"The Rum Diary" I believe is ten times better the movie than critics will admit. Great acting by Johnny Depp in portraying Hunter S Thompson, who is such an iconic figure. Wonderful acting, cinematography, and screen writing. However, the only thing that doesn't make sense is that Johnny Depp is 48 and Thompson was 23 in 1960.

It was exceedingly "cheesy" for the first 20 minutes but the movie slowly became better and better. It had beautiful images and scenery. It really made you feel James Franco's pain and how unbearable that situation would be. Overall a good movie, I think it deserved to be nominated for best picture but was not even close to winning it, however, I think Franco had a pretty good chance for winning best actor.

Salt was a very exciting action packed movie. The storyline has been done before but they added details and twists that made it interesting. The only negative thing was that it was unrealistic in some parts, such as when she escapes from the CIA building and her ability to beat the crap out of 20 or 30 professionally trained soldiers. I understand it's a movie but it could've been a bit more realistic.

Up in the air was witty and funny. It's a story about a man who doesn't realize how lonely he really his and how he changes as a person throughout the movie. Not to mention George Clooney was outstanding, he fit the role perfectly.

I thought it was a good movie. It had an basic but original storyline with some twists. The whole part where Matt Damon has to choose between a successful career and his "true love" is a bit cliche but it was nice. It drew on for a while but overall I thought it was an exciting movie.

This was just a another stupid "chick flick." I can't believe that these types of movies are what my generation watches now. This movie is about a nerdy girl who pretends to lose her virginity so she can become popular, it was exceedingly boring. I thought the actors were below talented. I must say that the only funny scenes were when Emma Stone's parents where in it.

It was a pretty good spy movie, I think most of the people who are saying that the script was boring that's because they don't appreciate the build up. I can imagine people who came into the theater expecting non stop action to be disappointed, but it's not that kind of movie.

I very much enjoyed watching Rangoo, I thought it put a great spin on the old Clint Eastwood Westerns. What stuck out the most to was creative the townspeople were. It had a simple but wonderful storyline and it didn't try to get to complicated but just stuck with the basics.
