For me this might be the best Madden on the Xbox 360, I know that might not be saying much. But from gameplay, how deep the Franchise mode is, the soundtrack, and on top of that how authentic the teams intros are when the matches start is something well worth noting.
In my heart of hearts, I wish I could give this game a perfect 10 but in good conscience I just can't! This was the first 2K game I had played since I want to say 2K8, and while there was quite a bit of improvement..that after player 2K11 many years later I see more faults with this game. Including glitches, no rookies (too be fair that was more of an NBA thing not 2K thanks to the lockout) and the AI is just stupid in this game. Not a terrible 2K by any means, quite underrated(better than 2K13) but you can see 2K slipping a bit after what many consider the "Goat" 2K aka 2K11.
Now I was late to the party when it came to this game, like nearly a decade late. Oddly enough I played NBA 2K12 before I even played 2K12 and honestly? This game is solid. I know a lot of sports gamers have this in the "Goat" category and honestly? Hard not to agree with that thought process. The game is not perfect but honestly what game is? Find you a good set of sliders and have fun.
Not a bad NBA 2K game. I feel like this games gets overlooked by many basketball/2K fans for some reason. Would have given it a 10 had they not gotten rid of 24/7 mode from 2K7.
For any NBA 2K fan, this game was pretty much the answer to NBA 2K18 (for all the wrong reasons!). Quite possibly the WORST Madden of all time.Tons of glitches, most of the time the game itself just unplayable, Longshot 2.0 was believe it or not a step down from the first Longshot back in Madden 18. Soundtrack was not good either, avoid this game like the plague!
When I think of "THE GOAT" of baseball games, this is it right here. Sadly this was the last MLB game EA came out with. This game had everything, the soundtrack, the graphics (at the time), the game play, the game modes, the franchise, an owner mode that let you build your own baseball **** freaking 2005 by the way! If you've never given this game a chance, highly recommend!
I've heard people say this is the most "Overrated 2K" ever, meanwhile 2K20 exists but that's neither here nor there. Was this game perfect? Of course not. The player models could be better, but outside of that this game for me has aged like wine. The soundtrack was good, the gameplay reminds me of modern day NBA oddly enough, My Career felt realistic for once, and this was the first time they added Expansion teams into My League. I know many people mention the "Paul George loading screen", but for me I was there for the day one release and never had this.
One many can argue the "Last Great" 2K game. Personally I can see why, soundtrack still holds up. The graphics are still great, the gameplay while not as perfect as some make it out to be is still a fun experience. My Career? A bit on the cheesy side but 2K sure has done worse , B-Fresh anyone? Overall, solid game.
Pretty overall solid game, you can tell Live was going in the right direction here. Then of course, the infamous NBA Elite came out and it went downhill after that. But here, still fun game nearly a decade and a half later.
Pretty solid WWE 2K game, one could argue probably the best in recent memory. Lone complaint about the game thus far is constant crashing when it comes to the "Create an arena" feature in the game. But hopefully 2K patches that ASAP.
Pretty fun game, a bit on the arcade side just like SMB3 but also some realism in it too which is nice. The difference this time around besides EA being behind this version, is the addition to legends to the game. If you enjoyed SMB3, you'll most likely enjoy this as well.
Overall a pretty solid game! If you are like me and am tired of the same crap EA gives you with Madden on a yearly basis, give this a try! It's crazy to think one guy actually made his game. The Franchise mode is much deeper and gameplay is more fun to me than modern Madden. That said, the one turn off would be the graphics obviously meant to be an old school like "Retro Bowl" kind of deal but for me long as the game play is solid don't care what the game visually looks like in a graphics standpoint.
For a studio that's actually built up of four people, this is amazing. Some may call it "Halo with portals", but this game just knows how to be fun and easy to pick up even for anyone that's not used of FPS. Also, the game is FREE as of right now! Can't beat that right?
I know this game came out nearly three years ago, but this game has been approved upon. The graphics are solid, the gameplay makes you grind yes but it's worth it. Has pretty much every Star Wars character you think of, it WAS at least on sale for only 10 dollars on PSN recently and has a decent campaign mode.
While I can see gamers going "Wait, isn't this the same as last year?". Yes, and no. Obviously the similarities are there. That said, it's not really a bad thing The Show 19 was a pretty solid game. As 20, nothing bad really against it. They added "custom" teams. However, the one bad thing is that you can't create a stadium, put prices on snacks like hot dogs, tickets etc like you could back in EA's MVP Baseball 2005. Overall though, solid game.
It's amazing to see how bad NBA 2K20 was for us to appreciate 2K19. Honestly, 2K19 to me is a pretty solid game if you're like me and prefers to play offline rather than online. However, if you love playing in the "Neighborhood" well I can feel your pain. That said, what I love about 2K is how much depth, fun and the amount of game modes this one has. Cherish this one before we get 2K21 which will be imported to next gen aka a WORSE version than 2K19/2K20 all put together!
This game is overrated as hell. Is it terrible? I wouldn't say that, put it to you this way EA tried to put both Dark Souls and Uncharted into the Star Wars universe with this one and to me it's just too frustrating.
Got this game recently as a gift, thought maybe it was just people hating to hate..NOPE! Turns out this game is a mess, the park is nothing but lag for the most part. It's legit copy and past minus they replaced "Footlocker" with "2K Shoes". (I wish I was making that up). The AI has no idea what the term defense means, when you control your build more often than not he feels like he's trying to walk on ice. Game hasn't touched My League, My GM has been gutted, more microtransactions, slow loading times etc just make this game trash. If you have 2K19 play it! A lot of 2K fans are going back to 2K19 due to how trash 2K20 currently is. The fact fans are look forward to 2K21 over 2K20 is just proof of how bad this game is.
The fact this game to this day, made nearly 16 years later still holds up to the day when it comes to both game play and presentation show something. First, that how behind EA is when Madden but also how ahead of it's time 2K was with this football title. Translation? It's still the GOAT of football titles.
Live 19 is a interesting game to say the least. While the gameplay can feel a bit stiff especially when it comes to driving in the paint on offense, there is some charm to it. The fact you don't have to PAY TO WIN aka use VC to upgrade your build is a breath of fresh air. (As sad as that may sound). The flaw I will say as well, is Franchise mode gets stale pretty quick especially compared to "MyGM" or "MyLeague" for 2K. But when it comes to "The One" along with play now, the game is actually a nice alternative to 2K.
The online is nearly unplayable. So many times myself and other players have been booted out of servers due to errors. Not to mention even when you do log in, there really isn't much to do outside of hunting or doing the same missions over and over again. It seems like Rockstar tried to take the format from GTA Online, and gutted out the depth thus making it worse. Until Take Two gets the servers working correctly and add more to the online feature, not much to see here folks.
Before I begin, this is just a personal preference. But, FPWW is a complete wrestling game. The gameplay logic is where it's at along with the customization! The fact this game doesn't get enough attention is a shame. Especially with how bad WWE 2K has been this past year, the controls do take some time to get used to and the graphics aren't amazing by any means. But if you love customizing your own ring, roster, promotion, etc along with good gameplay I highly suggest checking this out!
