Disappointing. There are Eastwood moments, but also many moments by the numbers, implausible and unconvincing, with a poor ending. Sad way for Eastwood to go out.

It was so good up until the explosion. I would have given it an A-. But then it went off the rails and descended into stupidity. What a stupid f*****g waste. Grade: D

Great locations, but otherwise mediocre. Characters are all stereotypes, and the story is a jumble of well-worn tropes, at times predictable, at times implausible.

Greek tragedy set in Ireland, an allegory on the Irish Civil War, it's a meditation on fate, karma, isolation and detachment, superbly crafted and acted, but that pulls its punches at the end.

Painfully slow story of guilt and consequences. Everybody just plods along. Excellent cinematography, rich ambiance and sound aren't enough to save it. Might be an interesting place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

What a disappointment. What a waste. Artsy and repetitive to an absurd and distracting degree, overwhelming the good acting. I stopped caring about the characters before the halfway point. There's a good movie in there somewhere, but only if you chop out at least 30 minutes, and round out all the characters.

Flashes of excellence aren't enough to make up for an illogical, disjointed narrative that too often falls into mindless gore (slasherdom) for its own sake. Very disappointing—I was a big fan of Get Out.
