Marlon: Season 14
Aug 16, 2017
I'd be careful to call this thing comedy. Insulting, is what it is. To see Marlon in Marlon carry on as if he were performing in In Living Color from a prior century is, well, an insult. I don't recall if he was in fact in Living Color. But his huge outsize thing would have been suitable there but quite a misplacement here. And why does he get away with the stupid-ass stuff he says about Blacks?

Maya & Marty: Season 15
Jun 2, 2016
The word I'm looking for is... bland... dry, drab and perhaps even dreary. Which is terribly disappointing because for me, Maya Rudolph on Saturday Night Live was the comedic goddess! If you want to know the truth, she and Marty don't have a lick of chemistry.

Review: Season 19
Aug 7, 2015
This show is so weird and funny and it consistently has me laughing out loud. Hilarious is the word I'm going for. I didn't catch season one and to date I've only watched the first two episodes of season two. Rip roaring laughter! Da bomb!

Mr. Robinson: Season 11
Aug 6, 2015
Mr. Robinson is just pretty goddamn awful and I'm completely embarrassed for both NBC and Craig Robinson. The jokes, if you can call them that, are predictable and just plain flat. I predict a cancellation in Mr. Robinson's near future.

Zoo: Season 16
Aug 4, 2015
The series started out with what seemed like so much hope and promise and I'd thought I'd be hooked. But after watching now episode 5 I'm like what's happening? Or, more precisely, what's not happening?

Another Period: Season 18
Jun 29, 2015
I find "Another Period" downright hysterical. I've only watched the first episode so far and I couldn't stop laughing. The show appears to be a spoof of the likes of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and "Downton Abbey." No doubt, irreverent. Surprise and delight to see Christina Hendricks (most famously from "Mad Men") in a comedic role. Plus Thomas Lennon and the divine Artemis Pebdani who I first saw on "Scandal."

Odd Mom Out: Season 110
Jun 9, 2015
I was shocked and surprised to hear Bravo was doing a scripted TV program but I was even further shocked and delightedly surprised to watch the first 2 episodes of "Odd Mom Out" to find it a hoot! Terrific!

Aquarius: Season 17
Jun 9, 2015
I couldn't seem to get into it at first, but the more I watched the first and then the second episodes, the more it grew on me. A good show overall, I think, and I'll stick with it at least through the 1st season.

American Crime: Season 110
Mar 24, 2015
This series is real dope... The best of the season so far and I've seen all of them. It's real badass dealing with crime, murder, race and inter-racial coupling, immigration, teenagers... Real dope.

The Exes: Season 14
Nov 13, 2014
I am several episodes deep into the fourth season and I am sorry, but this TV Land program is basically and mostly asinine. The jokes, if you can call them jokes, fall mainly flat and, o what a waste of talent for Mr. Wayne Knight who I ADORED in Seinfeld

The McCarthys: Season 110
Nov 7, 2014
I've only watched the first episode but I have to say right on! This one knocks it clear out of the park. It's well written and funny and witty and both Ritter and Metcalf are terrific. And so Boston! Love it! This show will stick.

Marry Me: Season 11
Oct 21, 2014
I honestly have no idea what all the hoopla is about. The show is sooooo NOT funny, I can't begin to tell you how the jokes fall flat. The show comes off real corny too in what seems to me as obvious attempts exploiting current political correctness. The 2 gay dads just seem thrown in and only "just because." On top of which they have to be interracial too, and seems so " just because." Now, I'm a gay black dude who's dated blacks and whites and browns and also in betweens. I have nothing against gay dads or dudes or inter-racialism, and I have nothing against the lesbians either. (Yes, there is a lesbian character thrown in "just because.") But I do have something against what seems to me as pandering. Obvious pandering. Just because gay marriage and rights are in the news, they've thrown in 2 gay dads. To make it seem more edgy, seemingly, the dads are interracial. I'm pleased to see more gays today on tv and in film. But the gay thing isn't a fad. And even if I could **** up to the pandering, I could not get a laugh. The show is just not funny.

Cristela: Season 110
Oct 10, 2014
I just saw the first episode and I have to tell you I was in stitches. Hysterical! Laugh out loud funny! Besides, it's so refreshing to witness the very first latina created and written and starring in sitcom in prime time. About time.

A to Z: Season 14
Oct 2, 2014
I don't know what all the hoopla's about. But I found this show V-E-R-Y slow. It was like watching grass grow. The best thing about it was the narrator's voice. Katey Sagal's. But I s'pose I can give the show another try since everyone's raving about it.

Bad Judge: Season 11
Oct 2, 2014
To be frank, Bad Judge is just terrible. Less comedy and more stupido. Remember how terrible Bad Teacher on CBS was last spring? Bad Judge on NBC is even worse. Poor Kate Walsh. This show will be canceled.
