Kane & Lynch Dead Men is a decent story-driven 3rd person shooter. The gameplay isn't particularly unique, and the cover system is very clunky. But except for a few certain levels, functions relatively decently. There are a multitude of interesting levels like the bank heist and the **** **** game uses squad commands for you to command your allies around the levels, though the AI is beyond stupid for both your allies and enemies. But the game's biggest problem is the insane level of recoil on the **** makes some gunfights horribly frustrating. The graphics are average, but the game does run well and has no notable performance issues on the 360 The story and characters are the game's strong **** idea of pairing a flawed mercenary up with a medicated psychopath leads to pure comedy gold as you can **** actual plot starts strong, but fizzles a bit towards the end, though the game has 2 endings. The sound design and soundtrack are decent. Overall,Kane & Lynch Dead Men gets a lot of unfair hate and is a decent game in my opinion,it is very cheap as of when I write this review so I recommend giving it a try.
Fight Night Champion is a solid sequel to Round 4, which was already solid in it's own right. The gameplay feels quite similar to Round 4, but the brutality of the sport's biggest wars is very well replicated in this game. Movement is improved, and the controls feel far more fluid and responsive than before. So while the gameplay isn't really that different to Round 4, it maintains a solid foundation and improves on it. Unfortunately, Legacy Mode sees no major changes. Graphically, the game looks great on the 360, and runs very well. Fighters' likenesses are very close to real life, and the arenas look great. Champion Mode (the story) was where this game really put all it's eggs in the basket, but is ultimately very mediocre. I like how it covers corruption in sports, but the majority of fights are heavily scripted (i.e. one punch from a fighter will knock you out from rounds 1-3, but do nothing in round 4, or the game decides what round you can finish the fight in etc. So it ultimately isn't very enjoyable, but it's short at 2 hours, so it doesn't outstay it's welcome. The soundtrack is decent, but the sound design is great overall, due to the great sounds of punches. Overall, Fight Night Champion is a very enjoyable game that is worth playing.
Syndicate is a solid FPS. The gunplay is great and the weapons do pack a huge amount of **** inclusion of weapons such as the gauss gun that fires homing bullets,a chaingun,a laser gun,and a flamethrower are highlights. You also have 4 abilities from your dart chip which are bullet time, suicide, which forces an enemy to pull a grenade on himself. The splash damage from the grenade can take out more enemies too. Backfire, which explodes enemy weapons, leaving them unarmed for an easy kill, and Persuade, which turns an enemy into a temporary ally who will kill himself if all enemies are killed in the time where he is an ally. The AI is competent though the boss fights ****. The game also feels very cheap towards the end. The graphics are decent, but the framerate takes a hit at times with a minor detriment to gameplay. The sound design is great, and the soundtrack suits the game perfectly. Syndicate is a good game,so if you want a short campaign to play on a rainy afternoon, this game could keep you entertained.
Dead To Rights Retribution is a great 3rd person action game Gameplay is broken into 3 types of sections:shooting, brawling, and stealth.Shooting sections are your fairly simple cover-shooting mechanics but the gunplay is somewhat satisfying, even if there are only about 6 weapons in the **** favourite part of the game is the **** combat system is surprisingly **** have low and high punches, guard breaks, clinching, disarms and a bunch of brutal **** sheer brutality of the combat system suits the atmosphere **** stealth sections let you play as a dog named Shadow. These will nearly always consist of getting a keycard for Jack to go through a **** AI in these sections is quite poor, making them quite easy. The graphics are ugly, but the framerate remains solid throughout. The story here is very much filled with b-movie cheese, not the worst I've ever seen though. The sound design is solid, but the soundtrack is mediocre. Overall,Dead To Rights Retribution shows that graphics don't mean everything.Great game, highly recommended.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is a solid action game. The gameplay is satisfying, with a great combat system and the unique Blade Mode allowing to cut off enemies' limbs or cut them into pieces. This is vital for some incredible boss fights, particularly the final one. There is a major flaw though, the mapping of block to the attack button and flicking the left stick in the direction of the **** the launch version, which I am playing as my 360 has no internet connection, this can be abused to the point were only a bull charge move from a boss can inflict damage, which ruins some of the game. However I have heard this is patched if you have an internet connection,so keep that in mind.I also must add that this game is very difficult without using that **** be warned the game only takes about 4-5 hours to complete. The graphics are impressive, and the framerate only drops occasionally. The sound design is average, but the heavy metal soundtrack suits the game perfectly, with beats timing perfectly to the on-screen action and it just pumps you up! Overall,Metal Gear Rising is a solid hack and slash held back from greatness by it's short length and a major exploit.
Enslaved Odyssey To The West is an average action-adventure game. The gameplay is mediocre, with poor combat and a handful of bugs forcing me to restart at a checkpoint many times while playing the **** platforming controls do work very well **** main issue with the game is the fact that the entire game feels like an escort **** your partner dies,it's game over and she can't fight in combat to save her life, making the game feel very tedious. The graphics are incredible, but the framerate does run into issues frequently. The story is great, right up until an absolutely insulting sequel-bait game ending. The sound design and soundtrack are both average. Overall,Enslaved Odyssey To The West is a merely average game that is extremely overrated.
Anarchy Reigns is a solid 3rd person brawler. The gameplay is great, with a deep and satisfying combat system, dynamic events such as bombings of the area you are fighting in to keep you on your toes, and the ability to throw barrels and vehicles at opponents.Multiplayer was the focus of this game, but if you don't have Xbox Live, don't worry as you can fight bots, which is **** single-player story took me about 7 hours to complete. The graphics aren't great but get the job done, and the framerate has an occasional drop but nothing of a major detriment. The story is pretty bad,but the characters come up with some seriously funny lines to make up for it. The sound design is decent, but the soundtrack is absolutely killer. Overall,Anarchy Reigns is a solid game that is well worth picking up.
Prototype 2 is a decent game, but can't reach the standards of the original Gameplay is pretty much the same, with no major changes. However, the flaw with this game is that it's far too easy.I only died 4 times throughout the entire game, two of which were on the final boss. That brings me to the bosses, which are nowhere near as exciting as the first game's bosses. Graphics have improved majorly from the first game, but the framerate drops occasionally. The main character of this game,James Heller, isn't very good, cracking out **** your mom jokes, compared to the complete badassery of Alex from the first game. The soundtrack and sound design are passable. Overall,Prototype 2 doesn't quite reach the quality of the first game,it's still fun and I recommend picking it up for cheap.
Rogue Warrior is a disgrace to the gaming industry. The gameplay is straight up broken, with awful AI,probably the worst I've ever seen in a game, even on the hardest difficulty, the ability to use kill move animations in the middle of combat and not take damage,a broken health system and straight-up abysmal shooting mechanics. The graphics look like a PS2 launch game and are very dark making it hard to **** framerate drops consistently **** game also has a tendency to just freeze for no apparent reason and is filled with game-breaking bugs. The sound design and soundtrack are phenomenally bad. Overall,Rogue Warrior is one of the worst games I have ever played in my life.Avoid at all costs.
Binary Domain is an average third-person shooter. The game has a good cover mechanic and solid squad command **** level design is good for the most part, but the inclusion of consistent time-based sections annoy the f*** out of me as a player, and they don't even tell you the time **** boss fights are awful too. The graphics are solid, and the framerate remains at the same level throughout. The story here starts solid but falls apart quickly The sound design is average, but the soundtrack is terrible. Overall,Binary Domain could have been a great game, but is held back to mediocrity by some major flaws.
Prototype is a great open-world superhero game. The gameplay is phenomenal, with an excellent movement system, brutal combat, the ability to consume people to take their memories, disguise and abilities make the game a blast to mess around **** ability to grab someone up to the top of the highest building in the game and throw them across the map or beat their ass all the way back down. Then there are the devastator attacks that kill everyone in a certain radius, which is just pure **** bosses are pretty well designed **** gameplay's only real failing is the half-baked stealth and disguise mechanic that could have used a lot of fine-tuning. The graphics are pretty poor, but the framerate does not run into any issues, even with mass chaos going on. The sound design is decent, but the soundtrack is terrible. Overall,Prototype is **** makes you feel like a complete badass at all **** you haven't played this game, yours truly says BUY IT NOW!
Need For Speed 2015 is a disgrace to the Need For Speed name. The gameplay is just straight up horrible, with terrible physics,a counter-steer system which makes drifting near impossible, and considering that drifting makes up a significant portion of the game, this makes the game a chore to play, then you have the awful rubberband AI along with having to be always online to play the game. Then we come to the decent but extremely overrated customisation system, which is nice but with the awful gameplay it doesn't mean anything. The graphics are great, but the framerate needs some serious work, like most of the game. Then you have the cringeworthy, downright pathetic and the ''actors'' who perform these scenes are awful. The sound design is good, but the soundtrack is awful. Overall,Need For Speed 2015 is an awful game that has made an embarrassment of this franchise.
Wolfenstein is a unique spin on the iconic FPS franchise that is enjoyable in my opinion. The game uses a new form of powers known as the Veil, allowing you to slow down time, see through walls etc. There are also enemies that have the same powers as you, making the game feel more like a survival-horror game at times, which is a nice change of pace as are the anti-gravity **** gunplay is solid but could have used **** AI isn't very good **** weapon selection is great, and the upgrade system is good too. However, the boss fights and later levels are designed terribly. The graphics are solid, and the framerate is fine too,but the game suffers from long load times on the 360. The sound design and soundtrack are quite poor though. Overall,Wolfenstein 2009 is a good FPS with some innovative ideas, but lacks the full polish to be considered truly great.
Backbreaker is a decent non-NFL licensed game that outclasses Madden in some places, but falls short in many others. The gameplay is **** physics engine is amazing, and for a game that released in 2010,considering that Madden didn't get a similar engine until Madden 13,is even more **** analog-stick based controls are great for running but poor for passing. The game lacks NFL teams but has a such an in-depth team creator you can create them all **** game also lacks modes with only custom season and Road To Backbreaker, which is just a 3 tier campaign that isn't really exciting at all. The game's graphics are solid, and the framerate is solid too. The sound design and soundtrack are weak however. Overall,Backbreaker is a decent game.
Spec Ops The Line is a great 3rd person shooter The gameplay isn't particularly original but works well for what it is.However, the AI goes through spells of either pure stupidity or dead-eye accuracy, nowhere particularly in between which is very frustrating. That said,it's not the gameplay that shines. The story steals the show here, showing all the horrors of war,and a dark, corrupt side to itself, the game allows you to be either hero or villain, and the game has 4 endings for different **** sum it up,this game is very **** voice-acting is top notch The graphics here are solid and look **** game does not have any significant performance problems apart from long load times on the 360. The sound design is decent, but the soundtrack is great. Overall,Spec Ops The Line is a grim take on war that is very good.Solid mechanics across the board makes this an easy recommendation.Definitely check this one out.
Forza Horizon 3 overtakes it's phenomenal predecessor for best game of the PS4/Xbox One generation so far. The gameplay is more of the same, but with some significant changes to the offroad handling and single player campaign **** car list is also twice the size of Horizon 2,with plenty of Australian themed cars, such as Utes, added to the mix along with the GTA Spano and the Lykan Hypersport of particular **** single-player makes you the boss of Horizon, allowing you to choose car types and courses for one-off races or championships. This feature,Horizon Blueprint, also allows you to create Bucket List side challenges. There are also 3 times the amount of perks than there was in Horizon 2. Other additions include the return of the Auction House for the first time in any Forza since the original Horizon from 2012,a 4-player co-op campaign, and limited Horizon Edition cars that give bonuses such as increased skill chain points for certain skills,or even double credits in each event that the car is **** last big addition is wide-body kits, which make their first ever appearance in the Forza franchise. The graphics are just unbelievable with not just the car models and interiors, but the astonishing lighting of the Australian landscape stealing the **** course the framerate is solid, like any Forza game. The sound design is just unbelievable, but the soundtrack, while solid,is a huge drop-off from the previous two games. Overall,Forza Horizon 3 is an absolute must-play,do I really need to say more than go out and get it immediately?
SEGA Rally Revo is a very solid arcade rally game. The vehicle handling is very fun, just as any good arcade racer should **** vehicle selection is good, and there are plenty of championships to keep you busy throughout the **** game is also pretty challenging, the AI will certainly make sure that you aren't running away with the **** complaint is a lack of environments. The graphics are beautiful, with tiny details like deforming terrain looking superb on the 360,The framerate is smooth as butter. The sound design and soundtrack are the only things that particularly lack in SEGA Rally Revo, they are both pretty bad to be honest. Overall,SEGA Rally Revo is a great arcade racer.Highly recommended by yours truly.
I seriously don't understand why people like Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway. The gameplay is extremely generic and does not do anything **** AI is ridiculously accurate to the point of being downright cheap and the level design is downright terrible.Another issue is the **** ally **** game also has 10 minute unskippable cutscenes followed by loading screens, which removes the immersion this game tries so hard to achieve. The graphics and framerate are solid. The sound design is decent but the soundtrack is awful. Overall,Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway is an absolutely awful WWII FPS,there are far better games set in this time period,FPS and other ****'t go anywhere near this.
Wet is a good game but many flaws prevent it from being great. Wet has a stylish and totally awesome combat system with a very cool acrobatic based **** time you shoot after running off a wall, jumping in the air or off of something,or by sliding and shooting while on the **** is an awesome system,as your character has 2 pistols, the game automatically locks on to one, while you find the other. However, there are platforming sections where the controls are stiff and just terrible, leading to a lot of deaths. Also,in a skydiving sequence later in the game, camera controls become an issue for that one part, making that bit a lot harder than it should be. The graphics look decent, but with an awesome grindhouse inspired **** game's framerate has an occasional drop but never at a severe detriment to the gameplay. The story here is decent.I won't spoil it in case you want to play the game. The sound design is decent, but the game has a great soundtrack. Overall,Wet is a game that, while entertaining, could have been so much ****'s still a pretty good game that I recommend giving a try
Turning Point Fall Of Liberty is a dreadful FPS that wastes an interesting premise. Turning Point's first issue is the the horrible shooting **** guns have absolutely no punch to them.Another big issue here is the unforgivably **** AI.They are horribly inaccurate and have absolutely no tactical organisation and the game follows all sorts of generic FPS cliches. The graphics are terrible but the game's framerate remains stable **** game has load times just like developer Spark Unlimited's other game Legendary that last about 2 minutes after you die. The story here has potential,I won't spoil in case you want to play this piece of **** for some reason. The sound design and soundtrack are awful too. Overall,Turning Point Fall Of Liberty has to be one of the worst games for the 360.Avoid this at all costs.
the original Skate is a decent game. The physics in this one aren't quite to the level of the 3rd game but better than the 2nd **** whole security chasing you thing can be pretty annoying, particularly if you are trying to do an **** controls scheme is excellent however, with the FlickIt control system. These can cause problems though,as in challenges where you have to copy a trick,it's lack of precision can result in you failing the challenge. The graphics are medicore, though the framerate remains solid throughout the whole game. The sound design is mediore, but the soundtrack is good. Overall, the original Skate ranks inbetween 2 and 3 for quality for **** has the better physics and single-player design, but gets crushed by Skate 3 in almost every ****'s still worth playing however.
Homefront The Revolution is a game that gets a lot of unfair hate. The game is a direct sequel to the original, just with a different group of resistance fighters. This is an open-world FPS set in Philadelphia, while the original was **** shooting feels better in this one,and there is a fun crafting system allowing you to build molotovs and **** can also recruit AI teammates, which helps even if the AI is **** game also has 4-player co-op online The graphics are decent, but the framerate needs serious work. The sound design and soundtrack are mediocre. Overall,Homefront The Revolution is a game I can recommend for €20 or **** is unfairly criticised which is a shame because while it isn't mind-blowing,it's still a relatively fun game.
Warhammer 40K Space Marine is a very solid action game. The gameplay ranges between ranged and melee combat, with an occasional turret section thrown in for good **** melee combat is very satisfying, you can execute enemies in gruesome ways by hitting Y to stun and B to perform the execution **** gunplay is decent enough, considering melee combat makes up around 70% of the **** game does throw a lot at you in an unfair way at times, and it has a lot of defend door sequences, which is really **** game lasts around 12 hours, but can get monotonous at times. The graphics are solid, and the game runs very well on the 360. The story isn't too bad here and is well voice acted, even the enemies are well voice acted, which is nice. The soundtrack here is mediocre. Overall,Warhammer 40K Space Marine is a very underrated game that I would highly recommend if you have a 360.
Metro 2033 is a very good survival-horror FPS that is criminally underrated. 2033's gameplay is very solid, with great shooting mechanics and intelligent AI,this is a very hard game,so if you don't like a challenge you won't enjoy **** game also forces you to use a gas mask when on the surface or you will die,and you will have to scavenge around these huge levels, which adds to the immersion, but it does lead to a lot of backtracking admittedly. The graphics are beautiful, and the game runs really well on 360. The story here is brilliantly written, and I'm certainly not spoiling **** voice-acting here is very convincing. The sound design for the guns is excellent, but the soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired. Overall,Metro 2033 is a complete gem for the 360 and you need to check it out, highly recommended.
Dishonored is an absolutely phenomenal stealth/action game The first thing I love is the amount of ways you can approach the **** can be very stealthy or murder everyone, and your actions will determine the ending,so there is an incentive to play the game through twice. The gameplay is excellent, with great mechanics across the board for both action and stealth. There are a vast amount of powers to choose from, with Blink,a short range teleport, being the best of the **** AI is very smart, and the levels are designed brilliantly too. The graphics are pretty good, though the game does run into framerate issues, particularly if you blink to someone and kill them and their friend in quick succession. The story is well-written,with multiple endings as I said.I won't be spoiling either ending here. The sound design is very good, particularly the voice acting, and the soundtrack isn't half bad. Overall,Dishonored is an absolutely amazing game, and if you haven't played it,go out and get it!
Test Drive Unlimited 2 is a terrible game, and embarassing in comparison to the original TDU 2's gameplay is **** cars handle terribly, the physics and collision detection are off,and it's a shame because the game has so many cool ideas, like buying houses, walking around your house and dealerships, and exploring the world for hidden wrecks to give you a new car, that could have resulted in an amazing game if done well, but the gameplay kills this title. The graphics are bad,but the framerate remains solid throughout Sound design and soundtrack are hit and miss. Overall,Test Drive Unlimited 2 is a bucket of awesome ideas executed in an absolutely appalling manner, and it's a damn shame.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is decent stealth-RPG The gameplay is mediocre,my problem is that it asks you lethal or non-lethal,I take lethal and get a assault rifle with 40 bullets, how are you going to kill everyone with that? The stealth is well-done but i'm not a fan of the genre, and I hate RPG's but this one is **** bosses are unfairly difficult and generally really f*cking **** controls also feel weird, particularly on the **** shooting itself is not very good. The graphics are great, and the game does run really well on the 360. The story here is solid,no doubt about **** game is expertly voice acted, and there are plenty of dialogue **** game is very immersive too. The sound design and soundtrack are mediocre. Overall,Deus Ex Human Revolution is a game held back by questionable design choices.I would still say get it if you like stealth or RPG's,but everyone else should stay away.
Darksiders 2 shows that change isn't always a good thing I really liked the first Darksiders, but 2 minutes into this game I started seeing numbers when I hit enemies, and it already looked **** combat is still solid, but this is a grindy, boring RPG while the first one was a fun action-adventure **** level design is nowhere near as good **** platforming is way less enjoyable than the first game too. The graphics look dated, but the game has no performance problems The sound design and soundtrack are both decent. Overall,Darksiders 2 is a major disappointment that shows that change isn't always a good thing.
Project Gotham Racing 4 is a great racing game. The gameplay is solid. While it may feel arcady at first, once weather comes into play, you learn how realistic it **** game has icy conditions, and cars will slip about on sheets of ice or in rain or **** car and track lists are huge, and the career mode is great **** game also has loads and loads of unlockable cars and tracks,so there is a ton of replay value in here. There are also bikes, and yes,you can race car vs bike and knock the biker off for endless comedic value. The graphics are nice, with lots of weather variants, and the framerate remains solid, though there are occasional drops. The sound design is amazing, and the soundtrack is quite good too. Overall,PGR 4 is an amazing racer that you need to pick up and play.
Remember Me is a great concept with a muddled execution that falls into mediocrity. Remember Me's gameplay leaves a lot to be **** combat is awful, but the platforming, while simplistic, remains **** memory glitch sequences where you mess with someone's memory to give them different thoughts is another great concept, but ends up only being okay. The graphics are stunning, and the game does not have any performance problems. The story here has real potential,I won't spoil it in case you want to play the game. Sound design is decent, but the soundtrack is great. Overall,Remember Me's story, graphics and soundtrack pull it slightly above **** gameplay is what holds this game back, and it does not look like developer DONTNOD Entertainment will ever get an opportunity to make a sequel to fulfil this game's potential, which is a shame.
Bulletstorm is an amazing sci-fi first-person shooter. The game's main selling point is the leash, which allows you to pull enemies toward you and kick them into enviromental hazards like a pond. Each one of these ''Skillshots'' has a name i.e. kick an enemy into a cactus to earn the ''Pricked'' bonus. These skillshots earn you bonus skillpoints to buy upgrades to ammo capacity, alternate fire and so **** gunplay is also excellent. The graphics are great, but the framerate does run into problems. The story is also decent, and the game is filled with hilarious **** story does sequel-bait,and doesn't even do it well. The sound design and voice acting is great, though the soundtrack is mediocre. Overall,Bulletstorm is an intense thrill ride that is a blast from start to finish, and you are doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.
Juiced 2 is a mediocre racer. The gameplay is quite bad, with very slidy cars and rubberband AI killing much of the game's **** controls are good **** game also forces you to put your car up for pink slips in some races, which puts un-needed pressure on you. Car customisation is amazing, with a big decal selector, tons of options for hoods, bumpers, spoilers, and rims, and tons of tuning and upgrade options. The graphics are decent, and the framerate is solid. Sound design is quite good, but the soundtrack is awful. Overall,Juiced 2 is a game that had potential, but falls to mediocrity due to poor design decisions
Prince of Persia's 2008 reboot is a mediocre game and very disappointing compared to the Sands of Time trilogy. The gameplay is decent, with solid platforming, though the combat is terrible and the controls are very unresponsive at times. Also, you cannot die,as the girl you have to protect always saves you if you get slaughtered in combat or fall off a ledge in platforming.I actually quite like it as you don't have to go through loading screens, which is nice. The graphics are beautiful, and the framerate is solid. Sound design is decent, and the soundtrack is decent aswell. Overall,Prince Of Persia is a decent action-platformer
Crysis 3 is a bad game, terrible in comparisons to it's predecessor. the gameplay is worse, except for the addition of the **** AI is stupid, and the guns are like peashooters compared to the last game.Level design here is awful too. The graphics are still amazing, and the framerate is solid. Sound design is decent, but the soundtrack is new levels of awful. Overall,Crysis 3 is a poorly done sequel to a great game.
Crysis 2 is a very solid first-person shooter. The gameplay is solid with the Nanosuit mechanics stealing the show, allowing you to go invisible or become invulnerable for short periods of **** gunplay is also solid, and the AI is smart. The graphics are unbelievable, pushing the 360 to it's **** framerate here is also solid. The sound design is decent, but the soundtrack really doesn't fit the game. Overall,Crysis 2 is a really good game and is much better than the 3rd game.
The Bourne Conspiracy is a medicore movie tie-in. The game's biggest strength easily lies on it's hand-to-hand combat.Thankfully, this makes up a considerable portion of the **** can use the environment around you to kill enemies, which helps balance the odds,as you are often fighting 5 or 6 guys at a time. That being said, the gunplay is mediocre, and the game often follows the route of throwing the kitchen sink at you in an unfair **** stealth is also awful. The graphics are decent, and the game runs smoothly on the 360. Sound design is decent, but the soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired. Overall,The Bourne Conspiracy is a relatively ambitious movie tie-in that could have been great if it wasn't rushed out the door.
Bayonetta is a great spectacle-fighter. The gameplay is great, with a deep and satisfying combat system with over 100 combos to **** game is also extremely challenging,so expect to die a lot. However,if you die 3 times, you must restart the chapter (level) from the beginning.I don't like this system,as you can get a lot of cheap deaths on QTE's,which brings me to the other flaw in the gameplay, which is the over-reliance on QTE's,which ruins some of the game to be honest.Level design is superb though. The graphics are great, and the framerate never drops through all the carnage going on. The sound design is mediocre though, and the soundtrack is awful. However,Bayonetta is an awesome game that is well worth checking out.
The Simpsons Game is a decent movie tie-in action-platformer The gameplay is decent, with relatively solid platforming, although fighting sections **** game has great humour just like the show it's based **** levels design is good, and there is a lot of **** game is far too easy up until THAT BATTLE WITH GOD WHICH IS INFURIATINGLY DIFFICULT!!!!!!! The graphics are nice, with a similar art style to the **** framerate is solid too. The sound design is good, and the soundtrack is decent. Overall, decent game.
Shaun White Skateboarding is a horrible game, which gets completely destroyed by any of the Skate games. The game has the cool concept of 'molding' the world by doing tricks. This is literally the only thing that stops this game from getting a 0. The controls are awful andthe trick system is broken. The graphics are atrocious, and the framerate makes the game nearly unplayable. The soundtrack and sound design are abysmal too. Overall,Shaun White Skateboarding is an absolutely epic fail!
Stuntman Ignition is a great concept ruined by trial and error gameplay. I love the concept behind the game of you being a stunt driver for films. There are some truly amazing **** for everyone of those, there are 2 or 3 frustrating **** vehicles handle decently, and the stunt constructor will keep you coming back for a **** campaign is of decent length, coming in at around 8 hours. The graphics are quite good, with great and varied environments for each **** framerate does run into problems at points, especially when there are a lot of explosions on the screen. The sound design is good, but the soundtrack is mediocre. Overall,Stuntman Ignition is killed by it's completely unfair difficulty and framerate issues.
The Bureau XCOM Declassified is a decent squad-based shooter. The story is solid, albeit predictable until a surprise twist at the **** shooting mechanic is decent and the abilities you can get are really cool. However, your allies AI are beyond stupid, and you have to babysit the whole **** game also follows the cliche 'defend elevator' sequences and throws everything at you in an unfair way, which is a mark of bad design in my opinion. The graphics are impressive, and the framerate only hitches occasionally. Sound design is mediocre and the soundtrack ****. Overall,The Bureau XCOM Declassified is,just like Legendary, another great example of missed potential in ****'s still a decent game that is worth trying if you find it for cheap.
Homefront is a terrible futuristic FPS. The gameplay is an awful COD rip-off,and keep in mind I really don't rate many of the COD **** AI for both your allies and enemies are **** level design is ridiculously linear too. The graphics are decent, with consistent framerate problems. The story is interesting admittedly, but it is not as well-developed as I'd have liked. The sound design is mediocre, and the soundtrack is hilariously bad. Overall,Homefront is a straight-up waste of your time.
NOTE:This is a single-player only review. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a decent game, but is a step back from it's predecessor. The campaign is generic as hell, and despite some amazing levels, particularly the snow level early in the game, the campaign felt unfinished, with some downright stupid AI at times.I know this is a primarily multiplayer game, but at least give a good campaign for the single-player gamers like myself. The graphics are great, with a solid framerate too. The sound design is amazing, but the soundtrack ****. Overall,Battlefield Bad Company 2 is an okay game, but if you are a single-player gamer like me,don't bother with this one.
Battlefield Bad Company is a pretty good military FPS. The gameplay is solid, with good gunplay, great destructible environments, and smart AI for your allies and enemies. There is also a cool healing mechanic, where you must switch to your painkiller injections and hold a button to heal. However, this does wear off quickly and becomes an annoyance later **** checkpoints are quite poorly spaced out too. The graphics are decent, though they look really washed out in places during the **** framerate is solid. The sound design is amazing, but the soundtrack is nothing to write home about. Overall,Battlefield Bad Company is a solid military shooter that is worth playing to completion.
Call Of Juarez Bound in Blood is a decent western-themed FPS. The gameplay is decent, with good gunplay, decent AI,and decent mission variety.I like how you get to choose which brother you want to play as before certain missions. Each has their own special weaon, like a bow and arrow or **** game, however, does a terrible job of telling you where to **** game also gives you far too little time to reach objectives without saying 'mission failed'. The graphics are nice, with a real western look to them, which really makes you feel like you are in this **** framerate does drop in certain levels, but for the most part is fine. The story is interesting and well-developed and the sound design is incredible. However, the soundtrack is absolutely horrible. Overall,Call Of Juarez Bound in Blood is an okay western first-person shooter **** you like games with deep storylines, you will love **** the rest of us,it's a decent western shooter.
Halo 3:ODST is a medicore expansion for a great game. The campaign is bad, with no real spark to it,plus the fact that is 5 hours **** gameplay has not even seen a slight change. Firefight, which was introduced to Halo for the first time in this game,is absolutely great fun to play with friends, killing waves and waves of Covenant. The graphics are good, and the framerate is solid. Sound design is decent, but the soundtrack,as with any Halo game,is amazing. Overall,Halo 3:ODST can be summed up in one word:MEDIOCRE
Halo 3 is an amazing game, one of the best in this franchise. The gameplay is great, with excellent AI,great controls and great level/map design.Pack in a solid storyline with a great multiplayer component and you have an incredible game **** problem with the campaign is a lot of backtracking due to poorly spaced out checkpoints. The graphics and production values are great, and the framerate is solid. The sound design is good, with an unbelievable soundtrack to back it up. Overall,Halo 3 is an amazing FPS that you must own if you have a 360.
Skate 2 is a mediocre game which doesn't hold a candle to the 3rd game. The first problem with the game is it's clunky movement when off-board or moving things **** feels **** physics are off, with random moments when your skater just bails for no **** on-board controls are great however. Hall Of Meat is in here, and the 4-player Party Play mode is a lot of fun too. The graphics are OK,though the framerate suffers from severe drops which are at a detriment gameplay-wise. Sound design is good, with great humour, though the soundtrack is atrocious. Overall,Skate 2 is a disappointing game that barely gets to **** you want a game in this franchise,go out and get Skate 3,which is superior to this in every aspect.
XCOM Enemy Unknown is an amazing turn-based strategy game. The gameplay is great, with a surprisingly smooth port, perfect balance, good AI,and a satisfying difficulty curve. There is a lot of choices that must be made, and you also have trading and resource management. There is also permadeath for each of your soldiers, which means if they die in a mission, they are dead forever. The one major flaw this game has is the lack of an autosave feature. The graphics are pretty good, and the game runs fine on 360.There are very rare hitches in framerate though. The game is,of course, very long.I would say 40 hours minimum. Overall,XCOM Enemy Unknown is an awesome strategy game that is well worth picking up and playing.
