Much like RE:Remake, this title effectively captures the satisfaction of slowly and sequentially going through objectives and planning out your little adventures. Resource management in hardcore mode is also mostly enjoyable (although like previous games I always end up with too many resources by the end). Visuals and atmosphere aren't quite as gorgeous as RE:Remake but otherwise the game is pretty.Main issues, Mr X and the William are outrageously dull and annoying to deal with. Mr X is scary for a whole 3 seconds when he first shows up, after that he is just a time waster. None of the boss fights are tense, scary or challenging in a satisfying way. While these issues are fine during the first playthrough, they really hurt my motivation to finish my subsequent playthroughs, knowing these tedious affairs will be my reward for making it through the acts. Lacking boss fights has been an issue with RE games and this title doesn't rectify this unfortunately.

I haven't felt this attached to characters, story and world for a video game, possibly ever (maybe undertale?). This is a truly remarkable piece of art and a really fun game to boot.

The lack of customization made this a less compelling game then from's previous titles, but still a masterclass in game design.

While there are some good elements in the combat and graphics, found the boss design and world too dull to leave any strong impression beyond it being a solid souls like.

As someone who was skeptical from the trailers, this game turned to be a fantastic triumph. A combat system that has learned from past games, bosses and level design up to scratch with past iterations and what I felt was the most compelling lore and world yet, with the support of GRRM.

As someone who has been disinterested in the MCU since iron man 2 and with limited interest in the hero shooter genre, the fantastic art style and solid gameplay loop in this game was able to break through all those past barriers and get me addicted. A fun shooter with a lot of visual splendor.

As a dnd player, this is a fantastic aside with deep systems, great characters, writing and voice acting with combat that sidesteps a lot of the tedium that dnd can bring. Most immersed in a western RPGs story of all games I have played.

Came into this with middling expectations considering the poor reception this game got. While some cut-scenes and dialogue drags on at moments, I ultimately really enjoyed the writing and characters. The atmosphere and music is top notch. Shockingly, the janky shooting is greatly held up with interesting mechanics and enemy placements. Found the shooting segments more entertaining than the likes of gears of war or uncharted although that is highly subjective on my part. I actually found myself wanting to replay this game immediately after completing it.

First rodeo with Halo 2 and fantastic graphics, music and voice acting elevate strong gameplay.

Seth is a great addition to the game and has become my favourite character in the game. Otherwise, still a strong fighter for casual play.
