Complete garbage. A story that ranges from boring to completely moronic. Gameplay that ranges from boring to broken and unplayable. Glitches and bugs dominate the game even after well over a year. The fact that this has anything more than a 0 is pathetic. I looked through the people giving this a 10 and almost all only had one review posted. The user rating makes way more sense now.

This is a pay and grind to win game with insanely widespread cheating in every round you will play. Even disregarding all of this, and the controversies, it's garbage. Awful map design, awful weapons, awful movement, awful vehicles, and constant bugs. That is if the servers even work properly. Which is usually only a few days a week. This review took more effort than making this game. Edit: There's also no Autobalance, the record for me was 19 vs 32 players for almost a full round.

The story is solid and the only thing keeping me engaged, although not enough to make this an enjoyable experience. It starts off strong, then loses itself in the monotonous and frustrating game until pretty much racing at break neck speeds at the end. But since this is a game and not a movie, this doesn't come close to making up for the rest of this train wreck. The game is generally boring with ridiculously easy obstacle courses, puzzles and upgrades that you're usually given without much ceremony or reason other than now it's time. Then you travel between the same 4 or 5 planets (i was so checked out for most of it, i just finished and don't even remember) retracing your steps to access small new areas with those new abilities. Most of the game just feels like they were to lazy to come up with anything to do, so this was their way of stretching out the time. If you're a completionist like me it works, because it made the game a lot longer than it actually is. The worst part in all of this is the combat, it's awful. Just frustrating, clunky, kind of boring, and bad. So, so, so bad. The only thing that will stick with me is the annoying asf target lock, and the garbage game camera. There's no feeling of being a jedi, no cool abilities, it feels like they just did the most basic things. When you fight groups you can only focus on one, or not lock on and fight more against the camera than the enemies. But if you lock on you can only attack that enemy, and switching between enemies frequently doesn't work. The blocking of enemies and lack of attack options means that there is no flow of combat, you end up just randomly dodging and jumping around waiting for your openings. Fights against one opponent can be fun, but it's not enough. Especially the issues with the game camera ruin it. It is challenging, but more the challenge for the "git good" gamer culture. With the challenge stemming from awful game mechanics. The load times are unacceptable, the traversal is slow and has no real flow to it. Tons of graphics glitches or models not loading properly. This is a complete failure ****. I love star wars, and this kind of scratched an itch. Like a drug addict that's nearing rock bottom and wondering what I'm doing with my life, and why i keep wasting my time with something i don't enjoy.

This game is easy to summarize; pay to win and camping. Gameplay is garbage. Nothing to do with WW1. I've already put more effort into this review as the developers put into the game.

This game is part **** of games that uses "Difficulty" to excuse through and through **** game design. The fact that this has such a good rating is a joke. The graphics are meh, the story is meh. The gameplay is bottom of the barrel awful. Starting with the game camera that makes it pretty much impossible to see anything in a lot of situations, especially against larger Bosses where your camera will get stuck and you won't have any idea what's happening. Boss fights also frequently rely on oneshotting the player since coming up with an interesting Boss fight would have been too much effort. In general combat is another pretty big meh. You dodge, attack, dodge, attack. All of it in what's supposed to be a slow and deliberate way of fighting. Although I'm not entirely sure that was the plan since Boss fights don't entirely fit into this style. The challenge of the boss fights also feels less like the Bosses are difficult, rather that you're fighting against unresponsive controls, clunky Models and a camera that's hell bent on confusing you. The lack of checkpoints means that when you lose a boss fight (the only times losing is possible) you have to fight your way through pointless minions over and over again. This isn't a challenge, the enemies are easy to beat. It's pointlessly wasting the players time in the name of some challenge i've yet to figure out. There's no resources to waste or health to lose. Just your time. FromSoftware as a Developer has done something fascinating, they found a way to market awful game design. Using the community to silence any criticism by pretending it's all about the difficulty, the "git gud" attitude. And this games score shows that it works, this is why we can't have nice things.

Pretty much trash, but looking at the game it's pretty much what you can expect. People here call it a great "strategy game" even though it is incredibly shallow when it comes to that. You control the spread through how you develop your disease, but in the end a lot of it comes down to luck and basically doing the same thing over and over. The different strains could have kept it interesting but the developers were too lazy to actually make them all that different. So the replayability people mentioned is basically doing the same thing over and over again, and watching how it spreads this time. Then again if you're calling this game a "good" or "interesting" strategy game, or a strategy game at all, this is probably great replayability for you.

Same as Origins, if nothing was new and everything was either bad or boring. A really high price for what is basically a new texture mod for origins. The open world and story are the only thing this game has going for it and that has become pretty worn out, especially after the last title gave hope that this series might become good again. Edit: The story starts of good but ends in dissapointment and headscratching, just awful. And speaking of open world, the lighting in this game is just complete and utter trash. Combat barely works right, generally be happy if the game actually responds to inputs. So when you play on nightmare and everything has to be timed properly have fun. Especially against Boss type enemies you realize that the developer never considered how this would work with their combat system. Plenty of attacks are entirely undogable, you can't doge with the short version and staying on the button takes longer than the time between start and execution of their attack. Loads of fun. Even against normal enemies the combat is somewhere between annoying and boring. At least in origins it was something new, and it was definitely better than this. Combat for the most part is simply designed to be frustrating and take as long as possible. This game is a waste of time on every level. The ships could have been a fun feature but combat is boring, like a worse version of the fourth game, and customization laughable. Fighting the games version of the Templars is pretty boring and by the numbers with no effort to make it more engaging and interesting. And the fact that you can't control your horses speed is a very small thing, but it is just grating after a while. Stealth play is also ruined in this game, since you can't even kill most normal enemies with assassionations and definitely not your targets. So you always end up having all out fights with all guards and mercenaries around, or pick them off one by one which to me was always an incredibly boring way to do it. This whole thing is basically as fancy walking simulator, although even most of those are a more interesting experience than this game. And to all the people giving this a good rating, you're the reason we can't have nice things. The reason crap like this gets produced over and over again in the laziest way possible.

Entirely overrated game. Good on the surface, but if you play for a bit you start to notice how lazy and bad most of the gameplay actually is. They should change the name to Riding simulation Beta. Although it once again shows that critics care far more about the hype and how the game looks than how good it actually is. If this was an Indie game it would be fine, but as a AAA title from a big developer a game where neither movement nor any other controls can be called working is a joke. If i didn't know better i wouldn't think that this was released in 2018. The whole experience is somewhere between boredom, and frustration over the broken mechanics, barely working controls and movement that shouldn't be from this decade. The only thing this game has going for it is the scale and beauty of the map. So if that's enough for you go for it, but considering how bad the riding mechanics in this game are the enjoyment is usually accompanied by a fair bit of frustration. The game might deserve 2 or 3 as a score but the way they sold and hyped it makes what you actually got just plain insulting. Don't waste your money on this pile of ...

Not an american football fan, so just looking at this as a game. It is entirely pointless, one of the worst things i've ever played. You don't actually influence the game, have fun sitting back and watching things happen without you. Watch tons of unskippable cutscense that are supposed to make it feel like you're watching a real game. Surprised EA hasn't put Commercial breaks in there. Just let the number generator do it's work and pretend like you're doing something. And instead of buying this, you might as well watch one. There is nothing good about this game. Luckily I picked it up for barely any money.

This game is a huge meh, and definitely the WORST paradox game I've played. Compared to HoI and Crusader Kings this is just awful. Mostly boring and trying to give the impression that there's actually a lot of options, while having very little actual substance. In the end the whole thing still feels unfinished and lazy. It really doesn't help that just like so many other games it still basically boils down to fighting wars, therefore battles, which like so many other games just comes down to luck. Although this is especially lazy by just determining it through literal dice rolls which it shows you

This might be a good game as a football fan, but as someone who follows no football whatsoever I just look at this as a regular videogame. I bought it as a party game when friends are over, other than that this just fails in every way as a game. You don't really play, you just kind of watch scripted scenes happen that make anything you do entirely pointless. Changing games from one second to the other, what annoys me the most is when my players seemingly run automatically in a different ways to what i'm inputing. Or defensive players I'm not controling literally moving out of the way to open up scoring chances for attackers. In other situations you have pretty much no control. It generally ends up feeling like not matter what you do, outcomes are changed depending on what result the game aims for. Started the journey and didn't even stick with it for more than half an hour before getting bored with it. Never played oline so I can't assess that, this is just too horrible a game for me to bother. And of course the usually complaints about just generally bad gameplay, horrendous controls and outdated looking graphics. I'm guessing it's all about the hardcore addicts spending massive amounts of money on the online features, never actually looked at those so that part doesn't really into my opinion of this game too much. First EA game i bought in a long while, and the last. The usual quality you can expect from them. Critic Reviews are once again a joke. This game is just aggressively bad.

Just an amazing game, really surprised me. Really solid story, fun combat, the open world really feels alive and just moving and swinging through the city is amazing fun (fun enough that i've spent a lot of time doing nothing but jump and swing around). Plenty of challenges to do, some might get a bit boring but mostly it's fun little minigames. The boss fights are kind of boring. Easy with some simple little gimick, they feel a bit out of place considering the game as a whole.

This game is just bad... The trade system as an important revenue source and settlement building are kind of good i guess. But this whole thing can be summarized as good ideas, horrible execution. The game runs badly, it's buggy and the UI is just horrible. The worst thing that makes this pretty much unplayable for me is the confusing, weird, and just all around failure of a battle system. Calling it "raw" and "counter-intuitive" is a serious understatement. I really can't stress enough how bad and just game breaking it is. Diplomacy is the same as pretty much every other game, very few options and the bots make hilariously high demands even as they're losing one city after the other. Calling this game challenging is just a joke. I'm not going to try any higher difficulty, or even playing it again anytime soon(or ever), but on normal and hard there isn't any challenge there. Edit: Gave it another shot, aaaaaaand now it's 0.

The game constantly stops on loading screens, making it borderline unplayable. Not much of a surprise considering the developer but still makes this game a complete waste of money. This game has the best story of any game I've played in a very long time. Just for that it's definitely worth it and the choices are well implemented. Making you think about every choice and hoping you didn't do the wrong thing. Of course there is the amazing looking Artwork, which definitely ups the games points. Sadly the gameplay is just boring. The tactical combat is about as simple as you can make it and unless you're playing at a high difficulty it's pretty easy. There is very little room for creativity on the side of the player, after a bit every fight is pretty much exactly the same unless it has some gimmick. Think the second South Park game. The world map is the most boring thing ever. You just watch your little caravan move and wait for some decision to interrupt the boredom.

The best assassins creed game since the first, although that really isn't saying much. The game looks gorgeous and the stealth seems to be a little better but it's pretty much the same as always. The big new fighting system is mostly a failure, better than the old ones, but just horrible. My thoughts playing this were always that the main focus of the devs were the animations looking cool and not the fighting actually being fun. Or even working properly. Most of the time you're not fighting the enemy but rather the camera. The RPG mechanic is barely noticable, it mainly influences which missions you can and can't do so it does sort of guide you through the side missions and regions. THere's nothings really interesting in the equipment mechanics, just always switch to the better one when you get it. Really no point to this even existing. This entire game shows that the Devs really shouldn't be trying anything new. This is just a half assed effort by an incompetent team that's more suited to putting out the same game every year than actually creating something. Ubisoft really has gone downhill.

This is a fun, game that's relaxing and stressful at the same time. It's not for you if you don't have the patience, it's not that easy to get into and takes it's time. You have to constantly deal with your colonys problems and make sure that you're planning for the long term. It also brutally punishes any mistakes you make, you might spend hours on a colony and by the time you realize you did something wrong it might be entirely too late to do anything about. With you desperately and hopelessly struggling to safe it. I liked the graphics and design of the game, the whole look really adds to the experience. Controls are simple and easy to learn. I would have liked some more statistics to help plan my production and figure out my colonys consumption of resources. I guess it adds to the challenge, forcing you to do more planning yourself. The story elements are a fun addition to the game, really adding to the replay value.

An unplayable mess of bugs and a half finished combat system, it's a joke that games like this are actually released so long before they're finished. If it was a movie then the narrative would actually be good, but as a game it's just frustrating to play. Also for anyone looking for strategy/tactics in this game, it's all about luck and the rest is just boring.
