A crew is selected to travel to deep space on a mission that may save humanity. Unfortunately, the members of the crew conduct themselves with all the professionalism of a high school social committee, which is perhaps unfair to high schoolers; Maybe they have more on the ball. Starting with an interesting premise the show, instead of answering the big questions, spends its time on side trips and soapy subplots. In space we all learn that revealing attire, and the regular application of makeup are the important shipboard activities. Dumb.

Does a reasonably good job despite lacking the exposition provided by internal thoughts in the excellent source material. Doesn't crackle the way the book does and the feeling of anxiety the main character feels in the book is somewhat lost. We have to understand that the main character could evolve from the person they used to be because they no longer have the memories and trauma of growing up under bizarre pressures. Looking forward to seeing more.

Still fun after these few years, until John Malkovich arrives to chew scenery and deliver the worst Russian accent heard since...John Malkovich in Rounders. The season is somewhat dented by the lack of chemistry between Damian Lewis and Nina Arianda but elevated by the subtle and complex father-child relationship of Taylor and their Dad.

Stunningly dumb. Unabashedly predictable. Watchable when Jennifer Carpenter is in the scene but that isn't enough to make the show work.

Hilariously bad. I can't look away and funny is funny so that helps the score. By way of example, the authorities go through the plane in HASMAT suits but they've already released all the passengers into the general public. The fun continues.

Sorry. One episode will have to be the limit as a reviewable sample. If annoying your viewership is the same as being funny then this show is hilarious.

A story that just rolls off the screen with an ease that exceeds the sibling Daredevil effort. Jessica Jones brings an array of textured supporting characters that provide a solid base for the heroin and her nemesis. A binge I shall look back on with undiluted pleasure.

A hilariously awful effort that wastes a sterling cast amid flag waving, fist pumping and a soup of cliches from National Treasure, Madam Secretary and a bag of low budget thrillers. Hard to look away though.
