly what the preview shows. There are no real surprises, I predicted the ending as well. It was just a more violent, way simplified version of Hunger Games. Not the most realistic for reasons I won't go into as far as human abilities.

This had potential, but the kid being an absolute little demon and disrespectful to his dad is terrible. He interrupts his dad, which is actually interrupting the movie every 5 minutes. If they would have just did the story with SIGNIFICANTLY less breaks it would have been fine.

This movie surprised me. I have never loved a Superman movie; I wasn't a fan growing up either. This move was good though. It had heart. It was a good movie that actually made you care about Superman. I was also worried about the directors' political motives (and there is political part), but it didn't detract from the movie in a negative way. I'm glad I watched this movie and would highly recommend for all ages.

Watched this with my 10- and 7-year-old, they both enjoyed it. The 7-year-old was a little scared at times, but nothing terrible. It was overall good, with a good message. It didn't quite pull at the heart strings like it could have, but solid movie to watch with the kids.

If you liked the original, then you will like this one. The music, the graphics, it was done so well and true to the original. It definitely had some tense moments. There were some things that didn't make sense, and it wasn't perfect, but still a good movie and definitely worth the watch.

It reminded me of "A Quiet Place" meets "The Last of Us". Overall good movie that had potential to be much better. They needed to spend a little more time and money, and this could have been really cool. It was better than "Sinners" that I watched the same day though.

Way overhyped. It was a vampire move that seemed like it was made for a certain group of people.

If it wasn't for the nostalgia my rating would be lower. Even those moments were fleeting. It just was a pretty boring movie overall. Adam Sandler should hang his hat up after this one.

Meh. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. Pattison did a great job, and it was pretty cool visually, but that's about it. A little quirky like "Life Aquatic" at times, which I appreciated. At other times the writing was just cringe, especially the overdone "leader" who was an obvious poke at Trump by the director. The pacing seemed off, in a way that seemed like they just skipped a bunch of stuff but the movie was still too long in the end.

I was very excited to see this movie, and very disappointed after watching it. It was so dull, nothing overly exciting happens, I did not care about a single character. The only positive is that I liked the art/graphics of the film, but nothing else. I can't say I'm glad I spend 2 hours watching this.
