The movie could have used more money spent on it. There was a weird mix between indie-like cinematography and expensive cgi war scenes. Because of this, one was left wondering whether it's a blockbuster or an indie movie. Solid story though and both educational and entertaining.

Easily one of the best Marvel movies. Brie Larson is relatable as a badass woman who just doesn’t give a **** about smiling to please angry incels. She’s just being normal. I don’t get people who say Captain Marvel doesn’t have a good backstory, as clearly they have not understood what it’s like to be mindf***ed and put down by people. The chemistry between Larson and Law is awesome as well.
