Let me start by saying, I've never played or been into fishing or fishing video games. I was recommended this title when I was looking for hidden gems on the Wii. Boy, was I in for a surprise. This game ignited a love for fishing video games in me I didn't realize I had. I've always enjoyed them in games as a quick mini-game/quest (Animal **** Emblem/etc.) where fishing is not the main goal. This was my first stand alone game that was all about fishing and it has not disappointed. It's extremely relaxing and fun. The graphics are adorable but still capture the true essence of the scenery and fish which I adore. You can collect over 200 types AND open your own aquarium. Ever since I played this game for the first time, it holds a special place in my heart. It's also why I got into Fishing Star World Tour and Ace Angler Fishing Spirits for the Nintendo Switch (more fishing games caused by my extreme love for Fishing Resort) All in all, there is lots to do in this game. From contests, collecting new species of fish, customizing your character and unlocking all the cool new areas. It's a 10/10. Don't pass this up if you have any inkling of interest in this genre :)
Been replaying this on the Battle Network Legacy collection and wow! The story is gripping in the way it makes you want to not put it down, there's lots of areas to explore and the combat is still fun as ever. I really love the dialogue in these games, and the way it changes with what is currently happening. It's fun to find all the different places you can jack Mega Man into, hanging with the cool cast of characters. It genuinely is fun and makes you laugh through out. The graphics are awesome considering the era this dropped (GBA) Lan is a pretty kick *** little eleven year old. Man saves the universe from peril constantly in ways the adults can't even do.
One of my all time favorite games i've ever played. It is extremely charming and VERY funny through out. It can be very dark and straight up savage but in the best way. I wish this game got the sequel the creator envisioned. A dang shame. The multiplayer in the N64 version is straight up some of the BEST I have ever played and I'm not a big multiplayer gamer. I guarantee me and my cousin put a bunch of hours in War/Heist/Steal the Flag mode. The story and characters were ahead of their time. This game will forever a hold a spot in my heart. I think about this game often! It's very nostalgic to me, even though it's absolutely WILD hahaha (I should not have played this as a child but I DON'T CARE) :D
Very fun game. It's addicting. Roguelike turn based combat, each adventure is different and can be played with a couple different characters with special abilities. It is REALLY fun to play, but somehow WAY better on the go. It keeps your mind focused on strategizing and trying to get the best cards/items/etc. you can. :) The best thing about this game is the versatility of how well or poorly your runs can go which makes you want more!
I have never played a rogueiite until this game and it definitely made me fall in love with the genre. Losing, winning, it all feels rewarding. I'm absolutely obsessed with mythology and this game scratches an itch I have been needing. I cannot recommend this game enough. If you're on the fence, don't be. Play one of the greatest games of the decade, you won't regret it! The art is just.. astounding, the music and the voice acting. I couldn't put it down for weeks!!! There's a lot more to do than just beating foes too :) from fishing, to building relationships and upgrading certain areas! I can't freaking wait for Hades 2. Supergiant ROCKS
One of my favorite games of all time and I've been playing them for a while. I liked it so much, I got P5 originally and was hesitant about buying the upgraded version but boy it was worth it. Lots of added content and a couple new faces added. :) If you're anything like me, you WILL get attached to these characters! The writing is dang good as always. I still can't decide who is best waifu, probably Death Nurse :D Hehe. I will cherish this game forever. P6, please take my future coin
Definitely one of the best JRPGS ever. But hey, it's Persona. That's what they do. B) Seriously though, the characters are some of the best. The dialogue is charming. Don't even get me started on the music! It's awesome. It has creepy moments, good laughs and feel goodness all in one. Check it out.
This is another one of my favorite Paper Mario entries. it is up there with TTYD and Paper Mario N64 to me. The story is one of the best in the series, I think. :) Flipping from 2D/3D was a charming inventive way to change up the platforming aspect. One thing about these games, the art style is so good. It's genuinely got some stunning dialogue and some parts that will make you chuckle out loud.
A game that is absolutely loaded with charm. My #1 game on my Gamecube growing up. I couldn't WAIT to get home and load this game up. The art, the characters, the places you explore to. I think about this game often. This Paper Mario and the N64 are my absolute favorite entries. Something about them truly captivates me! I think its the story and the buddies you meet along the way, not to mention its super fun to play!! There's so much to do and see. 10/10, make Paper Mario games like this again PLEASE. :)
Ii remember playing this game as a kid on my Gamecube. Wow, I was not expecting such an amazing story, I was absolutely blown away. The characters are all so lovable. You can explore the house as a tiny robot with the coolest flying television buddy around. I still go back and watch game play because it makes me so dang happy. I would love a Chibi Robo entry on Switch, that returns to this type of story, this type of game play mechanic. The later entries feel cheap and cheesy for a game that deserves so much more. A gal can dream!!!
I have not finished the game yet and I am already ecstatic for another playthrough as I am realizing things I missed/could have done differently. Fire Emblem series are gems and this one really shines, All of the possible combinations and support conversations/relationships, I really can't wait to explore even more. The lore in this game and the interactions really immerse you. I truly love the characters. 10/10 for me. Not to mention I haven't played around with the DLC much yet. I can't wait.
My first entry to the Rune Factory franchise. It was so awesome, I can't wait to play the other titles. Seriously, the game play loop is amazing. You can farm, recruit monsters, dungeon crawl, fish, chat with the characters (who by the way, seriously surprise me with the different dialogue and events through out, so cozy and nice, I don't get tired of talking to literally everyone) Play this game! You will not regret it. PS, Leon and Dylas best boys.
Who would've guessed that solitaire and horse racing would be such an epic combo? This game is addicting. It feels very rewarding when you win a race after hitting some killer combos. You can unlock diifferent horse types, the dialogue and characters are adorable. You can use QR codes from other players to breed ultimate horsies. Fun fact: Made by Game Freak, same people who worked on Pokemon! I can't recommend this game enough. Give it a chance. You might love it. I sure do.
