I love the atmosphere and the chance to go into old times like that. all the adventures. The decisions you can chose. The temple missions. The game is just outstanding. id give it a 20 if it were possible.
The music is horrible. It sounds like it's from 1990 and there's not much of it. It really clashes with the other aspects of the game, too. It's like playing Mario Odyssey while listening to the music from NES Mario Bros. The game is very slow and repetitive otherwise. Skip it.
Extremely overrated. The graphics are only "ok," combat is clunky and basically comes down to rolling and dodging constantly, and the story/characters are boooring. I'm especially disappointed because I'd love to play as a magic-heavy character and it comes down to spamming one spell.
Graphics aren't that great, story is boring, and combat is horrendous. Combat is really where the game falls down, more than anything. It's clunky, all about rolling everywhere, and doesn't really have any strategy involved.
Within the first few minutes of playing the game, I fell in love with it. It was one of those games you don't want to leave, because it draws you in, the story is super interesting well written, amazing characrers, awesome choices that affects your playthrough. Highest possible praise from me
Good movie, boring game naughty dog only make movie games but gameplay is boring and no replay value all you do is one play and you are done with the game
Great game. Will give you chills and goosebumps but it's not as good as God of War 2 or 3 and much slower. The enemy A.I. has not been improved and their patterns and fighting styles are much more visible on the hardest difficulty. If you are out of sight for example then they will use grenades to flush you out and not try anything else. I remember I was hanging off a ledge and there was only one enemy left and he could not shoot me because I was out of sight so he would just throw Axes and he would carry this on forever, till infinity
This game is short. Way too short and very slow. If you could run faster or non stop then you would be able to complete it in 5 hours. It doesn't last more than 10 or 11 hours if you are slow and exploring everything like me. Not worth the price. Get it cheap if you can and I would recommend Devil May Cry 5 over this. It's much better.
This game pushes the boundaries for what video games can be just like its predecessor. Fast paced, action packed, third person combat with dynamic set pieces, an epic soundtrack. Truly feels like a Hollywood blockbuster. Worth playing hundreds of times. Never gets old. Just EPIC!
Most overrated game of this Generation after Assassins Creed and Red Dead Redemption 2. Worst game in the series hands down. Slow paced, pretentious, wannabe "cinematic" game. This game tries so hard to be "emotional" and make you feel like you are developing a "bond" between Drake and his Girl (like we have totally never seen this before in any other movie or game before ever). All the bosses are the same and they even look the same. They all carry some big wooden thing which they attack with and it makes every fight feel the same. A huge downgrade compared to the epic bosses of the previous games especially my fav cuz im smart. This game has nothing on my fav game. Heck, I even enjoyed the PSP games better. At least they weren't trying to shove some pretentious story down your throat
The best game of this generation and possibly the best game ever made. The story is absolutely amazing. You can play it without having played the first one but if you did play Witcher 2 then you will end up appreciating it even more after you had finished Witcher 3. The game feels really good to play. The animations and physics are the best I have seen. The graphics are only rivaled by a few other games like Detroit: Become Human and God of War.
Trash visuals, last gen level of graphics, horrible character models and textures. Heck, MGS4 from 2008 on PS3 looks and plays better than this game. Combat is clunky as hell. This game isn't tough. It's just frustrating due to the deliberately horrible checkpointing which pushes you back to the start of the level after each death, long load times and congested environments which makes each encounter unfair for the player. If this game had proper frequent checkpointing and no stamina system then it would be not difficult at all. These games only have artificial difficulty. Actual challenging games have smart enemy A.I. Those games are challenging but still fair not like this. There is no story either and no "lore" does not count as story. Remove all the cutscenes and dialogue from Mass Effect and just leave the lore there and then tell me what the story actually is and not just your "interpretation" of it. It's a game with a bunch of levels, where you kill monsters with no explanation for anything even after the ending. It's the most archaic type of mainstream game I have seen this generation.
Best game ever made. This is the only "modern" game I can still go back to and enjoy it. Every aspect is masterfully crafted. Gameplay is fun and story is entertaining and meaningful. Its only flaw is that it ended.
10/10? A masterpiece? Best game ever? Who's everyone rating this game like it's a masterpiece? To me it's mediocre. It has its peaks. Sometimes it's enjoyable. But as others have said it has too many poor design choices to be good or above that. There's nothing special here. Story is just cliché Stealth TPS with boring conversations adding nothing to the main plot. Combat is mostly unbalanced. Enemies are either too easy or suicide level challenging. It's painfully obvious how the developers made soldiers almost impossible to kill to force people into fighting monsters, so reviews wouldn't say "It's like Goldeneye 007." Mission payouts are close to 0. What you're gonna do with 50 Coins? Might as well loot everything and sell that for better profit. Perhaps you earn more later. I might figure that out some day. There's alot potential here. The design of the world is impressively detailed (especially rural locations), but that's pretty much the only impressive aspect. Back to my question. Who's everyone rating this game like it's a masterpiece? I know who. It's kids who aren't old enough to know the true masterpieces of gaming, and those who love it just because of the genre of setting and/or gameplay. To me it's nowhere close masterpieces such as My fav cuz im smart. I mean... masterpieces such as my fav cuz im smart
