While I understand everyone who doesn't like this game, I disagree. Yes, the story is very bad for Fire Emblem standards, however the gameplay might just be the best one in the series. The graphics look amazing, even though the artstyle is controversial, I liked it. Emblems are fun to use and need a lot of calculation to be used efficiently. The OST is great and the battle animations have never been better. The Somniel is a way better feature than the monastery, since you aren't forced to be there in 50% of your gametime like in Three Houses. The new Characters on the other hand feel kinda boring and Supports aren't great. You can really feel that the Gameplay was made by people who love Fire Emblem. The Story and the characters however, are not.
I am sorry, but this is breaking the concept of Fates. The inclusion **** route is completely against the idea of Fates. The Story might even be worse than the story of Conquest, it hurts, especially if you enjoyed the other two games. The gameplay is decent, but this is mainly due to the Fire Emblem formula being awesome to begin with. Map design isn't great and you just get way too many (under-leveld) units.
While being a lot easier than Conquest, it has a good difficulty spike towards the end of the game. The first 20 chapters are a cakewalk though. However, this doesn't mean this game is bad by any means. It can be a very good game to begin with the series. It can be entertaining for intermediate players on lunatic difficulty as well. Solid game
Definitely the best Fire Emblem Fates Game. The story is arguably the worst, however, it is terrible in all of Fates. The Gameplay of Conquest is great though. Even on normal Difficulty, it is not a cakewalk. But even on the hardest difficulty, it is beatable, however, you cannot switch your brain off once, this will be punished. If you expect a good story, this Game is not for you. If you want entertaining Turn based Strategy though, it is a fantastic experience.
To be honest, I haven't finished the game yet, but I have a hard time doing so. The Combat, while decent, isn't quite as good as the grid system of the First Game and XCOM, arguably the Idol of the Mario + Rabbids Games. But Problems don't stop there. The charm of the first game vanished almost completely. The Voice Actors did a good job, but it really hurts the humor of the game. In terms of Graphics and Soundtrack, they did a fantastic job, but sadly, the game just is worse than its prequel in almost every way. You can still have fun with the game, but it sadly couldn't fulfill my expectations. Maybe my thoughts on it will change once I'm finished
Legendary game. Sadly it's just a bit worse that AW2 and DS, so there is no reason to play this game anyomore (Except for Advance Campagin, but seriousely, you should enjoy your live)
Fantastic Game. The awesome storytelling and the fantastic soundtrack of the original Star Wars Movies are brilliant. Even the sequels are enjoyable. Yes, you read this last sentence correctly. The Level Design is very good (Except in Episode 1, The Phantom Menance) and it's great fun to unlock all the characters and ships. Cyberbricks are very satisfying to collect, but it doesn't get boring getting them, since the puzzles are unique (in most cases). The graphics and the performence is amazing (except on the nintendo switch). At the end of the day, I have no issues but the levels of Episode 1 and the performance of the nintendo switch edition. 9/10
