WOW, episode 7 "Beyond the **** Sea" knocks it out of the park! Easily a 9/10. Whoever wrote and directed that should have been in charge of the whole series. Wheras previous episodes were bogged down by generic fantasy tropes, predictable plot and character development and far too much silliness (hence the low score), episode 7 suddenly delivers on actual adventure, mesmerizing directing and visuals, really good action scenes, and drama - the actors can finally flex some muscles. I am actually pumped for the finale. This could have been amazing...

Star Wars for mature, intelligent fans! 9 episodes in and i'm on the edge of my seat. This is like a Tom Clancy novel, detail oriented, smart dialogues, realistic characters, an Empire that is truly threatening and uncompromising, real stakes. A glimpse into how the rest of the galaxy experiences the Empire's chokehold. Fans aren't treated like lobotomized consumers: no memberberries, no breaking canon, no spectacle without substance, no gaping plotholes, no tearing down of legacy characters. If you enjoyed Book of Boba Fett and Kenobi this is not for you. -1 point simply because it could move a bit faster.
