I was very much looking forward to playing this game, and put it in my collection because I love physical games. But little did I know, this game requires you to be online to initialize it to even be able to play it. What monumental lobotomitic brain dead moron came up with this abhorrently vile idea?! 45 dollars for this?! I don’t care how good the game is, this is completely inexcusable and unacceptable, and yet predictable, typical behavior from game publishers. I love 7 days to die, but I felt disrespected and disgusted by this new feature.
I tried this game out, and it’s a lot of fun to play. Has some bugs, but nothing too bad. It’s like dayz and Minecraft put together, thats the only way I can put it. Can’t wait for the ps5 version to release, hopefully it has better graphics and better mechanics than this version like was shown in a video.
1.3gb on disc?! And 77gb for everything?! HELL NO!!! To buying this glorified digital trash. The ps5 blu ray can take up to 100gb, there is absolutely no excuse as to why there is no game on disc. This game is definitely not worth $70, and yet they had the nerve to try to charge 80? Definitely not worth it, I would rather burn the $70 than to waste it on this worthless garbage that this publisher would even dare to pass as a physical release.
I been buying 2 or 3 versions of everything, and I can definitely say that this is better than the ps4 version. So on the ps4 version, when you play the standard edition, you can’t use those saves for the following if you bought that complete edition on disc. But you can on the Xbox version. On ps4, you have to start a new game. But on Xbox, you don’t. I only do reviews on physical games, no digital. Or unless it’s a digital game disguised as a physical game, then I take a dump on it like always.
It’s playable, but it’s not as good as the Xbox one version. You can’t transfer your saves to the complete edition on ps4 unfortunately. Every console has one trade off or another. But it is a great game, I’ll give it that.
The update is finally out! You can now play the crew 2 offline. The reason for the 4 out of 10, is that this game was created as an online only game and was never offline, and having to update it to play it offline. But I was curious on how the game plays, and I love the game. The next crew will get a higher rating, if the game is complete on disc, and if it don’t require internet.
Absolute gorgeous remaster, but with one issue. So let’s say the the ps5 servers shut down at some point, and you can’t update this game because of one game breaking bug, what happens? The game would still be playable at least, but you can’t get past a point in the game, I forgot what quest it was that it kept crashing at the same exact spot. I play these games without updating them, and see how good they play. This was good at first, but then the crash happened. If you have horrible internet or no internet, I recommend sticking with the ps4 version. I’ll check what quest it was, and then I’ll update this review later. The reason for a 5 out of 10, and not a zero, is because the game is complete, but has a game breaking bug in it. But I do love playing horizon, unfortunately I took this game back and stuck with the ps4 version instead. The ps4 version gets an 8 out of 10, because the bugs are negligible, but noticeable, and you can complete the game without it crashing. Honestly, I think this publisher is losing it’s touch. But hopefully, it won’t be nearly as bad as zenimax, Bethesda or Microsoft, and a few other abhorrent companies like Ubisoft all releasing digital key disc garbage that you have to download. You might think that it’s no big deal, but it is. Think about it, you pay $70 for a game you have to download? Even if you bought the physical version. Those companies are ripping you off, and waiting to rob you, as in stealing the game from your digital library. I do hope Sony knows better than to push garbage like Microsoft is currently dumping out the rear, like an overpriced coaster, and even an overpriced plastic future paperweight that cost close to $700 now. I know Microsoft has nothing to do with this game, but all I’m saying is that hopefully Sony won’t make the same mistakes. But I won’t be surprised if they do.
COMPLETELY WORTHLESS… why should I waste $40 on a disgusting digital copy disguised as a physical game That I can’t keep forever? This is the perfect example of a stingy publisher, not putting the entire game on disc. The ps5 blu ray takes up to 100gb of data, and there’s only around 20?! And of course the game takes over 120gb after everything. But here’s on simple question, why be too cheap to include 2 discs? It would’ve been worth more than $40 to me if there was the entire game in the package. There is absolutely no excuse as to why it requires a download. This is why I switched over to ps5, games are far more complete than this dumpster fire you try to push as a physical game. Look at horizon forbidden west complete edition, that has 2 discs, no download required, now That was worth $60 to me. And don’t get me started on the outer worlds 2, that game is not even worth $70, let alone 80 That it was going to go for. Honestly, I don’t mind a game costing 80, only if the game is complete in the package. I understand games cost a lot, but it does not justify a half baked piece of garbage being released and costing even $40. This practice should be illegal, and the publisher should be forced to recall every half baked trash that released and do it properly. I once enjoyed Xbox, but after everything That happened, to me the series x was dba “dead before arrival”. I never bought a series x, and never really want to, after my experience with the Xbox one. And the later Xbox exclusives that released after 2020 because of this same, lame manufactured issue with future coasters like this.
This last update was nothing but disimproving, I was able to play these maps before the ragnarok update, now I can’t play it because it requires me to sign in, and I can’t sign in because my ps5 was banned for I don’t know what reason. The maps use to part of the updates before, but now it’s a dlc?! And I’m talking about the maps I was able to play on before this useless update reared it’s ugly head out, ark is now just about dead to me, I would give this a negative 10 if possible!
I waited over a decade for this?! Atari did a lot better with the franchise, but nacon ruined it, it ruined my hype for this game, adding a solo mode but still requiring internet? A level up system to even be able to buy the car you want? Thats really insulting, and what’s also insulting, is that it was made buy people that have absolutely no passion for games, Good thing I rented it and not wasted a penny on this overhyped trash, even a rental was a waste for this game, solar crown was so bad, it made me feel unfortunate to be alive at that point, it’s going to be like what happened to the crew, if you have a disc, then congats! You have a future coaster! this is the absolute worst tdu of the franchise, I’m insulted just by looking at the cover art, seeing cars you might not be able to get because of how stingy the game is at paying for races, only good thing was the graphics, nothing else was good about the game, I think even a caveman could do a better job at making this, it’s not even worth 99 cents, I think they should pay you to buy this game the way it was made, the company that made this is absolutely abhorrent, it’s disgusting seeing games like this hit store shelves, if I ran a store, this game would not be on my shelf, I would tell nacon to take the game and stuff it!
There needs to be a remaster for Xbox and ps4, in some ways this game was a little disappointing, but there is one thing gta 4 doesn’t have that gta 5 has, an infestation of predatory micro transactions, this game seems a little bleak, gta 3 had more colors than this, but gta 5 really makes me miss playing gta 4, gta 4 did teach me something, it’s how much worse the gta series can get after every release, and gta 5 has only proven that, though there are fun activities in gta 5 story mode, but that’s it, after writing about gta 5, it made me appreciate gta 4 a little more on how a real gta game was designed, because in some way gta 5 felt like a knockoff.
This re re release (that’s a mouthful) of gta 5 has absolutely nothing to offer, good thing I only rented it, and tried it before slamming what I hated about it, only thing I do like about it is that it is updated with some small negligible content added in story mode, like the monster truck in war stock cache and carry, but if you payed full price for the game you would most likely end up bitterly disappointed, after buying gta 5 for the ps4 I thought there was going to be more single player content, but that was 2014, I ended up disappointed with the ps4 version after finding out that single player dlc was scrapped, at that point I didn’t feel like I sold my soul, I felt more like I handed my soul over to the devil on a silver platter with greens on the side, gta 5 has become an empty soulless disgrace that the stingy publisher has the audacity to charge full price for a game released again to milk a cow that looks bone dry and dead, or maybe the penny pinchers are wringing the dead cow and stuffing it in the juicer for what pennies might be left?
i like the 360 version better, you can sell your cars offline like on the first forza horizon but not on the Xbox one version, I will never understand why that feature was taken out, the Xbox one version is not as glitchy and has better graphics, but has glitchy gearshift audio.
$60 for a future coaster?! I have xbox one and tried this game on release, and there is one word to describe this game, scam! This is not the complete game, it is only around 20gb on disc, and the rest is needed to download from online, it does not say it anywhere on the case that it requires download, this is why I am not getting a series x anytime, an online account being required on Xbox is unacceptable, but a game that requires a full download that could have been avoided with a label (download required) but has nothing on it completely breaks the trust, I absolutely hate stingy publishers that have the audacity to charge $60 for an empty game disc that gives no warning on requiring a download, at least hogwarts legacy has some warning on it but still gave it a zero but did enjoy the game, my point is that instead of wasting people’s time wasting money on this offensive sneaky all digital future garbage, make the game full or add a label in the front of the case so it can be avoided like the plague it is, good game, definitely better than gran turismo, but it is nonetheless a scam.
Love the game, but it needed an update to make gameplay more pleasant, it is a full game without the update and playable offline but is quite buggy without it, nothing game breaking, I’m mostly offline by choice, I rarely use the internet, I always test games offline before updating them online to see how they play, anyone that has bad or no internet, this game is playable without an update but with texture bugs if you don’t mind that kind of thing, I would stick with zero dawn complete edition if I had no internet, at least it’s already updated with game add ons like the frozen wilds.
Any game that has a mandatory update, or download to even be able to play or get passed the prologue, or does not contain the full game on the disc gets an automatic zero in my book, I rented this game and it was a great game, I absolutely loved it, but I hate the company that made it, this game is definitely not worth $60, if the complete game was on the disc or had 2 discs to complete it, it would’ve gotten a 10, I want to buy it but not at this price, I’ll wait until it ends up in a bargain bin for $5 or less, i won’t be paying full price for a future coaster.
After the last update I wasn’t disappointed, I shredded the other copy I had of this game because of that offensively useless can’t save with dirty cheats feature, but now you can save with it active, I heard about the update and borrowed the game and tried it again, the reason for the 5 out of 10 is because the cheats should have come standard with the game, doesn’t feel the same as saints row 2, but it is quite enjoyable to play now.
