This is a bit like marmite. I always wanted to play a Fire Pro game during the last decades, as I had heard they were really something special. As a wrestling fan, I was up for trying any wrestling game. But they always seemed only available via import. So in 2018, we finally got a straight UK release for Fire Pro on the PS4. I must say, I'm a little disappointed. You can make pretty authentic caws but the system is not as user friendly as it could of been. I found the gameplay itself disjointed. I certainly couldn't play it for long sessions. Fire Pro has it's moments, but I wasn't blown away. When it comes to retro wrestling games, you can't beat the N64 classics.

It can quickly turn from a laugh in to a ragefest. When you're mucking about with friends, it's all roses. But get to far invested and it can have some folk screaming. There are some issues which do get up your nose, like team games and trolling etc but there is fun to be had. I think it's great for kids especially. It's just a shame that the troll brigade could onboard and spoiled this **** they always do. That's the nature of online gaming. The 5 wins in a row trophy is also absolutely despicable.

This was a disaster because of the bugs. But going further, the soul-destroying womens showcase and Road To Glory story mode really sap the life out of this. Then there's the roster, which aside with the exciting inclusions of The Fiend and Hulk Hogan, has been trimmed so much only a fraction of the legends remain. The game itself is simply tweaked version of the previous editions. Once the major bugs were addressed, it was playable. But the way it was promoted, released and patched was absolutely unforgivable. Avoid.

The chronicles of a slob who sits on his sofa (or working at a burger restaurant), dreaming of ways to end his life. This sounds all very sinister, but it's done in a comical slapstick manner. Each level is unique and it feels quite fun at that start. And then as the game goes on, the levels become more and more 'think outside the box' which makes you just want to finish the level asap. The game is original but I just didn't find myself enjoying it at times. Sometimes it felt like a chore.

A strategic survival game which is influenced by John Carpenter's classic The Thing. This is not a bad effort but the 'all characters die and you lose everything' approach can be off putting. Once you get the knack of the characters' traits and techniques, you can comfortably play through the first couple of levels, and then it can become a little tricky. The level set up is also random with each play. It could of been so much better, but saying that, it's by no means a bad game. But with the lack of save ability, it can be a bit of an effort to start again from scratch. It's novel, but just not that special.

Wow. What a mess. I was sceptical about this when I watched the trailer, but as a fan of the Zodiac story, I purchased it during a sale. This is a really buggy game which never really gets going. The graphics are meant to be stylish and retro, but they just look poor and unfinished. The voice acting is bad too. There much bensome serious glitches as one of thentrophies seems unobtainable. There are some aspects of the story which briefly hold your attention, but this game is so flawed it's hard to be invested. A shame.

Whilst not as in depth as the GTA games, Scarface is a brilliant open worlder which oozes the feel of the film. It's a continuation of the original movie as a result of an alternative ending. Highly enjoyable and holds it's own against the established brand in open world crime gaming.

This has similarities with Jaws: Unleashed (ps2) but this includes obvious improvements and a better upgrade system. This was good fun but a little short. The major drawback is it's total lack of replay value. No DLC and no multiplayer really make it limited. The trophies are also easy and getting platinum is no problem. It's a good laugh, but only worth buying at reduced sale price.

Admittedly, I was put off by the news of a change to a first-person style. I had grown accustomed to RE being third-person for two decades, and as this was the latest addition in the core RE series, I was concerned. I am happy to say that this game is brilliant. Very gruesome and legitimately scary, the new direction works like a charm. A superb game.

For what it ****'s not bad. At £1.99 full price, you're not expecting Call Of Duty. This is a non-stop fast walk game, in which the player must avoid/kill zombie hordes. Although the graphics are of low quality, there is a somewhat creepy atmosphere. There are some balancing and collusion issues which are irrit. The dogd and crawling zombies shouldn't be included. Also the long grass areas are a headache. But for a couple of quid, we shouldn't complain too much.

This is not bad. It's basically a Hotline Miami with police. The cut scene dialogue can be amusing. The auto-target is absolutely essential, without it manual targeting is horrendous. Also, you really have to have a couple of maxed out cops to complete the later levels. Short and sweet, but some targeting issues etc can be frustrating.

A solid 7. Would of been an 8 if there was more replay value. Once you've cleared all the trophies, everything is all a bit familiar. Would of benefitted from having more than one house/location with a story mode. That being said, this is usually on offer and well worth the small price. Addictive and fun, it's also filled with easter eggs for horror film fans. Recommended.

An enjoyable survival experience. Not as good (and no way as sinister) as The Forest, but by no means a bad game. Passive mode (whilst not being 100% passive, lion fish) was preferable as the hidden snakes and sharks could be irritating. Not without fault, but fond memories and recommended.

This is a very solid Jaws game. Playing as the shark, it's an open worlder with storyline elements influenced by the original franchise. Authentic and fun.
