Game of Thrones: 8 The Iron Throne0
May 22, 2019
Bloody joke of a finale. Has to be one of, if not, the worst finale of any major TV series of all time. I burst out laughing multiple times as it was just ridiculous. Honestly, at some point, I was expecting that maybe D&D/HBO were playing a prank as their final goodbye, and the real episode will be revealed in some elaborate manner. This episode, however, has been a gamechanger: the first time a finale episode has made me reduce my rating for a TV show. Yes, it was that bad, stupid, and laughable. Game of Thrones went from a 10 to an 8, and destroyed all rewatchability value. Rejoice, Breaking Bad, your throne is safe (for now. The Expanse is a contender for best TV show of my lifetime right now. Go watch it). D&D shame on you for ending such a great story like this. Bloody clowns.

Amazing show. Very dark, graphic, but interesting and humorous as well. Chris Meloni, as usual, did a great job. Kudos. 8.5/10

American Horror Story: Season 89
Nov 15, 2018
Definitely the best season of American Horror Story since Asylum, and arguably could be up there with the first two. Everything from the story to the suspense and humor, and the photography was top-notch. Really impressed with the seasons, especially as the last 4-5 were not that great, with most horrible. A very solid and entertaining season 9/10 NB: Return To Murder House is a must watch episode. One of the best of the entire show.

This season was good. Not great, but it was well-made if traditional/conventional storytelling, especially compared to the previous seasons.. A very consistent pace, with solid acting, and good direction/camera work. Not as good as season 2, but better than the first. Can't wait for the next season. 8/10

Bodyguard: Season 19
Oct 27, 2018
Really good show. And interesting too. Lots of twists and turns, and to top it all off, a deep conspiracy. Very good acting here from pretty much the entire cast. Only potential criticism is that the show is a bit dry and down-to-earth, but that's what makes the story flow. 9/10

Marvel's Daredevil: Season 39
Oct 21, 2018
Wow. What a season. Everything was great, but the show could have done with less deus ex machina. Everybody brought their A game, and the result is something surreal. The acting this season was on a different level of good, and the fight scenes, especially, were just really captivating. Looking forward to more of this quality.

Legion: Season 29
Jun 13, 2018
Excellent season. High on mystery and surrealism. Couple of things happened that were really surprising and didn't make much sense from the Legion universe we have been exposed to, but overall, very thrilling. The final episode was really good too. Can't wait for the next season. 9/10

The Expanse: Season 310
May 29, 2018
This season is the definition of mind blowing, non-stop entertainment. This is what you call a sci-fi/space show. Damn. And to believe it was going to be cancelled. Shame on you Syfy. To be honest, this is one of the best shows I've seen in my life, and this season has just all but cemented that. 'Triple Point' (S3 Ep 5) also has to be one of the best TV episodes I've seen ever. If you are on the fence about watching this, take the leap. You won't regret it I promise.

The Expanse: Season 210
Feb 26, 2018
Definitely better than Season 1, and Season 1 was really good. Shohreh Aghdashloo remains my favorite actor on the show, and she/her character keeps getting more interesting. All-around great acting, and I'll add Wes Chatham (Amos) to the great acting/great character list this season. Can't wait for Season 3. Bloody good job guys!

The Expanse: Season 19
Feb 26, 2018
Amazing show. Was expecting this to look low-budget and gimmicky/cheesy but boy was I wrong. This is some serious sci-fi/action drama. Props to all those involved for this amazing show. And finally, biggest props to Shohreh Aghdashloo who, I feel, is the strongest character/actor on the show. 9/10

The Gifted: Season 15

I liked the premiere. It had a few issues (felt a bit rushed, seemed to delve a bit into conventional/predictable storytelling), but overall, it was a good watch. Hopefully, the problems don't compound over time.

The Crown: Season 110

Sneaky Pete: Season 17
Nov 21, 2017
Very enjoyable show. It is really entertaining, but it has a whole bunch of flaws, biggest of which is being realistic at a few points. Still, a good show, though the ending twist was very silly in my opinion.

Mindhunter: Season 18
Oct 22, 2017
Really good show. Very intriguing and interesting to watch. Good acting and really good plot. I had some issues with the pacing, as some parts were a bit too slow to unfurl, but that didn't take too much away. 8.5/10.

Great season. First episode was great, it slowed down considerably for the next few episodes, but from the middle till the end was really amazing. Really great acting too all round, most especially Ronald (played by Edi Gathegi, who was fantastic as he usually is). Great job.

American Horror Story: Season 70
Sep 26, 2017
Horrible. This show has become a parody of itself. Seasons 1 and 2 were top-notch, Season 3 was ok, but afterwards, the show has been a complete mess. And, yet, somehow, the showrunners have managed to outdo themselves and create a season even worse than the last one. Please have mercy on this show, FX, and cancel it. It is begging to be ended. What an atrocity.

Narcos: Season 39

Narcos remains a great TV show, even without Pablo Escobar. I had my misgivings about this season since I couldn't figure out how they would continue without Escobar, but they did a great job. Can't wait for Season 4.

Mr. Robot: Season 19
Jul 30, 2017
Wow. Gotta give these guys a hand. This is one amazing show. I did have issues with it tbh, and up until Episode 8, it was maybe a 7 or an 8, but wow the last 3 episodes really took this to another level. My only problems with the show come from the fact that some people just seem to act stupidly (e.g the plot involving Ollie and Angela and the CD - don't wanna spoil much), but it never succeeded in bringing the show down, especially towards the end. Love it and about to binge on Season 2.

Game of Thrones: Season 710
Jul 17, 2017
Excellent premiere. If this is what the rest of the season looks like, then we should be prepared for the best GoT season yet. The pacing is just right, the acting top-notch, the settings/cinematography is somehow even more stunning than usual, and unlike some other seasons, the stories that were focused on are well selected/relevant. Can't wait for the rest of it. I'll be updating my score/review periodically to reflect any changes to opinion, though I have a feeling the score won't be changing.

Fargo: Season 39
Jun 26, 2017
Really good season. I definitely preferred it to the 2nd, but the first season is still hands down the best. It has all the elements of a Fargo season: crazy co-incidence, cops really good at their job, cops really bad at their jobs trying to stop the ones that are good from doing their jobs properly, some really nasty and repulsive bad guys, and not to forget the best element: death - of all kinds. Looking forward to the next one.

Shut Eye: Season 16
Jun 6, 2017
Interesting show. Up until the end of the season, that is. The usual drawbacks lesser shows fall to: lazy writing, silly twists, unrealistic schemes, and unfathomable interventions (deus ex machina). Before the final episode, would have been a 7 or 8. Sad.

The Leftovers: Season 310
Jun 5, 2017
Such a beautiful show/season. Season 1 was a joke, Season 2 a beauty to behold, and Season 3 was just perfection in 8 hours. One of the best finales I have ever watched (I guess Damon Lindelof learnt his lesson from the very horrible Lost finale). Kudos to the makers/cast of this show. Sad to see it end.

House of Cards (2013): Season 55
Jun 1, 2017
What a shame. It's really sad that this great TV show has become such a convoluted mess. This was one of the most disjointed seasons of anything I've ever watched. Maybe the new showrunners thought the gaps in story-telling would work as a cinematic artform but it just made the entire show confusing as hell. Instead of genius, it left the story filled with plotholes. Then there were the lazy storylines. I'm still left trying to understand how a person would become comatose from being pushed to the floor. Then there was the buildup to nothing: After Claire and Frank had promised to reign chaos on the country and after their proclamation of the WH being 'their house' the best the show could come up with was taking the election to Congress. I think the new showrunners need to be fired. They have shown they cannot handle this show and the direction they seem to be trying to take it just isn't working. When the show isn't slow, it's disjointed. And when it's not disjointed, it's confusing and teeming with plotholes. I hope they get back to basics next season cos this was such a disappointment. 5/10

Billions: Season 29
May 13, 2017
Much better than the first season. I loved his from beginning to end. Hopefully, next season beats this by a mile. Unlike the first season, there was more natural and realistic story-telling, rather than shock-and-awe which the first season did (in the beginning anyways). 9/10

The Young Pope: Season 16

The Leftovers: Season 28
Apr 17, 2017
This was an amazing season. I didn't watch Season 1 (watched the first 2 episodes but hated them so I skipped), so there were a couple things I had to research on to understand, but this season was almost like a self-contained season. Only thing was that the season though good, felt detached from any overarching storytelling. As such, I found it difficult to grasp the overall consequences of actions that happened in the season. Still a good watch. 8/10

Legion: Season 19
Feb 24, 2017
Great show so far. Only thing I would say they need to start doing to get a 9 or 10 from me is to start focusing on the narrative and less on the theatrics. So far, it's not a major problem (hence why it gets an 8), but if it keeps up, it might just end up dragging the show down. There is potential for a great story here, it just needs to be given the attention it needs to thrive. We probably only have 10 or so episodes so a quicker pace with focus on the narrative will be much appreciated.

APB: Season 10
Feb 6, 2017
I had to stop watching after the scene where the billionaire guy basically bribed government officials to give him a police district to do as he pleases... in **** broad day light. What absolute trash. We all know stuff like that don't happen. There's no way any government official will cave to that in PUBLIC. But this show believes we are 5 year old children. LOL. Sorry, this deserves nothing more than a 0. Don't waste your time.

24: Legacy: Season 13
Feb 5, 2017
Damn this is hard. This actually started out great. I felt something akin to what I felt with the original 24. The mystery, the action, the anticipation... Until Eric broke the chair he was tied to (he was sitting) by hitting a man behind him with the chair. That was when I realised I was in for a mess. The show just feels like an empty shell of the original. Not gonna hold out much hope for this. The mystery/suspense though is still intact.

Dexter: Season 19
Dec 30, 2016
Great first season. This show, to be honest, started out a bit boring for me. I watched the first couple of episodes and I actually was so bored I didn't watch the show again for about 2 years. But I was trying to find a show to watch, and I came across it and decided to give it another go. There were a few plotholes/conveniences (killing the psychiatrist in his office, for instance, without anyone coming in or trying to find out where he was at, or at the end, the police leaving Deb without any police protection when the guy who kidnapped and almost killed her was still on the loose). However, the show still shines despite these. A very thrilling watch. 8.75/10

Black Mirror: Season 310

W.O.W. I am blown away by this season. My God. I found the first episode to be the least good, but that isn't saying much, cos it was good. However, the final episode blew my mind. My God. I think it's probably the best story so far in the series. This show just gets better and better. Big kudos to the creators and writers. You're doing God's work. 10/10

Marvel's Luke Cage: Season 18
Oct 13, 2016
A really good show, and first season. I initially had low expectations for this, since I didn't like Jessica Jones a all. However, from the first episode, I was blown away. The show has some really good depth, and very excellent character development. Can't wait for the next season.

The Night Of: Season 18
Aug 30, 2016
The first episode of this show is an 11/10. Perfection!. However, it slowly and slowly ebbed as the remaining 7 episodes played out. Overall, a great show with very realistic tones and plots, which is refreshing given the abundance of overdramatic shows like How To Get Away with Murder, Scandal, Suits, etc. However, this show would have done much better had it spent a bit more time on unraveling what really happened on the night in question. So many of the scenes were really unnecessary and the time spent on those could have been used to propel the story forward in more rewarding ways. Still a good show, but it could have easily cinched that 10/10 from me if it had a better plot priority system. 8/10

Billions: Season 18
Jul 25, 2016
It started fairly well, lost it's way in the middle and then ended with a bang. Tbh, giving it an 8 is a bit of a stretch, but I just like the way they recovered the season towards the end. The problem with Billions is that it struggles to balance the overdramtic and cliche (like Suits or HTGAWM season 2 especially) with fine storytelling. This was what brought it down and that is the only thing keeping it from soaring. The last scene was a nice touch, but it'd have been nice to not have Chuck pop into the office from nowhere. Overall, a series with massive potential, but they need to focus on telling a fine story, and leave the hyperdramaticness to Suits and other C-grade shows.

I Am Cait: Season 20

Absolute travesty. I'd rather watch a pig roll in mud to cool off it's body heat and then watch same pig birth 10 little piglets, blood, gore and all than watch another second of this. E!, do the righteous thing and take this off the air. Save some poor souls the torture.

I Am Cait: Season 10

Absolute waste of programming airtime. E should find another more deserving show and take this off the air. Even Keeping Up with the Kardashians is better than this. That's how bad it is.

Fargo: Season 110
Apr 23, 2016
Excellent! Not very often I give a TV series a 10, but this deserves it (Actually give it a 9.8 but 10 will do). The show is just well written and thought-out. So many shows seem like they think of the episodes on the go (see How To Get Away With Murder, and a host of others) but this show has such a cohesive plot, it's hard to pick at it. Sure, some parts have minor plot-holes (like how lucky some characters are in some situations, or how convenient a few situations are) but these are very minimal in this show. The show could be a little dark and sadistic for some, but that adds to it's realness and makes me love it the more. A must watch. now time to binge season 2.

Marvel's Daredevil: Season 28
Mar 25, 2016
This season has perhaps the best 'middle-of-season' I have ever watched. Rating just episodes 4-10, this will get nothing less than a 10/10. However, the first and last few episodes bring it down. Especially the last 3 episodes, since the momentum from the earlier episodes was moderately lost. The love scenes between Murdock and Page were especially amazing. The relationships explored this season were very solid and in line. Honestly, this season mostly excelled away from the fight scenes. Also, there were significantly less plotholes and unexplained phenomena this season than last season, which was a big plus to me since those were what killed last season for me.

House of Cards (2013): Season 410
Mar 6, 2016
Not very often I give a TV show a 10, but I must say, this season definitely deserves it. The first episode was a bit of a letdown for me, and I thought the season was going to be terrible, but as time went on, the beauty beneath the madness began to show. We see more inside the minds of the Underwoods and their true essence is revealed in ways that put no question as to who they really are. Overall, probably one of the best (if not the best) seasons so far. Bravo

Marvel's Jessica Jones: Season 14
Nov 21, 2015
Honestly couldn't get past the first 30-40 minutes of the first episode. I think it is wrongly cast and some of the acting is awful. Also, the writing and progression are both predictable and non-intriguing. I will give it another chance at some point but for now, 4/10.

House of Cards (2013): Season 39
Mar 2, 2015
Oh man! The negative reviews just irritate me. Yes this season wasn't as full of twists as the previous two. yes this season was slower than the other two. yes this season focused on the White House and the presidency unlike the other 2 which had a wider focus. Yes this season was narrower in scope and focus than the previous 2. But the pace of the season was perfect. It kind of slowed things down to reveal the dynamics of Frank Underwood's relationships. The other seasons never really explored why Frank had the relationships he had with the other characters; they just presented those relationships and we were meant to just go with it. In this season, we see how the relationships were built (Thomas yates) and were broken down (Claire Underwood, Remy, and Tom yates) and rebuilt (Doug, the Ribs guy). This season was a deliberate attempt for us to observe how the relationships were created and how they were broken down firsthand. This is not Suits or any other overly dramatic show. it's not every season/episode that we need crazy twists and overblown drama. Sometimes a show requires a bit of slowing down to let you meet and understand the characters. For those who said it was boring or focused on the presidency, Shame on You. Go watch Suits or Vampire Diaries if you want constant unrealistically sensationalized drama. The show will probably return to the usual pace next season but this season was necessary to create a realistic atmosphere for the rest of the season.
