Great game, fun in depth maps, gunplay is realistic but still you are auto healed when not shot at which I really like. AI is good. Voice acting is good. Surprisingly low download size. There is not a huge variety of weapons and no USSR but instead two anglo factions which I think is kind of weird. As far as I know you can't switch faction in game and that's also a con.
Uninteresting dialogues, boring missions, mission replayability is not good checkpoints are missing, more boring city than GTA SA, not a special map/story.
Good AI, good graphics and repetitive gameplay. Especially in 'research' most players choose the same options over and over again because the other options are rubbish. The fact that the game has a certain meta makes it repetitive. The base game is dull and you need mods to make it playable.
You do the same things over and over again, there is no in depth politics system and the game is mostly about optimizing things. New discoveries are only done in the beginning; later on it gets repetitive.
Gameplay wise and graphics wise nothing too special. It's just a more modern version of AOE2. Overall the game lacks a UI that immerses you into the game. It looks too modern. Gameplay-wise they added some new features but these are also not really groundbreaking.
It's easier than green hell. Graphics are great. Performance is okay. Survival aspect is not fun to do for alot of hours. The most amount of fun time you can get out of this is 100 hours.
Toxic playerbase, alot of grinding, lag and poor performance, aimbot and other ingame modifications. The survival aspect is too easy without other players.
It's great fun and gameplay wise one of if not the best. In terms of modifications it's the most expandable game. User friendly and quick to learn. Two things: It's skyblock was ruined by OP Skyblock and survival isn't difficult without other players.
Still a big mod community and an array of ways to play the game. The graphics are not too bad for such an old game. The AI is not very smart and that's a big negative.
A better graphics version of a very old game. It was clearly not the graphics that defined aoe but the gameplay & AI so this game focused on the wrong aspect.
A game that's repetitive and easy. Team morale and chemistry don't really matter. It feels as if team rating is everything. Bad graphics. You can't control players in a meaningful, fun and smooth way.
The combination of RTS and FPS was a great idea. Combat has an RNG mechanism but it's okay. It's not P2W and all weapons are somewhat balanced. The only thing is the developers are not releasing anything worthwhile and haven't in the past few years. The community is fun because there are clans. It's one of the few FPS games with decent sized maps.
Overall pretty complex and unforgiving. Realism is good but this game over did it. Crafting is not intuitive and menus are sloppy. The world and mechanics are pretty boring. You can't see anything well because of the many trees.
You have some repetitive building going on and a bit of a lazy AI but apart from that it really feels like a strategy game with alot of different tactics and playstyles. It does get repetitive and has a more shallow gameplay than AOE2 & AOE4.
