There was a time when AAA games, in particular Ubisoft games, used to be absolute hits. Hold Ubisoft to their own standards from 15 years ago. Zero, zero points for this game. Do not lower your standards. Consumers must know their rights. Do not buy an inferior product, do not reward Ubisoft's mediocrity.

Only negative is that this remake has changed the dark and gritty mood of the originals. The originals felt more mature and dark, with the characters being more stoic and calm, which felt a lot more epic and believable.

This is one of those cases where the remake would have been perfect if not for some minor yet intentional flaws. Bloober have been making some unnecessary and unwanted "modifications" for the "modern audiences". Fidelity to the originals must take priority, always.

All dialog choices are a variation between "bland" and "polite". Very lame. A tame, boring, highly sanitized, restrictive RPG experience - everyone just likes you. No real evil choices like Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Bland.

This game is an insult to Mass Effect. The graphics are impressive. The combat is fantastic. The multiplayer gameplay is decent. Everything else is a disgrace. The story is dull. The lore is dull (they took the brilliant Mass Effect Trilogy lore and somehow managed to mess up everything). The characters are dull. The atmosphere is meh. Andromeda is far from the quality of Mass Effect 1-3. Buy it on sale - maybe 80%+. It's not an absolutely terrible game per se and it has some redeeming factors, but the ME Trilogy deserves better than this.

I heard the game was racist, which I didn't believe. Got it on a sale. Conclusion: It is definitely racist - but the racism is coated by a veil of logical thought. The characters are flawed. You can sense that they have their own reasons for believing their ideologies. The game has a racist agenda. The views it holds on race speak of a disdain towards light-skinned people in general. The character Malik refers to himself as "A light-skinned disappointment." It's pretty well-written within the context, but the theme is clearly about fair skin being portrayed as a privilege, branding failure as a fair-skinned person as especially disappointing. Why is this game perpetuating social expectations based on race? "[Malik:] White if the white man decides to close the internet and everything we kept on it is gone?" - It's hilarious that my own character is racist. However, the passage is thought-provoking as it highlights the gigantic power that few corporations have the power to shut down your entire social circle on the internet. The only problem I have with this is the association with white people, as it's a clearly racist theme. "But, you can't go around blaming the white man for everything". In response, Malik says: "Are you one of those "white people aren't that bad" types?" "Haha what? No. I mean, not really." Great, the one sane character has to roll back on her statement. For one second, I thought the writing wasn't so racist. This game is racist with a twist, as it's definitely not what I was expecting. The writers have put in some thoughts to make every racist passage make sense. I hope that one day they become aware that antagonizing white people is not the way to go about for social harmony.

The developer, Broadsword, censors players on the internet forum. They are refusing to release story expansions, and if they release new story missions, like half of them are not voiced. This is trashy and completely unworthy of Star Wars: The Old Republic. This game used to be great but now there is literally no reason to subscribe anymore. This game has become a Microtransaction hellhole and it offers no new awesome story expansions to be worth the subscription. I recommend that you subscribe once to get access to the amazing stories. And then, unsubscribe and enjoy your permanent access to the amazing 8 class stories and expansions! You'll have more than your money's worth.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

The soundtrack is average and the level design lacks character compared to the Original Trilogy - and the characters are weird and not as stoic and mysterious as the originals - but it offers the best gameplay in the Crash Bandicoot series by far. Many, many playable characters and gameplay depth. It IS about time for a Crash Bandicoot 5, we're waiting! Coco could have had a distinct movement set from Crash. Making Crash and Coco completely interchangeable has devalued both of them in my opinion.

Cyberpunk 2077 has taught all of us a good lesson - never pre-order any games, PERIOD. No matter how amazing the company has been previously, any company is capable of messing up its release. Cyberpunk 2077 may have been patched and improved significantly post release, but this will never excuse the awful decision to release it in a broken state. For context, police chases weren't even a thing in Cyberpunk 2077.

The old funny humor is gone, replaced with something that feels generic and soulless, jokes like they were written by an AI. It made me miss the first 4 Ratchet and Clank games a lot. Those were truly the best of Ratchet and Clank games. Gameplay and graphics are awesome though. You'll definitely be entertained, but this isn't what I wanted.

Player choices, choices of good and evil, edgy humor, and fun! There is nothing to dislike here - except perhaps the lack of cinematic cutscenes. The worst thing about New Vegas is that there probably won't be a better Fallout game anytime in the near future.

Welcome to the worst ending in gaming history, where this game not only ruins its entire plotline, but the plots of the 2 previous amazing games too. It is also the first BioWare game showing signs of BioWare's growing decline. For example, player renegade choices have become much more tame. ME2 allowed you to side with Cerberus as a renegade, now Cerberus are hardcoded as the bad guys because they're indoctrinated. ME3 is still a great game overall and offers lots of entertainment value until the ending, but the cons will always be a stain on this otherwise completely perfect trilogy.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Pros: - Mythology: Ancient Gods and Goddesses, the Blight, and some other legends are explored in greater detail in this game, with some big surprises. - Story & Lore: It's a BioWare game. And even though it may fall short to Dragon Age: Origins or the Mass Effect trilogy, it offers an immersive tight plot and rich lore. - Dialog wheel: A neat upgrade from Dragon Age: II, with some special dialog options if you purchase Inquisition perks, e.g. 'ancient history'. Cons: - The 'war table' is atrocious. - Side quests mostly boring. - Horse controls are a nightmare. - Movement feels clunkier and less responsive than in Dragon Age: 2. - Open World is too big and boring - e.g. collecting shards is one of the most boring things I can imagine. - Few important decisions. - There are way too many characters in this game. They are somewhat well-written, but still much less unique and memorable than in Dragon Age: Origins. - Main antagonist is boring. - No ethical dilemmas are explored. The story is too linear. Where are the tough decisions, BioWare? - Collecting 'power' to unlock main story missions is boring. You are forced to do boring side quests. That might be just me, and I know this is going to piss off a lot of Dragon Age fans, but I also don't like the 'tactical' combat. I would love a more action-based combat system. 'Tacical' RPGs do their best to always remind you that you're simply playing a game. I want the gameplay to feel more like a cutscene - the more action-based and the more immersive, the better. This is why I loved Mass Effect 2 and 3, as well as Red Dead: Redemption 2. And more Dragon Age fans might kill me for this, but why, exactly, do I need to level up and control all 4 characters? In the end, it's the protagonist who makes all the in-game choices - YOU are the protagonist. You are NOT the NPCs. It ruins the immersion, having to manually control your party members for 'tactical' advantage. One major plus though - Inquisition is still much better than The Veilguard.

The ME3 ending and many other problems with ME3 have not been addressed or solved at all. This trilogy has perhaps the worst ending in all of gaming history, and no effort has been made to mitigate this. The ME3 ending has been widely criticized on social media by gamers - and it has robbed me of my desire to ever replay this trilogy again. After all, why should I spend 3 games caring for the world and carefully making my choices, growing to love all these characters and the lore and the story, only to be slapped in the face by the worst ending in gaming history? The ME3 ending is nothing short of a disaster. Unfortunately, BioWare have not acknowledged that. Furthermore, BioWare have not always been accurate to the originals, cutting content and subjecting this remake to unnecessary "modernization". An entire DLC of ME1 is missing, and the ME3 multiplayer has been removed. Kelly Chambers' model in Mass Effect 2 is different, and several scenes with Miranda have been censored as well. Modders can do a better job than BioWare in some cases. Modders have provided alternative endings as well as restored content from the originals.
