Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)7
Nov 30, 2012
This game isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. While usually glitchy, the game is still pretty fun & some of the glitches are fun themselves. The story isn't that bad, it was actually decent but parts of the story are pretty awkward, but other parts are actually pretty good. I will say this absolutely isn't the best Sonic game, but it isn't the worst either. I liked it, I do think it feels rushed so it could be a launch title for Xbox 360 & PS3, there are things that are wrong with it, but the best way to describe it is it's a decent game that has Sonic Adventure-esque gameplay (though not as good as Adventure). And to those who keep hearing Sonic & Elise made out or anything like that, it was a simple, yet still awkward two-second long kiss, it's easy to look past it & get on with the game.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed10
Nov 25, 2012
Okay, when I wrote my first review for this game, I had only played it a little bit, but now I've gotten to play through a huge portion of the game. This game is by far one of, if not, THE most beautifully done game made by SEGA & is an amazing pickup no matter if you are a SEGA or Sonic fan or not. This game is a mix of the first Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing game, as well as Mario Kart 7 & Need For Speed. It features all the great fun of a kart racing game, but features beautiful graphics & a more realistic racing game engine that resembles Need For Speed or Forza Motorsport. The controls are very realistic to how how think each vehicle transformation should play. The car sections play just as anyone would expect, the boat sections are great with waves & currents to make the sections funner & more challenging, and the flight sections play like a flight simulator (inverted up & down, etc). For SEGA fans, this game is sure to please you with an incredible roster of beloved Sonic & SEGA characters, as well as tracks that are based off of great levels that they've made into fun tracks to race on. The soundtrack for the game is made of mainly of remixes, but is still perfectly fitting & very catchy. This game is also like how video games used to be, packed with a bunch of amazing unlockable content you don't have to pay for but you really have to work hard to get, it's a very lengthy, but nonetheless, amazing game. No matter if you've been a SEGA fan for ages, or if you just picked up the game to have some fun, you'll love this game for sure, it is for sure one of the best racing games out there.

Sonic CD9
Nov 19, 2012
Sonic CD is by far one of the best, and more interesting games SEGA has ever made. It features the old Sonic gameplay you remember back on the Genesis, but it features a story featuring a new rival for Sonic, saving Amy Rose, and time traveling that puts the player in control of making a good or bad future for each zone. The game starts off just as it should in a Green Hill-esque zone called Palmtree Panic which the player can easily get used to the game in, but later & later in the game it turns up the difficulty to the perfect level as you progress through the game. This re-release not only has the beautiful HD, but also makes all fans of the game happy by including a feature to select the American or Japanese version of the sound track, which both are great (but I do prefer the US soundtrack since I grew up with it). This HD re-release was so good, I've bought it literally on each platform it was released on.

Sonic Adventure 29
Nov 19, 2012
This much expected re-release of this game plays just as it should, it doesn't feature any new weird & frustrating glitches (unlike the re-release of Sonic Adventure), it plays just like you remember & it actually supports full widescreen HD (again, unlike the re-release of Sonic Adventure). This game also features downloadable content which adds the enhanced Battle Mode from the GameCube version of the game, and it's completely worth getting, especially if you have anyone to play with or against. For only $10 to $13 for this re-release, it's well worth it.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D10
Nov 19, 2012
Probably the best re-release of a video game....ever. This game features all of the great memories you had with it as a kid, but with redone graphics & stunning 3D-effect. It's by far one of the greatest video game experiences, but the 3D just illuminates this game in glory that this game highly deserves. No matter if you've played it before or if you still call the dude in green Zelda (even though he's actually Link), you'll love this game.

Sonic Adventure 28
Nov 9, 2011
Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the greatest games anyone could get for Dreamcast, Period. It's a great follow-up to the original Sonic Adventure & features a very well written & interesting storyline including the introduction of a brand new character, Shadow The Hedgehog. The Sonic/Shadow levels are the best part of the game, it really sticks to the concept of Sonic & is a great example of what a level in a Sonic game should be & features blazing fast gameplay, the Tails/Eggman levels are also entertaining but kind of lacking at the same time, while the Knuckles/Rouge levels are rather boring, time consuming & somewhat frustrating. Overall, Sonic Adventure 2 is a great game & the greatest Sonic game for Dreamcast.

Sonic Generations10
Nov 9, 2011
Sonic Generations is perfect for any Sonic fan, no matter if they discovered this blue hedgehog on Sega Genesis or Xbox 360. The game features some of the very best levels from Sonic games over the past 20 years & reinvents them all, the classic gameplay stays true to the gameplay many of us have grew up with on Genesis, while the modern gameplay puts a whole new view on each level with the gameplay that we've seen in the more recent games (example: Sonic Colors). Each level has kept main features, Green Hill still has its motobugs & loops, City Escape still has its grinding down a steep road on a board & giant truck chasing you down at the end of the level & so on so on. The game has a good amount of content for those who are willing to complete missions, otherwise you'll find it to feel rather short, but the time & effort used to complete missions will be well worth it, the game features unlockable skills for each Sonic as well as special concept art from the past 2 years, music from nearly every Sonic game released & even more. Something that's rather nice is there are hidden easter eggs in certain levels that refer to other levels that didn't make it into the game. Personally, this game has taken my greatest memories of Sonic & recreated & added to them with this game, I was very impressed with how well they kept the Dreamcast era levels to the originals with the Modern gameplay & I was also amazed with the new point of view they've put on the Genesis levels. This game is must have for any Sonic fan, no matter how long they've been a fan of the series & this also makes a great first game for players who have never played a Sonic game before since it covers the very best levels in the series history. One thing I will say is I'm hoping for DLC for this game and not just a pinball mini-game, if Sega released downloadable stages it would make the game even greater & assure that fans won't get bored of this game. Overall, Sonic Generations is the greatest Sonic The Hedgehog game ever released in my opinion, but I hate the fact that Classic Sonic can't just make a permanent return from this game on.
