The critics are sadly mistaken about this movie like no other movie I've ever seen. This movie deserves a strong 8 rating as a comedy. It has so many funny scenes in it and the overall comedy between the two main character is strong enough to land a 7 for this movie. I gave this movie a 10 for the simple fact of balancing what the critics are saying. They must have some personal issues with something in the movie because the movie is quite funny.

I walked in expecting an ancient classic but I was severely disappointed. The story line is weak and short sighted and the cast of characters was very poorly cast. Many people in the movie shouldn't have been there and the story line is very dull and extremely fast paced. You don't have time to enjoy any scene for the proper amount of time. There are no innovative action scenes that make you really enjoy the imagery. The attitudes of people in the movie in regards to legends is such a turnoff for a movie like this. You walk in to see mythical stories and mythical imagery and instead you get lingo that sounds like it's from 2014 and people who disregard the legend of Hercules. "Literalists" have ruined a great mythical story and one of my favorites; Hercules. This movie seemed to be entirely made to disregard the legend of Hercules instead of telling a beautiful modern adaptation of the story which many people enjoy. I gave it a 3/10 because The Rock was a childhood favorite wrestler of mine. But other than that, this movie failed in every sense.

The movie is a cult classic and that's because it is very memorable and a great time to watch. The comedic duo Will Farrel and Chris Kattan are hilarious together and the movie also has a very distinct and memorable soundtrack with such hits like What Is Love? and Be My Lover. If you're around with your buddies and you're looking for a movie to have fun with, laugh hard at, and give your guys a whole series of inside jokes, watch this movie. Highly recommended.

This movie is fun to watch when it comes on television. It's a cult classic and that's because like 'Friday' or 'Night At The Roxbury' it delivers a good sense of what it was created for, in this case, mystery with a comedic plot. I give it a 10 for the simple reason that the last time I've seen this movie was 8 years ago and I still remember it. It's a cult classic because it's so memorable.

Not much to say regarding this movie. It's a comedy movie and a very funny one at that. The first film (21 Jump Street) was definitely stronger as a comedy film however this doesn't leave you disappointed either. Bits of left-leaning propaganda (like every comedy movie) incorporated into the movie which might turn off some audiences who don't share likewise opinions. However it is definitely a funny movie and Jonah Hill/Channing Tatum give a comedic duo performance as good as the Belushi/Akroyd films from the 70s/80s. It's a fun movie to watch with a night out with your friends/girlfriend.

The movie is fantastic, needless to say. As a person who grew up during the same time frame, it was like seeing bits of my childhood come to life and leading into college which I am in now. The authenticity is perfect as it was shot during the actual years it's depicting in the film. However the political propaganda could have been excluded from the film for the sake of social/political differences. There were a few bits of social propaganda as well such as the depiction of a "confederate flag waving anti-democrat southerner." But all in all the film was fantastic. I felt the depiction of the children was a little stereotypical as well. Not every teenager is a pop-singing, drug taking, beer chugging, soulless, mumbling, whatever-attitude, sex starved, anti-parent child. In fact, most of them don't fit that depiction. I was hoping for a different and more realistic depiction of teenagers from this movie. I only give the film a 9 for those two reasons for which I usually take 3-4 marks off, however this film started with a 12 rating because of its innovation and uniqueness. Will definitely go down as a classic in cinema.

If you're a bank robber and you need a place to hide for 2 hours while the cops stop looking for you outside, you still shouldn't see this movie. The movie is a production of Seth MacFarlane in his ongoing pursuit to become a movie star. This movie reflects on the ongoing seasons of Family Guy; incoherent, cheap, laud and full of propaganda that only a few elitists on drugs might share. This movie is not even worth an illegal download. Time spent watching this movie is time wasted.

I saw the movie because my friend recommended it and the ratings were high. I wanted to see why the ratings were so high and I found out why. The movie is as solid as it comes in terms of an action movie. The movie was exciting to watch the entire time and kept you interested. Comedy was included in the movie in a very subtle and cohesive way which didn't take away from the film's serious tone overall. I cannot find a fault with the film and that is what I'm usually looking for. Tom Cruise gives a very good action performance which isn't unusual at all given his long list of action roles which he executes great. Personal feelings put aside about the guy, he is the ideal action star in today's Hollywood. If you're looking for a story, find a drama. But as far as action films go; if you're a fan of the genre, this is most likely the best action film of the year pending completion of the year.

This film was a decent comedy film which was unexpected given the put-together-quick attitude of most of Kevin Hart's films. In this film, Kevin Hart does not play the "wild short man" which has become a kind of trademark in his film comedy. His role is much calmer in tune with some of his stand-up and focuses more on subtle comedy which is always beneficial in the comedy genre. Some scenes were very unnecessary such as the dance montage scenes which didn't get an ounce of laughter from the audience in attendance. A mention regarding Elvis or someone appearing in his jumpsuit would have authenticated the film a bit more and including the Elvis classic and unofficial theme of the city 'Viva Las Vegas' would have given the movie more of an inside feeling. But all in all, the movie was funny and as a comedy movie, that is the main point here. If you're out with your girlfriend or vice versa and you're looking for a movie to talk about for the night and share a few inside jokes from, go watch it. If you're looking for a comedy classic, find something else.

The film begins with an exciting tone but quickly overdose it. The film is a 2 hour show of why Frankie Valli should be known in the world and rather than letting the Frankie Valli story prove his significance through an autobiographical film. It seems the movie is trying to ruthlessly 'convince' the audience that Frankie Valli is great and a wiseguy. Also the portrayal of Italian culture at times was deeply comical and borderline offensive. The portrayal of gangster culture and figures was deeply cliche and stereotypical and you can tell that nobody involved in writing has ever seen basic gangster classics like Goodfellas. If I had to describe the movie, it would be like a high school play about Frankie Valli with the cast being the local prep squad and drama club who have never seen a crime genre movie in their lives. Clint Eastwood fails at trying to prove himself as a director miserably. This is one movie where nobody feels lucky at the end.
