Stunning visuals, amazing combat, amazing story, amazing characters and a great counter system. I suggest turning off the sixaxis and using french language. Amazing, Excellent even. The camera did get in the way a few times and I felt the last boss was unnecessarily difficult. Still, an amazing action/beat em up that set the standard for ps3 games to follow.
Beautiful game. Amazing mythology. Amazing combat. Borderline terrible story. Lack of counters, puzzle are annoying in this one. Camera becomes an obstacle in random platforming sections which have no reason to be here. If I could rate it on symbolism and mythos it would be a ten - easy. Unfortunately, the story is seriously lackluster and leaves me feeling less empathetic for Kratos than I should have. perhaps, I should have played 1 and two first.
It's one of the top 5 fighting games of all time. The roster is insanely balanced for competitive play. The visuals are stunning, the characters diverse and the replay ability is off the charts. Forget skyrim, this game will take 1000's of hours away if you try and "get good"
A boring protagonist is the first fault of this game. I often felt the game didn't know if it wanted me to be stealthy or guns blazing. The switch from cover system to non cover was odd to say the least.
Wish I could give it a 9.8. Amazing cast, Amazing visuals, Amazing story, Amazing writing and character development just overall amazing. I did feel some of the grinding however and no classic form of entertainment should feel like work at any point.

I originally gave this game an 8 because I felt the satire was overdone and obvious but then LIndsey Lohan sued and made it a staple of pop culture plus satirical genius.
It's like the creators of this game said "Let's make something like team ICO" and they did it. I'm not complaining because anytime a game comes out that uses the medium to it's potential it's a ten.
Games this good should be celebrated! it's a master of the craft simply showing off. There's so many metaphors and meanings in this game that they begin to mock themselves, mock you for enjoying them then makes you cry when it comes to it's end. it can be played in any way you want and is still a classic.
horrible voice acting, ok story, ok visuals, horrible combat, horrible puzzles. There's time that this game has made me sick. Motion sickness should not happen to a hardcore gamer like myself. it's not good.
Solid gameplay, solid combat, solid voice acting, solid story and beautiful art design make this game a 9. The DLC is all fantastic. The park-our is a blast. The puzzles are a little bit off but other then that it's amazing.

The combat makes it a seven. Few games have such stylish and complex combat. It's fun to play but the puzzle are too easy, the story leaves much to be desired and the monster designs are bland.
If I could give it a 20 then I would. Ico is a 10 and shadow of the colossus is a 10. I dare you to finish either of these games and think differently. These games are so good that they validate video games as an art form and prove the difference between film and video games. They are landmarks.

This isn't a game that screams classic right away but the ending makes it so. Rarely do video games present such a thought provoking story that can be a metaphor for gaming itself. Top that with beautiful visuals and an amazing cast of voice actors and you get a 10.

From the moment you start until the moment you finish; this game feels special. I would place it right next to your favorite t.v. show or movie and it would compete. It's the new gold standard of gaming.
