I would have given it a 10 but the ending ****!
Ellie dipping even further into her need for vengeance was immature and pathetic, even more so because she was in the wrong and had much more blood on her hands than Abby. I ended up liking Abby more and just couldn't stand Ellie in the end.
The best co-op multiplayer adventure I have ever played! There is so much to do!
The game is always engaging and packed with action but it can be soothing in other activities.
The Pirated of the Caribbean collaboration is a cherry on top.
The gameplay is smooth, graphics are very good and progression is satisfying.
There may be a little bit too much dialogue for my liking. I almost never skip dialogues but in Avowed there were times where I just had to skip some because of how they dragged.
NPCs felt wooden.
There were too many dialogue options that didn't actually change anything.
Overhyped af.
Graphics remind me of a 2010 game but it was released in 2022.
If the gameplay is all about dodging, why do you input a 0,5 sec delay on the dodge? It doesn't make sense and is beyond frustrating. Yes, the design of bosses is magnificent (especially the Lord of Blasphemy) but the stupid handicap on the gameplay and clunky movement is what, in my opinion, spoils the fun.
As always, Hazelight delivers big time! I love them!
Gameplay in Split Fiction is a little harder than it was in It Takes Two or A Way Out, so if you are a gamer you might need to muster some patience if you plan on playing with a non-gamer.
Graphics is very good. As good as you need it to be for this type of game.
Friend's Pass AND cross-play? That is something I didn't expect. Hats off.
Dialogues and the direction of the story may be somewhat cheesy at times but it's nothing too concerning. This game is all about the adventure anyway, and the adventure is perfect!
