Dragon Age: The Veilguard

This is not a Dragon Age game. Going from a game that has a dark-ish fantasy world full of prejudices that made world seem realistic to a woke high fantasy makes no sense to me. They did a retcon on the whole world on Dragon Age that totally ruins the feel. If they wanted to make a Drag Age they should have just made a new IP with a new world. Redesign choses in races, Elfs, Qunari, Drakspawn makes no sense. We used to have very unique races with a special feel to them, and now we got Humans with Ears, Humans with Horns and generic Zombies. Combat is of an average Asian action game, and totally unfriendly to a DA lore, since Warriors and Rogues have spell-like abilities, which makes no sense in lore-wise and in comparison to previous games. Story is: I am hero hunting important bad guys from the start, unlike in the previous games where you worked on resolving down to earth problems and building up to something. Now all is about, its bad elf god-mages fault. Whoever wrote this has no respect for old games / lore and his storyline equals one of Mario games. Graphics are good, gameplay is ok, not Dragon Age but ok. Story is trash, showing woke propaganda down your throat is another minus. Removing all choses from previous game is total **** and shows that they did not care about previous games at all, just wanted to keep IP to make new sales, if they made a new IP it would be a disaster.

The game itself is pretty solid, with a few bugs time to time, It has really nice graphics with pretty models. Storyline is good in both campaigns even if I personally liked elven one more. Now AI is the worst problem in the game, I do not know which person in a sane mind would allow that AI for a STRATEGY game. They could not make AI any good, so to even the odds they have allowed AI to chat... ye gr8, dont get me wrong, game is easy to beat, but knowing that AI does not have fog of war and it knows where your fow is, so it will send flying units to capture your undefended cities and they will be unseen coz AI is going to use your fow as a cover.... rly smart... bravo.... that ruined the whole game for me, I like strong AI in strategy games, but I can not stand cheating AI, its rly sending the right message to the crowd.

This is a good turn based game for all the fans of turn based rpg games, and its ok for the casual population which might like to try something different then usual. Game looks very good both map and combat, the styleis nice but it lacks in diversity, every handgun looks the same, every rifle looks and sounds the same, I would like to see diversity there. It has awesome storyline and its fun to play from the start till the end. It has average sound and there is a lot to read, but commentary of the Death is amazing. Card and luck system is somewhat unique and its a nice addition. Game can be a bit buggy.

Its a good game, not as gr8 as Pillars of Eternity, but pretty good in its own right. I am personally not fan of that type of graphics, and even if combat system and character development are similar to PoE, I like "typical D&D" character dev/spells/classes etc etc, like NWN,PoE, and older stuff. Example: I hated Legends of the Sword Coast coz its character dev, which is very similar to Tiranny. The story is good, and the UI is awesome, I like spellcrafting but still, I would pick PoE system any time. I like the game in general, the only rly negative thing that I have to say about Tyranny is .....loading..smallzone..loading..smallzone...loading.

You can only enter a game menu while on a map, so you play the game, get arrested for something . . . well you cant load your game, nor enter game menu till you escape . . . The most holy thing in video games is that if you press esc game menu appears. Otherwise its a M&B with ships, nothing less nothing more

First of all I have to tell that it is not a bad game, but it is not what it should have been, and it does not live up to some other forgotten realms games. It has an average gameplay, but it would have been a way better if they made it as it should have been, like Neverwinter Nights 2, still someone somewhere thought it would be a good idea to implement a new gameplay, and its not bad, but its not good. World looks good, but characters are . . . ugly . . . you cant make a pretty character, you cant even make a descant looking character, and whatever you make, it looks like its related to every other character in the game. Game is not working all that well... but its far from unplayable. Official storylines are good, and there is the multiplayer part. The worst problem with this game for me is that it DOES NOT have a soul, nor that attention to detail, no npc in the game will comment on your race or class, its like All of my party, including myself are saying a bad things about a drow as a race to a drow npc . . . and I am playing a Drow . . . rly . . . no1 notices . . . black skinned evil elf . . .

If we look it just as a video game, now in 2015 its a good video game, but its not a good mmo. Let me explain: swtor is probably one of the best "video games" of all mmorpg games, but its not good mmo game at all, coz of multiple reasons: Its free to play game in which you have to subscribe in order to do anything, Do not advertise it as a f2p if its p2p, Its content is a bit simple, very interesting but still simple, and every single thing in the game is made primary for EA to make money on and not for players to enjoy. PvP is a lot of fun, but I do not think that they ever cared about balance in this game, well I understand, it takes a lot of money to research a proper balance and EA being EA did not see it as a priority to spend money on. As for PvE content its fun, it makes you feel like you are playing single player or co-op game. Now its not all that bad, if you want to pay for sub in free to play game, and then pay again for cartel coins: It has awesome storyline for every class, and additional storyline for every planet and expansion, it has Starfighter PvP and Starship PvE, those Flashpoints(Dungeons) are real fun and character customization is nice, even if 70% things ingame are cosmetic.

This game shows a lot of promise and its addictive a lot, but also it has a lot of problems. In my opinion this was supposed to be a mix between Crusader Kings and Total War to put it roughly. But it turned out to be a "Strategy" game, it has no tactics what so ever in combat, its little more then browser games combat, why in the 7 hells didn't you make a combat like for example Hegemony series, it looks like it anyway. Another problem I found is AI for, well everything, but the trade when u set a route, they can do a good job, but they can **** you up, I was starting to think that whole AI was working against me. The merchant kept hoarding the goods, or just buying it back after they sell it, I have no idea why there was no detailed system for trades: For Example- On each rout I can set how much barrels of "something" I am willing to buy at one town, and then to sell at next one.. etc etc.. you got the point. Animals are a bit stronger then they should be, and battles last far too long by games timeline, 100vs100 fighting for 3 weeks... gr8.. And my biggest problem: Who ever did artwork of St. Sophia(Hagia Sophia) is either some1 who hates Orthodox Christians or a total idiot, coz Orthodox version of it did not have those god damn pointy towers, and it had cross on it. Still I like the game, and I like it a lot, just if some1 were to fix the battles and the god damn trade AI. Well trade can be worked out, but still it can be **** from time to time.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March - Part 1

Awesome addition to an even more awesome game. Pillars of Eternity is 10/10 in my book, but since we are talking about The White March - Part 1, I have a few things I would like to point out. I love new companions and new territory and the storyline itself is fine, my biggest problem is that it takes place in a middle of the game and I myself do not often play games twice coz when I play the game, especially rpg game I like to connect with my character and complete 100% of the game if possible, but this expansion suggests that we should start a new game... and its supposed to have 3 parts. I myself just loaded a save which I had just b4 the last dungeon. The second thing that I dislike is that it comes in multiple parts, coz imagine a guy starting a new game for the 1st time, now he has to w8 till all 3 parts go out b4 he can complete his game. Still this PoE is one of the best RPG games which came out in last few years.

I myself like the game, but I did not have anything else to play. Graphics are cartoonish but they are fine, I did not find problems with fps. It has nice nordic-based storyline but I will never forgive them for not putting map of the city, I **** with coordination. Don't get me wrong, its not awesome game but its playable and I am having fun playing it, its worth a try. I did not like gameplay a lot, just not my thing, and it pisses me off coz camera is bound to the characters, I would like it more if it had free camera as well as full pause not just timed slowdown. I like crafting system but I do not like character dev a lot, its fine, but could be done better.

Hegemony III: Clash of the Ancients

Game itself is average, it has some good moments but its utterly imbalanced, while you and other factions are pretty balanced amongst yourselves, bandits are too overpowered, they spawn like every 5 mins, at the beginning of the game they will spawn t2 units which your t1 units can not hope to defeat, and if you destroy camps they will just spawn one again in a few mins, so you must capture all of the camps, and that cost a lot. Game can be laggy time to time, but all in all its playable graphic vise. Artwork is the best part of the game by far. Graphics: 7/10 ~ for a rts Strategic Combat 7/10 ~ not much in depth tactics, but tactical map is awesome Music and art 9/10 ~ loving it Balance 3/10 ~ factions balanced, neutral bandits too op Is it playable? Yes, but I would stick to Total War games. Is it time consuming? Hell yes, and thats a good thing. Would I play it again? No, I usually do not play a lot of games twice, especially not this one. I suggest that you check it out if you want to play a strategy game and do not have anything else to play.

Demonicon is also part of Dark eye, but unlike most new dark eye games it is not developed by Deadelic, which is a bit strange, game itself is average rpg with good storyline, you have multiple choices which influence the storyline but autosave system is god damn annoying.

1st of all Blackguards is part of Dark Eye series which is appealing only to D&D fans, and combat system is based on tabletop games which makes it a bit harder to understand if you never played any tabletop, drakensang or neverwinter. Storyline of the game is superb mostly coz you are not some hero who set off a farm to save the world, you just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, Gameplay itself is good if you are fan of turn based games, and if you are not, you should not even consider playing it unless you are rly into Dark Eye. Graphics are average but still had 5x more fun playing this then for example Banner Saga, I am fan of Vikings but I rly must ask myself a question why there were close to non viking games b4 2011. If you are fan of D&D, Dark eye, tabletops and turn based games you should play this, if you are not, you just wont understand it.
