A surprisingly realistic depiction of Çanakkale, and portrayal of a moment-by-moment despair of the self-confidence and spirit in young adulthood. However, certain parts of the film truly made me question whether or not they were scened because they are relevant and valuable to Nuri Bilge Ceylan in a sentimental sense because of him being born and raised in Çanakkale.
Aside its compared repetitiveness when the whole series is taken into account, John Wick 4 is still entertaining, fast-paced, and intriguing. It is also admirable how the certain comedy aspects does not feel out of place, since it is a challenging fine adjustment to make.
The Meg is not John Wick. It's quite unrealistic and somewhat fun, but there being a continuation of the first movie could be considered a mistake itself.
A great art film that manages to convey its message powerfully yet subtly. This proves that it is possible to address the working class without the contents of class hatred or the unending efforts to move up in society.
Irreversible does not portray its message successfully due to its extremity in communicating it with the audience. However, I should still say, Gaspar Noé touched upon problems exclaimed long since; Crime in Paris, and hinderly indicating a forgotten nationalism.
This movie made me question, when will the let's mix comedy with "horror" movement that does absolutely nothing to save the movie will end? Even the actors' popularity did not add to the movie, and even for fans this movie can be considered as disappointing.
The Devil's Advocate has a dynamic storytelling and an excellent casting, although I believe the third act undermines the effort and turns the movie absurd and comedic.
Death Becomes Her is supposedly a black comedy, yet it is more "black" than comedy. It is not a story that is being told, it is as if you are being taught a lesson.
A dystopian movie attempt was made, but did it have to be this unthoughtful and simple? Truly feels as if I'm listening to a school seminar where a guidance counselor explains the unrealistic beauty standards social media has constructed.
Immersive, timeless, insightful, and a masterpiece. Cast selection and actings are top-tier, soundtracks are absolutely captivating and transcendent, and storytelling is done in such delicate and elegant manner.
