The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me7
Nov 27, 2022
the Dark Pictures best game to date. An excellent story .with some good jump scares. i personally didnt experience any bugs on ps5. the only negatives i can say are that the new tool mechanics are just sort of gimmiks that really serve no purpose, they really just complicate redundant tasks, but the sprint feature is nice, Lets see skippable cutscenes in the next game, for those who have completed it a few times, listening to the same dialogs over and over is unnecessary, oh, and it was a pretty low blow to gamers that didnt pre order to include trophies only available in co-op or curators cut mode.

A Plague Tale: Requiem9

an excellent adventure, played flawlessly on ps5 without any bugs at all. everything a sequel should be, continues Amicia and Hugo's epic tale while adding many elements to the game play.

Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions2
Nov 27, 2022
i liked the first game, but this just got to ambitious for itself, there's often so many puzzle pieces it doesnt cycle through them properly. puzzles can take hours to complete. and i just had the game hardlock on me after spending an hour on a puzzle with only 3 pieces left. a BROKEN GAME.

A Tale of Paper5
Oct 2, 2022
the game had the potential to be an enjoyable experience with a graphic style similar to little nightmares and i did find it to be so up until the last few chapters. at that point the limited camera angles and poor control interface take the game over, timed missions with a bad control set is just not something that should be happening in 2021 era games. it's possible that this is better on a pc with a keyboard, but on ps4 you just cant switch between the needed forms fast enough to make it an enjoyable casual experience.

Stray6
Oct 2, 2022
it's a beautiful game and it's fun being a cat, but the decision to make a flawed speedrun mode as a trophy lows it's value considerably. cutscenes are unskippable and count against your time. you have to wait for the ai to slowly unlock doors or walk across a courtyard. in short, it was a big time fail in that regard, and needlessly so.

Last Stop (2021)5
Oct 2, 2022
this is a pretty average game all around, while the story is good the graphics are subpar and there's really not much gameplay outside of a few minigames. the game mostly revolves around conversations. too many meaningless day to day tasks thrown in like drinking coffee and brushing your teeth.

Perils of Baking4
Oct 2, 2022
a standard platformer thats endearing at first, but relies too heavily on gimmicks to force the user to replay levels in an attempt to prolong the games lack of substance. the final boss fight completely ruins what little the game did have to offer. it's unbeatable by all but the most hardcore of gamers.

Suicide Guy: Sleepin' Deeply0
Oct 2, 2022
this is without a doubt the worst game i've ever played on ps4. the controls are so bad that it; should be a crime for this to be sold on a sony platform. something as simple as closing a mailbox becomes a massive chore. i think it's the only game i ever just deleted half way through for the pure sake of bad mechanics.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine5
Sep 25, 2022
while i did find this game enjoyable, i liked the art style and even though a lot of the mechanics were repetitious i still managed to play near 20 hours without really ever tiring of the game. unfortunately it has a major bug with one of the trophies. " Friend of Mine" is a trophy involving a 2 part story, the second part of which does not spawn. the Devs have been aware of the issue for quite some time, even before the game was ported to ps4, yet have made no attempt to fix the issue. content knowing they are taking your money for a flawed product.

Lost at Sea3
Sep 12, 2022
not the greatest, other than the fact it's a fairly easy platinum it's really not wasting a few hours on. the story itself isnt too bad, but it's repetitive. some of the puzzles are a bit buggy, and the mechanic where you need to stare into the eye of you fears doesnt always work properly. resulting in your death and being forced to return to a checkpoint that could me miles away.

nowhere near as good as the first 2, but still interesting for the genre, i did feel the episodes drug on at times though. they try to touch on social issues at times, but it really just sort of comes off as cliche the way they do it. almost every time they try seems like the character they use is the standard stereotype of the select demographic they're addressing.

i'm generally not a fan of cover shooters and i despise forced stealth, but this game does an alright job of it. the comic book style is awesome. it's a short game. maybe 5 hours if you explore alot. a fairly easy platinum with a collectable guide.

Aug 14, 2022
i'm honestly not really sure what to make of the story for this one. but the utopian setting and the graphic style were winners. it's basically your standard point and click other than that. i love the trophy names, should be a cult classic if it isnt already.

i was pleasantly surprised by this one. tried it since it was free with plus extra. had a decent story but i loved the graphic style. a good game to relax to after a hard week of zombie killing. about a 4 hour game, so easily playable in a night. not overly difficult either.

In Sound Mind5
Aug 14, 2022
not a bad, game, not a great game. it's unique, i'll give it that. good change pf pace from the standard "it's just you and a flashlight" walking sim horror that's all too common for the genre these days, i'd rate it a bit higher but the weapon switching is a total liability. there's no quick switch, so you have to hold down l1, use the d pad to scroll to the weapon you want and then select that weapon. and do it again to switch back. this is a ps5 era game, there's no excuse for this kind of poor mechanics in games these days.

a fun concept ruined in the final minutes by bad controls and an overly hard final boss fight . the bad controls aren't an issue until the end, but once you get there it is a glaring weakness. a classic example of a dev substituting difficulty for substance. It starts off fun, but gets repetitive fairly quickly. the commentary is hilarious and i liked finding the land marks, but the last battle really ruined the game for me. still have yet to complete it. decided to drop my score down since tripwire doesnt believe in freespeech for their employees.

Rune Lord2
May 9, 2022
not a good port, there's some interesting twists to the standard match 3 game, but the combo-man trophy is a real game ruiner, it really showcases how bad an adaption the game is to ps4. you just simply can't move the controller quick enough to get 15 combos, and at times when you do get the rune you want, the game thinks your still moving the way you were to get to the rune and not the way you want to move the rune, a bad port an an even worse trophy idea.

just another one of those "its you and a flashlight" defenseless horror walkers. though you dont often even have a flashlight. it's more aggravating and annoying then it is horrifying. but where this game really fails is that the barrels and crates break too easily when trying to get the cat photos. seriously, what kind of dev doesn't even program 1 non breakable crate around for a needed collectable. tried 30 times to get that cat photo and my barrel has broke somewhere every time.

oh, what a bug filled mess this is. it's basically an escape game and the puzzles are imaginative enough. but my god. the bugs ! i lost count of the times i had to reload levels due to progression bugs. anything from a needed quest item just simply disappearing to a level that simply was just so broken i ended up loading nearly 10 times and finally the intended result happened as a result of a different bug. i platinumed this, but what a struggle.

Journey of the Broken Circle1
Jan 29, 2022
A chore to complete some chapters. Should be renamed journey of the broken controls. While the hand painted looking graphics are nice and the story is meaningful enough, it just doesn't get past the ineffectiveness of the controller interface. i may have given this a 3 but the devs decision to add the ridiculously flawed bonus chapter "bad trip" in the trophy set deserves a few lost points. Its maddening really. dont waste your $ and if you get it free , dont waste your time.

a fun game with a good story and great character interaction. one of the best of 2021. the boss fights can be tediously annoying and some of the battles seem to bite of more than they can chew , trying to control all 4 characters, but still great. i'd suggest playing on a ps5 though, even on ps4 pro the load times are horrid.

Loved this game. possibly the best rpg to be released in the last couple years. I've put in 115 hours plus and still haven't done the dlc's. id give it a higher score but the over reliance on the double jump glide that doesn't always work led to much frustration.

this game is terrible. thought it would be a fun little escape game. its not. hardly playable without a guide, but i suffered through using a text and video guide hoping to get the platinum trophy, only to get to the final room and have it freeze on me. and of course there's no real save option, so in order for me to finish i'll have to reload , do that entire chapter again and hope it doesn't freeze again. well after reloading i was able to redo the final chapter and get the platinum. still wouldn't recommend. even at the 2.50 sale price.

Nov 27, 2021
this game is ok, has a desent story, a bit short. worth the 5$ sale price, but over all it lacks direction. you'll get stuck and need a guide a few times. but the biggest issue is the fact that the story is conveyed through a phone conversation for the most part, and the phone conversation often cuts out, so your stuck only getting parts of the story.

Deliver Us The Moon6
Sep 27, 2021
a decent story, the graphics and movement for the most part are crisp. however you can tell it's ported to the ps4, the jump interface often doesnt respond properly which will cause some frustration at times. where it fails, where ALL wired games seem to fail is the lack of manual saves. depending on where you are in a chapter you can easily lose an hour of play time do to infrequent autosaves.

i'm only giving this a 1 because the story was all right. the fighting however is possibly the worst i've ever seen in a game. the boss fights are basically broken because of how bad the combat is. i'm on the last chapter and doubt i'll even be able to finish this broken mess. standing right in front ****, my punch goes right through him. meanwhile i'm 3 steps away from him and he knocks me out with an invisible punch. . dont waste your time, just watch it on youtube.

i originally wrote a pc review for this game in September and gave it a 2 . it lacks any substance what so ever. i decided to revisit it on ps4 at a friends house. i've never been so upset over a games broken features in my life. after playing nearly an hour and needing one piece left to finish the game , i waited in a closet for near 20 minutes for the corpse to make his move so i grab the piece and leave and finish. well, he never came. turns out he was just standing in the room i needed to be **** of course, when i entered, i was killed. i through my hands up in disgust , deleted the game, and will never buy from random spin again.

Blair Witch5
Jan 14, 2021
i had high hopes for this game. even looked forward to it on my Christmas list. however it's highly disappointing. i've spent hours lost in the woods with no real direction which basically kills the immersion for what little story it does have, a lot of the game is based on camera puzzles that seem forced and out of place. currently being killed in the same spot over and over with , yet again, no clear direction on what I'm really supposed to do. I'd recommend waiting for this to come to psnow so you can try it for free. it's more frustrating than fun, more confusion than substance. after completing the game i have a little better opinion , but sill not a huge fan. especially with the sound coming fron the controller not being adjustable.

True Fear: Forsaken Souls - Part 27
Jan 13, 2021
this is a really great and lengthy point and click. though some of the puzzles are over the top hard and will more than likely require you to look at a walkthrough, the continuation of the story is good. good cutscenes , and an obtainable platinum trophy. wish there were hidden object puzzled , but still a good play. looking forward to part 3.

i'd love to give this game a higher score . it's easily the best game released in 2020 and a front runner for goty in 2021. the story is great, the soundtrack is the best in years, and the game play is very fun. even addicting. i platinumed this game in 160 hours. why the low score than ? it crashed on me 46 (yes 46) times during that span. completely unnacceptable from a aaa developer.

this is, without a doubt, one of the best narratives of any game made recently. the graphic style is great and at times unsettling. i applaud ninja theory for this excellent vision. however, the combat system is just plain terrible and basically ruins an other wise brilliant game. and the cliche reliance on chase scenes was also a big drawback.

while the game itself is actually a good game and i'm looking forward to the next game, it is basically unplatinumable because of a time requirement on a certain puzzle . with this in mind coupled with the fact that they wont actually let you replay the game on the same profile in order to obtain missed trophies or just to replay a chapter for fun i cannot in good conscience give this game a positive score. hopefully digitl lounge puts a bit more effort into making the game consumer friendly in their next installment,

this is possibly the worst game i have ever played. i only gave it a 1 because the intro was cool. pick up garbage, throw away garbage, identify sound, eliminate sound. repeat. i was trying to give it a chance and at least get to the day 5 trophy. NOPE. couldn't stomach the repetition. a waste of 2 hours of my time and 5$ of my money. after slogging through this off and on for a week, I'm at day 24, and my opinion hasn't changed if anything it's gotten worse. Seems now I'm at the mercy of getting a good load out in order to advance. anybody else find it HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS that the all three of the 10 user reviews were on the same day and all by accounts that have 1 review in their history ?
