So basically that's like an experiment that I HOPE is going to evolve through time. It is a slightly improved version of 8 Deluxe but some mechanics, the open world and lack of content are questionable at this point. Gameplay Mechanics - 7/10: Controls are smooth and you can adapt quickly to new ways of driving on the rails and walls (the other question is - who needs them?); new intermission courses is an interesting new touch for this type of racing game but I'd prefer it to stay in the Knockout Tour only (especially they are annoying in multiplayer races, bring back the laps style only!); all the items are fun to use, balance is OK. The open world.... ehhh it's simply empty dude, I hope developers are working on something more to that. It's supposed to be the game's MAIN feature but i feels more like a bonus one and the least amount of people are gonna use Free Roam... Graphics & Visuals - 10/10: All is great, scaling is perfect. Sound & Music - 7/10: Honestly, I haven't got into any tune here yet... Maybe it's because there are yet another bunch of remixes of the same stuff and because of the new intermission courses the music now has to be more flexible and thus kinda blurry and unmemorable. Replayability - 10/10: No question about that here, it's always gonna be super replayable in any state and especially with multiplayer. Innovation - 7/10: It has some new ideas (new regime, new mechanics, new type of courses, new items, open world) but the quality and necessity of them are questionable. Technical Performance - 10/10. As any Nintendo game - perfectly polished. Multiplayer works excellently. Art Direction/Design - 10/10: Quickly got into the cartoonish and juicy aesthetics, very appealing and fun. Monetization/Value - 8/10: Hard to say if it's worth the price. Definitely for the fans of the series it is. But I really hope that in the future we'll see more FREE patches and even DLCs that gonna expand the game and polish it to the state of the previous installment, so it's finally worth the price. All in all it's a bit arrogant of developers to say that this game is so huge that you have to pay this much, while I feel that this game is a bit underdeveloped actually. Total - 9/10.

Gameplay Mechanics - 7/10: Controls are a but dull, challenge is strong, but a bit too repetitive and hard to fully mater without proper guidelines. Graphics & Visuals - 8/10: Fine for me for an old game like this. Sound & Music - 5/10: Every sound this game makes is kinda weird for my taste. The music is out of place and sound design is meh. Replayability - 5/10: The game is preeety long so you get tired of it by the end easily. Not sure anyone would like to replay it with another character right immediately. Innovation - 4/10: The social aspect of this game is its main highlight but doesn't seem innovative at all. Technical Performance - 10/10. Art Direction/Design - 6/10: Aesthetics are not that much appealing and level design is simply random. Getting nightmares of endless mazes of Tartarus. Monetization/Value - 10/10: Worth the price. But i'd recommend to play Reload (remake) version instead. Story & Narrative - 9/10. Been interesting to participate, though doesn't feel like I lead the story at all. Total - 7/10.

Innovation - 2/10: Not sure about that at all. Although he story mode was surprisingly creative. Technical Performance - 10/10. Art Direction/Design - 7/10: Loved the aesthetics and surroundings, but nothing outstanding. Thanks for mostly accurate representation of the cities. Story & Narrative - 7/10: The story mode was a creative thing to watch, but it didn't bring much joy and SENCE in me winning every damn race in the 1st position. Narrative - 2/10: I mean we could get a lot more type of inner games to explore possibilities, not those lame demos. Sound & Music - 9/10: Simple and suits well. Replayability - 3/10: Could be explored only once, you could try to beat your own records in lame games. Innovation - 7/10: Actually the idea behind all of this is quite cool, the realization is poor in the end. Technical Performance - 10/10: Perfect. A true gem. Took the best from JRPG. Every aspect of the game is perfectly made by this small studio, bravo! Although, for me personally, the story itself (which is actually rich) and the narrative are rather messy and don't close up very well. And the game doesn't encourage you to use the camp mechanic very much, hard to say if that's a bad thing. But overall, the game is still great. I look forward to seeing more in this genre from the creators!

Turned out to be a great game! The atmosphere, details and graphics are stunning. Visual effects as well. Neat sound design. The narrative is pretty good. Although the story itself feels weak and doesn't end well. Feels the desire of Blizzard to **** on some money through future DLCs. But overall it's a huge game with a well-thought endgame phase. It's just hard to stay in the grind for a long time. This game better be played occasionally once you've finished all the quests.

Pure joy! So many 'wow' feelings from this game. Excellent work on setting, atmosphere and lore (not the plot and final though). Gameplay is OK. Want to give the developers some credit since it's their first game. The soundtrack is amazing! But can't say the same about the sound design and voice acting (all the cutscenes seem weird and badly directed). All other aspects of the game are good enough. Congratulations to the developers on their successful debut! P.S.. I beg you, play with Russian voices, it's more authentic! And don't be surprised by some of the game's oddities, the game is aimed primarily at the Russian audience.

(Patch 1.6 - at this point, it's definitely time to play for those who waited for the game to be fixed) Throughout my gameplay (70+ hours into the game, and still craving for more) never had any case of severe bugs or glitches. The only technical difficulties I've experienced are long loading times and lack of crowds and traffic in the streets. Gameplay itself seems kinda smooth, interesting, and variable, but I didn't catch the point of the complicated character development system. Although I love that the game gives you a lot of freedom and variability in your actions and walkthrough. It's kinda unsettling that by choosing different paths in your dialogues and actions you simply cut out a huge part of the game and story for yourself. Funny contradiction: after so many hours somehow it still feels like it's not enough content here for me (maybe because of the vastness of the world, the areas of the city that were not explored/included in the story...). The best things about this game: the narrative/plot, the city, the cyberpunk atmosphere, and the soundtrack is out of this world - the best one that I could have ever imagined! It's so cool just to drive around this beautiful city while listening to those cool tracks or while you're in a fight. The game is certainly worth revisiting several times more. Thank you, CDPR, for all the joy. Almost breathtaking!

Mixed emotions about this game. On the one hand, it is cool that it has such replayability with multiple choices and endings, but on the other hand, the plot came up to be a boring mess. Even the ending is pretty stuffy. Nevertheless, the best thing about this game is level design. No other game can give you an opportunity to play different styles with so many interesting enemies. Simply one of the best games of its decade. Not enough words to describe the amount of work developers have put into this masterpiece. You've gotta buy a Nintendo Switch console for this game alone and it would be enough. This game is huge, not in a matter of open-world (levels are rather small), but in terms of content and playability. I have no idea how many hours you have to spend to fully interact with many aspects and collect all the moons. Gameplay and controls are simple yet sometimes it's tricky to get to some hidden places, and that's cool, how it should be. Mechanics seem endless but they are limited by the certain amount of objects/NPCs you can control. The story itself is original, shares a whole lot about Mario's world! The game is perfectly made for fans. Visuals... well that's just Mario. It's not a matter of smooth visuals but it's so colorful and juicy, I loved it. Sounds and music. Sound design is on a high level. Music is so diverse, I enjoyed lots of level themes. So it's a straight 10/10. You've gotta experience it!
