As a BF fanboy, I tried. I tried to convince myself purchasing the game was worthy, to find any good point in this game. I can't. Everything is wrong in BF2042. Maps are wrong, removing classes is wrong, gunplay is wrong, servers are wrong, the customization in battle just makes strong weapons stronger, the details we saw in BF4 and 1 are gone, Portal is simply inferior to the classics. I highly suspect EA rushed Dice badly only to make any unfinished release or Dice is so tired of that they lost the love and dedication to the series. Imagine a 2011 game is objectively and ultimately better than the latest one. ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD

A victim of the times, when CoD4 had way too much impact on later military themed games. The hardcore series fans have hated, and definitely will keep hating, this innocent game. They keep ignoring the fact Project Aces, the dev team, was suffering from the sales decline and they NEED to make a drastic change. I believe this game has some charms. The storyline surely is flat but not that horrible as they keep accusing. The gameplay is a bit off for "semi-realistic" AC standard but totally enjoyable as a super arcade-like shooter. This game ain't no "Ace Combat 7" and the dev team knew it. Good "spin-off" game with the most stubborn, degenerate community.

There ARE some flaws on PC release such as no support on what "latest PC gamers" need. No ultra-wide, no DSR compatibility, no VR or eye tracker support, no support on every flight stick in existence. The PC version is "lazy cash-grabbing console port BS" to them. Still that "fact" doesn't matter to most of players. The game redeemed the fame of franchise, with beautiful graphics and satisfying "semi-realistic, mostly arcade" gameplay. The roster of playable aircraft is sort of redundant with lots of Sukhois, yet it has almost all people's favorite. One absolutely positive thing on PC version is modding, including tons of mod skins for aircraft. Great game with the most degenerate community among flight shooter/flight sim genre.

What "PUBG" stands for is below: Plagues the players with tons of Chinese and hackers Unoptimized as hell even "decent" rigs can never keep up **** teamers and team-killers everywhere to ruin your fun Garbage, the total garbage nobody should even look at The devs are all brain-dead, money-bagging, fraudulent scammers. They have no idea about making the game better or "FIXED", they won't do something with infesting cheats, but all they do is money milking. With no doubt, it is the worst game ever, the most toxic cancer in the entire gaming industry. We can never see why that ****ness still exists, while there are quite a lot of BR followers which are definitely better than that. All we need is the DEATH of the game and the bodies of the entire dev team, including that PlayerUnknown guy.

While the game is obviously the spiritual successor of Armored Core, DXM could be more enjoyable for those who haven't played AC or just want a good mech themed game. The lack of hardcore gameplay has both pros and cons; it makes the game newcomer-friendly yet also makes it boring for "experienced Ravens". Still an awesome game to pick up.
