This game is all about wasting gamers' time, so if you have a life avoid avoid AVOID. My dislike for this turd is so bad that I've started disliking other games too. I've even started questioning that I enjoyed the original Hollow Knight which I've played through twice. I spent 25 hours trying really to like Silksong, but it's impossible. I will never spend another minute on this. Shame on the developers - I don't care if you try to fix it, you had 7 years to not fail the simple task of making an enjoyable game.

Unbalanced with boring combat - only one move that you need to excel at and time correct - deflect. Extremely great risk you're gonna get stuck on the first boss with no way forward or sideways and it's not very difficult to get to the boss. Can't recommend you buying this unless you're a true fanboy.

Could not find a good satisfying play rhythm and the rest is just bland and boring as F. Also seriously dislike games "meant" to be played with stupid distorted fisheye-lense FOVs (default) and mouse and WASD. Thank good for GamePass, I gave it an hour and then quickly uninstalled it. I'll probably check out the list of songs to see if I can make a playlist for workout or something.

Version 1.5 (feb 2022) - something is wrong with the controls - laggy and really difficult to aim using a controller. About expert settings, why the F should I have to waste time becoming an expert in setting up the controls - this type of thing should work just like so many other games manage to. Maybe this game was only made for PC mouse/keyboard ... or they put on intern doing the most vital part of the game. Also driving with inside car view is like being five years old/tall and not being able to see over the steering wheel. Played v1.5 on trial and had other issues too, but with bad such bad controls this is just a no-buy.

Overrated by people wanting to be cool drunks or something. I just fall asleep anytime I try to play it ... it's like reading Dostojevskij.

Does not deserve to have the word "Dirt" in the title at all. This game concept is so bad it made me question my love for "real" racing games. Tried during a free weekend on a PS4 Pro (with a G923 steering wheel) and also really poor performance whichever mode I set.

You mostly just click around randomly until stuff happens or not. Wouldn't call it a puzzle game as there is no satisfaction in "solving" anything.

8-5=3. -5 because I hate stupid kids (both of them) and having "companions" in games.

You can't quit when you want and continue at another time. In other words, really stupid save system. I don't have time for that kind of BS.

Something about the game gives my a constant mild headache. No performance issues and graphics look really nice - ray tracing doesn't add anything BTW. Dialogs and voices are super tedious and all I can think is 'Stop talking'. Hate that enemies respawn if you walk away from an area, e.g. just to make more bullets. At least with a controller, it's very easy to waste a lot of bullets to kill just a simple enemy, cool weapons though. Gives the impression of open-world but is far from it. Sound positioning does not work very well, not very binaural if you know what I mean. I'm gonna stop playing now after some 15 hours due to the headaches and game not being very inspiring.

Absolute masterpiece. Such a joyful and uplifting experience. It's impossible not to smile and you'll keep the smile a long time after you take off your headset. The happiness received from this game is like playing with small kittens in real life (the happiest feeling I can think of right now).

Absolutely amazing and horrifying - I love it. This is how you do it, a remake that feels just as exciting and impressive as the game I played 20 years ago on the first Playstation. This is how you do a great game justice ... everyone else should stop with the embarassing "remasters".

Sorry, but I just hate everything about this game. Story, unrewarding combat, game stutter/freezes, UI navigation, nothing happens, dieing, controller support.

Simply stunning and I especially love travelling the old Egypt just seeing the beautiful scenery and taking camera snapshots. I like the game in other ways too, Bumped up difficulty to hard to be a bit more challenging. Have never been into the AC series, so this was a nice surprise (for me). I would probably have passed on this too, but it just happened to be included when I bought my GTX 1080 TI a while back ... I only started playing recently. I only wish the camera mode didn't use so low bitrate when saving jpgs. But I tend to simultaneously use Nvidia's snapshot key, which can save lossless pngs.

Adds nothing new to the first game, at least when playing as single player as I do. Nothing is really memorable and it gets boring quickly. Played to the end in about 12 hours but felt longer because I just wanted it to end. Did most challenges (i.e. getting chests), even if I hated how it only challenged twitching with the stupid controller button combinations - the result, sweaty hands and possibly a damaged controller. Score is based on already having played the first game and thinking that was enough.

Tried to like it, but nope I just hate it. The game feels unfinished through and through, and unfortunately I think the developers are too inexperienced to be able to fix it. Too clunky and unresponsive/delayed movement and combat - and if someone says "realism" you are just wrong. Not particularly impressed by graphics and it's just too glitchy and badly performing even on a Geforce 1080 TI (with the lastest drivers updated for this game). Very difficult to enjoy unless you hit 60FPS perfectly all the time (and you can't) - it feels like frame rate drops to 10 even though the in game FPS meter shows 45. You can't leave the game when you want, because of the moronic save system. Don't buy all the rave reviews, there's an explanation for that which is not about the game being great.

I really don't like the 3 on 3 basketball game which this really is. The game just isn't fun and I don't see it ever becoming so further on. Nice presentation though, but wasted on the boring game play. This is no RPG, it's a sports game trying to masquerade itself as something else.

Extremely overrated ... what's good is that it's short. The "game" tries to tell a story, but I find it relatively bland and it feels unfinished in the end. "Game", yeah it's not really a game ... you move along a narrow path as the story is being told ... as interactive as turning pages in a book.

This is so like children's TV shows from 1970's Sweden, so just like Washington Post says ... something one might create if they wanted to petrify children instead of amuse them. Surely, shows like "Vilse i pannkakan" and "Tårtan" must be some of the inspiration. The same feeling of dread may be a bit too much for my taste just because I'm old enough to have been tortured by those nightmare inducing TV shows. I honestly don't think I can continue playing as it really brings back too many bad memories, but you other guys should give it a try ... maybe you had cartoons too watch as a kid and are less traumatized ... I'm giving it a score of 8 for your sake, whereas it could be a personal 1 for me.

Induces VR sickness ... probably aggravated from left and right eye being badly synchronized with regards to lightening and possibly perspective. Run demo, do you have sensation view fields have dark smudges, then alternate between closing left and right eye and you'll see ... one eye sees bright the other sees dark when looking at same area. THIS IS REALLY BAD - Sony must step up and forbid this kind of **** 0 from being unplayable.

Meaningless version relative original. Remembered it as looking great when first coming out. Now many years have passed and you'd expect it's gonna look great for this day and age. But from this, you may actually start wondering if they've done anything at all (running with Ultra settings). Score 0 based on value relative original.

Boring as hell with seriously dated graphics. Feels extremely cheap, little effort and money has been spent making this game. Destructoid's (critic) review is spot on. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage.

I like it, but there are so many flaws. The one thing that keeps me playing it, is the story/stories, even if it can become very confusing at times. I feel combat has been ruined by confusing terminology, math, and mechanics. Too much magic which you never can use, too few meaningful weapons/armour upgrades. Many things in the game prove to be practically meaningless, but then there are some things you can miss which makes it very difficult. This game could have been so much better, so it's clearly not a 10.

WARNING! Breaks after a while and becomes completely unplayable. It's beyond any imagination how it can break the way it does and it seems it's random for people. One minute you can jump out of water and push objects, and then WHAM it stop working completely (for that particular save file). Hold your purchase until this is confirmed fixed. Even though nice in some ways (until major bug), story wise I don't understand anything, but then again I'm Idiota150 ;) Mostly too easy, except when it gets really frustrating and you have to replay a long segment over and over again.
