There are some special moments in this film. You can see how much Adrienne Shelly and the crew had fun in this film. Personally, I'd kill the husband of the lead female character. There is no way I could ever, ever, play a role where I would be violent or aggressive to women. Maybe I got that when I watched LA Confidential. Russel Crowe always gets me in that role. No ****. You kill any **** being violent to women. A massive loss to the world.

Hi Andy, I hope you were doing OK. I am watching AdrianneI am watching Adrian at the moment. I guess it would be mundane for me to say the usual of how special she is in the Hal Hartley movies. He seem to capture her in the exact type of woman that she is. Really deep, very intelligent, beyond the idea of phGo well. Be safe.ysical beauty. I can write a comment on Metacritic, which I will, but I just want to say, and that you already probably know that you are one of the luckiest man alive to be able to win her heart. And that she obviously has an instinct. I'm the same type of person when I choose women, but I want you to know how rare these people are. It's with great respect to you that you won her. Go well. Be safe. Adrienne is one special woman. Why would anyone think to kill for money without knowing what they have? Why hang her? So sad. To kill is always the end of one's life, for both people. So sad. Worth watching for one of the most special women in the world. Watch Trust and The Unbelievable Truth, both films by Hal Hartley. Brilliant films.

Not bad. Not as good as the original. I guess that's to be expected. Seth still knows how to do the timing but I just think the story might be getting a bit old under the circumstances. But it's good. I guess if you watch the first one, you have to watch the second one just to see where it's going. It's really not that. I gave it the same scores the first one. If I was really into this type of demographic of movies, I've been giving both the highest score. But I am much more intellectual usually so then I'm even giving these scores is pretty amazing.

This turned out to be better than I expected. It really shows how good Seth is with his timing and his language with that timing. It could be the tiniest bit off and he would miss all his marks and all of it the whole film would be completely worthless. So it's pretty good. Worth the watch. It's excellent considering the demographic it is targeting. The confidence of Ted is actually really amazing. It's really impressive. I think that really makes the film. And the most interesting thing about that is he doesn't overdo it. It's just something to laugh at. All the main characters are equalised. I think that is what is so interesting. Seth sure knows how to time humour. It shows a strong intellect.

Watching this film again after so long was really interesting. I got much more of the humour in it than I did before when I watched it so long ago. However, I don't understand the ending in any way. Because it ends with an impossibility. And while I get the point is life is the state of mind, there seem to be so many holes in the arguement that they want to present. But that's only because of the ending. Before that, it makes great sense. It's awesome. Of course, someone like him would be regarded as the new president because politics is such a sham anyway. It's theatre. So it's a great film in that regard. But the ending doesn't make sense with everything else that the film presented. So it's great except for the ending. Amusing perhaps but impossible. He isn't a god. He's just a man. So walking on water is a really stupid ending for what is ultimately a really interesting film. I wish it ended more grounded which would make a lot more sense under the circumstances. I don't know what type of ending that would be, but it isn't the one that it ends with in the end.

This film is so intense. Olivia really doesn't amazing job of presenting a very flawed, distressed, mentally disturbed, character. However, her biggest problem is that she is alone. She doesn't connect with anybody. Admittedly, I don't either, but I'm not insane. It's just the choice for me. People distress the hell out of me. British films really present the floors in their culture. It's a really sad melodramatic film. Too intense for me to get into it because to me, she isn't as flawed as it seems. She would be far more traumatised and really disconnected than someone that's just being alone and doesn't know how to connect with people. She must have gone through some heavy stuff to be the character that she is. But the British seem to love this stuff. It only shows their cultural lack of identity.

I understand the criticism of this film. It wants to try to rewrite history of what Marilyn Monroe went through. To be honest, it might be right. That's the nature of being a star. Of wanting to be a star. And it's extremely tragic that people, especially women, not just Marilyn Monroe if it was true, go through to become stars. And that is a true story. But why has to use Marilyn as the lead doesn't really make sense. For me, personally, I found it so tragic. Marilyn Monroe or not, it is tragic for anyone to go through what they do to fulfil their dream of being a star.

First something that is so well acted by Pegh, who really makes the film because she is so amazing in playing who she is to be, the rest of the film is just so vague. It's really disappointing in that regard. So it's okay in the end but the vagueness really makes the film empty.

The female dancer is astonishing! It's truly amazing how minute movements can say so much. Can change what someone is like. The smallest things can make such a massive difference. So it's a fun film to watch for the dancing despite the story not being that interesting or even closer to being believable. I give this review with a double edged sword. On one hand, it's great that this movie brings to the attention the extortion, crime, of white people taking advantage of natives at any cost for their well-being. It's another version of when white people came to tribes back in the days of the 1600s and 1700s. Even before. Anything for money. This entitled white folk. On the other hand though, there's no way that Ernest could have loved Mollie. He was always in it for the money. I read some articles about this where the Osage rightfully point out that you can't say a couple love each other when one of them is slowly killing them with poison. Not to mention that he's murdering her family. So why this film wants to kind of portray this loving couple really makes no sense. Maybe It's an act that he plays for other people, even if it is something Hale keeps telling him. I think it would have been better, again as the article said, that the film should have sent it on the family of Mollie and her Osage family, not the couple. This is the article I read about that. I think it's pretty clear I'm pretty obvious that that is what really should have happened, especially after Mollie found out that she was being poisoned by Ernest and immediately divorced him: ****/6325586/killers-of-the-flower-moon-true-story/ However, I think more time would be better spent watching something non-fiction about it on YouTube.

That's quite interesting that people don't like this. I know they're sitting it up like the priest is the new superhero. I get it. Nevertheless, I have to admit that the CGI or however they made those rooms and how this incredible castle exists which I know is real but where did they film the dungeon? And the style? That's really impressive imagination. Although, in 400 years everything would be skulls. Where did the young kid come from because he did an amazing job about being possessed. And he looks so androgynous It's almost unbelievable. It's also interesting how the kids are so demanding and they feel entitled to be so demanding and not do anything. They want everything to be done for them. This is post millennial. And it hurts them. It's a terrible way to act and to think that that's feasible to get away with. This is why I didn't want children. Thank God I didn't. Really, for the subject matter, it's a good film. I especially like the second priest because he really pushes his character in the end and it's so impressive that they're in sync the way they are. He does a great job from being kind of feeble to being really strong, as is to be expected under the circumstances. And he did it. He wasn't a whimp. He made it happen. That's so impressive! It went really well! The only thing I don't really quite understand is why the head priest didn't think about where the devil came from. Why didn't he ask where are you from? Where is your base? Because then he could have said under the house. I have to say it was great and how they found his name. That was so cool! I thought it was really well done. It's worth the watch. I'm sure there's going to be some sequels. :-)

I totally understand where Nicholas Cage's character comes from. if for some reason you become uncool everybody just leaves you. He's not responsible for what is happening to other people but everybody wants to blame him. So they make a point of ostracizing him to be cool. There is no reason for him to be so ostracised and his friends should back him up. Everybody needs love, especially in his situation because it's not his fault. And his wife of all people shouldn't be afraid of him or stop loving him. And when he is screaming at the computer about apologising, it isn't all just about himself. He just doesn't understand what's happening. But nobody wants to help him and then accuse him of being self-censored to then come up with she doesn't know how she's married to him? And then the woman who gets her hand stuck in the door wants to blame him? I know it's a movie but the point is that these things happen in real life. And sure I've been through this personally. But it doesn't mean people find excuses to not love him. Especially since he has so much love in his life anyway. Why would people who love him stop loving him just because of people having dreams about him? Even if they're violent even though that makes no sense but it's still not his fault. And no one would change the title of a book or how an author wants a book to be presented. The French would never do that. I know it's a movie but getting no love is not manifest that way. Anyway it's an okay movie. I'm not sure what the big fuss is about.

Hal Hartley is an astonishing director. His timing and minimalism is extraordinary. I have all his films and I love them all. There's no point my describing them here because you could just look him up and you'll see his work but it's all worth watching. I really love this film especially with Adrienne Shelly who was sadly murdered either after this film or a few years after. It is a massive loss to acting and womanhood. So you will only really see her in Hal's films. She's not in many others. She fits his films like a glove. Hal use the same actors many times because they just fit. Of course, they must have loved it as well. Some achieve more mainstream greatness but I still don't think I've ever seen them better than in his films. So do yourself a favour and watch this movie. The timing is so amazing. I don't know how to describe it. Sometimes, well, often with good directors, it's hard to fit them in a genre. To say it's comedy is easy but it's the how that makes all the difference. That's why I have to sometimes have fold loose of my movies by director because there's no other way to put them in something else for them to be possibly missed. They have a flavour of directing. I hate this movie. I don't understand it at all or rather hate the aliens. They're just terrible caricatures. I think the story could have been told much better with not such weird looking aliens. It's still would have made the same points without it being so insanely weird. It had lots of potential and I totally get how the humans are acting, reacting, but the aliens themselves are just so unrelatable. I don't really understand what the writers, producers, director, were thinking. It could have been made so much more simply without the CGI of this really weird characters.

I found out that the original book was written in 1921. The story sounds really beautiful. However, I think the execution of this short film leaves much to be desired. Like Apple, it seems very forced. Well it is very forced. The CGI is terrible. How could they get the movement of rabbits so wrong in this day and age? We've seen much better so it definitely has nothing to do with access to the right tools. Also, how much it's forced is quite prevalent right at the end because when William finds a way to connect with other children, you'd think he'd have a massive smile on his face but he doesn't. It looks all kind of weird. There is a 2009 film which might be worth watching that's better.

I've never been into country and western movies. It's not the demographic that I have any interest in. However, in my persevering, this is actually a pretty good movie. Why it's a pretty good movie is because Samantha Mathis' character is wonderfully strong-willed. And even though she falls for the wrong guy, she makes her decisions with full responsibility. The other really noticeable distinction is Sandra Bullock really knows how to act. She is really amazing. When you see a lot of films, you can tell when an actor really digs deep into a character and they still own how it's done. The character she plays is nothing like her but she goes in so deep and pulls it off with again a character that is supposed to be ditzy but really does her best not to be. So she is responsible for her actions, too. It's so impressive. Despite the hokey music, it's really worth a watch.

I couldn't get past 10 minutes. Eva Green acts with such distance with someone who is obviously in immense distress. And everyone looks at this guy as an object. No one is respecting the trauma he's going through. 11 hours in a room with no one asking does he want food does he want water Just anything that is human. So it looks like everyone doesn't have feeling all the way from the beginning. Is that the point? Is that the point that the virus of people losing their sensors has started in the mind? Because that would make sense. I wonder if any critic brought that up? I don't know why people think Ewen McGregor is attractive.

Wow! This is really revealing. Of course you know that everything behind slavery and servitude is money. So really the biggest racist, discriminatory, prejudiced, abusive, bullying, vehicle is money that makes the stories. Do you know that? I'm talking specifically about usury. If we used a different money that value people, that empowered creating sustainably, that connected us to Earth, all these problems wouldn't be happening. What amazes me is there are things out there that are not usury or demurrage, that are called neutral currencies, that no one wants to use or care about using. You want the stories to exist one way or another because that's where the money is. I do not understand humanity. But what a great doco.
