Combat is easily the best of the 3. Played with extended cut ending, sure, wasn't the best ending in the world, but it was fine. Story throughout the game was top notch.

First time playing Doom 3 in any shape or form. It's a bit dated by now, but still a solid action-horror-FPS. But the game takes forever to pick up, as the first 8 hours are pretty generic missions. But Hell is fantastic, though way too short. I wish there were much less Mars corridors, and much more Hell. Wouldn't have spent $40 on this, but I got it cheap. Yeah, DOOM 1 and 2 are on this, and are 9/10 classics, but that's not what this release is about. DOOM3 is a 7/10 for 2018 standards

It's a fine game. The graphics are subpar (even for Wii), and the music is super generic rock to the point that I turned it way down. But other than that, it's a solid and fun arcade racer. ...that is, if it wasn't for the controls. The WiiMote just isn't cut out for steering. It's imprecise and even frustrating at times. I wish I could play this with a normal controller.

PRESENTATION: graphics are amazing for 2006. And so are the physics: very satisfying to bump around and tear up the mud. BUT the framerate can be very bad, far below 30fps at busy times. And the brown stages all kinda look the same. Even worse is that some rocks are literally hard to see because everything is a shade of brown. Not a fan of the music. GAMEPLAY: all these different vehicles, and all the different routes on the tracks is a big part of the fun here. Along with the physics and arcade gameplay makes for a nice mix of realism and arcade. There are a few ramps that have wonky physics and make you crash, which can be frustrating. I would give it an 8/10, but there is one glaring issue: crazy rubber-banding AI at higher difficulties. Not only is the AI *insanely* aggressive (literally every lap someone suicides to knock you off), but they are also laughably fast when you are ahead of them. It's a joke, at full-boost, big rigs overtaking you left and right without boosting. Furthermore, the content is a bit bare bones. Online and Time trial would've been fun, but I'm playing this when the servers are down, so reviewing it as such. Still, it's a fun game for a few bucks and I don't regret it 7/10

Played in 2015, my first shooter for the PS3. Review for the single player: Visuals: Still great graphics and the realistic tone really adds to the immersion. Great futuristic **** setting and art design. Music: It's very good and dramatic. Fits (and creates) the atmosphere. Story: The weakest aspect of the single player. It's a grand battle with cool enemies but there isn't much interesting about the story. It's weak, but it's not the focus of the game. Gameplay: Here is where K2 shines. Very addictive and fun shooting mechanics, once you're hooked you don't want to stop. NOTE: the controls aren't responsive enough at first, making it barely playable. Tweak the settings and download the update to go from barely playable to awesome controls :) 8.7/10

I can't believe how much I disliked Uncharted 1 yet loved Uncharted 2. They did everything right with U2 compared to U1. The soundtrack is amazing, so are the graphics, the story is solid Hollywood action-flick, the characters are great. But then comes the gameplay and I don't know how but it was so much better than Uncharted 1. 9/10

Playing this game in 2015 really shows it's age. I love me some classic games, but this one hasn't aged well at all. The good: the presentation is fantastic, the soundtrack being on top, the characters and voice acting is great and the graphics are still nice today. Though there was a lot of screentearing. But unfortunately the gameplay is painfully mediocre (coming from Naughty Dog). Luckily they went from a turd to a masterpiece with Uncharted 2, but this one gets a 6/10 from me.

It's Smash. For the 3DS. And it's as masterful as always. The single player modes aren't as fun and are obviously lacking so giving this game 10/10 isn't justified. But it offers the best online Smash experience to date and I've honestly never played a Nintendo game so much online (60 hours in 1v1 for glory). It takes some getting used to in the beginning (the controls took me about 5 hours to master), it's lacking some options and it doesn't have the best selection of stages. But damn is it fun! 9/10

In terms of innovation and originality for its time it doesn't beat the originals for the GBC, but this is technically the best version of the best Pokemon game ever. Pokemon G/S/C are widely considered the best Pokemon games for their time and their addictive gameplay still shines through with HG/SS. I'm not sure which game would be enjoyed the most if you'd give HeartGold to someone that has never played a video game and the original Gold to someone that has never played a video game. But for today's standards HeartGold wins and with that said I consider HeartGold one of the best RPGs I've ever played. A lot of fun and addictive. The story and quality drops a bit after the pokemon league, but the fact that they added Kanto still amazes me today. 9.1/10

Half-Life 2 and its episodes is the best shooter I have ever played and Portal is one of the most clever games. I haven't even played TF2 as I don't really like playing online, but the single player games are just pure Valve-no-video game masterpieces. 9.6/10 for Half-Life and 9/10 for Portal. It's a huge openworld RPG with an amazingly crafted atmosphere and setting with a good storyline along with it. It took me about 6 hours before I really got into it and started enjoying it though, it's not just a game you pick up. The best things about this game for me were the characters and all the ways you could interact with them, the fantastic post-apocalyptic setting with 50s/60s (Bioshock-esque) themes and the huge world with so much to explore. The combat mechanics were satisfying and so was equipping yourself with cool new gear. The story kept me intrigued and certainly had it's moments (especially if you influenced them), but the ending wasn't too grand in my mind. Technically it's a good looking game but it does suffer from quite a few issues. Slight screentearing and random glitches do plague this game, but it's no game-braker. The original score didn't impress me either though the old school music made up for it in a way. One thing that did annoy me throughout the game is the LARGE focus on looting/grinding. It felt like I spent half my time 'playing' this game sorting my inventory and buying/selling stuff. Getting a companion in the game helps a lot carrying stuff so get one ASAP. Also I felt like there was just too much content in the game. If you're a huge openworld RPG fan and like to drop hundreds of hours in a game, you can with Fallout 3. But for someone that just wants to play an awesome game and then move on to the next they could've streamlined Fallout 3 a lot in my mind. Conclusion: If you like these kind of games and have some time to spare, certainly pick it up. To compare: it's better than Bioshock but not as good as Half-Life 2 in my opinion. 8.4/10

A long time Zelda fan's review on ALBW: - Presentation: 9/10 Technically speaking ALBW is a milestone. 60 fps and a beautiful 3D world with very nice cutscenes make it the prettiest 3DS game. What did annoy me is that it uses an art style similar to Skyward Sword and the Wind Waker. Cartooney metro-sexual characters don't belong in the world of ALttP yet Aonuma did it again. The music in ALBW is excellent. It offers a few new good Zelda tracks but it mostly relies on classic Zelda tunes, mainly from ALttP. - Gameplay: 9/10 ALBW comes with some twists in the gameplay department. A new item system and merging into walls gives the player much more freedom. This is the most open world Zelda since the first installment, which is a good thing after Skyward Sword's obstructive linearity. Although it's pretty much the same overworld as ALttP, due to these new gameplay elements it still feels fresh. The puzzle difficulty and combat isn't too hard in ALBW, but for newcomers to the franchise it will provide a good challenge. The dungeons are excellent albeit a bit short. The story is surprisingly elaborate for a handheld Zelda game. In fact the whole production value is on a console level. - Verdict: It's like what Twilight Princess was to Ocarina of Time: an excellent nostalgic Zelda. But ALBW just does a bit more to make it a standalone classic and not a rip-off. + high quality graphics, music and story + fun traditional open world Zelda + new gameplay mechanics make it fresh - childish and slightly out of place art design. Perhaps the best handheld Zelda. 9/10

Review on the single player: PRESENTATION: - Graphics are good even today. The cars are authentic and detailed, you can tell it's a high quality production. The environment and maps are realistic yet a bit boring, especially after seeing the same scenery over and over. Also note that car decals look grubby. Still a good looking game. - The music is good electronic music in the menu's, but apart from that there aren't any good memorable original Forza songs. Sound effects of the cars are pretty realistic but nothing to write home about. GAMEPLAY: - There is no story, expected from a racer, but the game feels very dead. There's no one talking to you, it's just select a race and drive, nothing else. - Driving feels authentic and realistic and still maintains to be fun and addictive. It has loads of cars with tons of authentic customisation options. Being a realistic racer though, it comes with some pacing issues. It starts off slow with bad cars. Once you get the hang of it you'll start unlocking good cars and the game really starts to pick up. Once you get into the Race class (after the supercars) though the game is tedious: a single cup will take you about 60 mins because you're doing about 8 laps per race. The first two laps are always fun but after that it's 95% of the time already determined if you're going to win or lose. The game gives you the options to make it as hard or as easy as you want it to be, but since you don't want to spend 15 mins to do one race over again you want to start a race knowing you can win. Finding a good balance is hard and the game leaves it up to you to find it. VERDICT: It's great as a realistic racer, but as a game gets a bit tedious after a while + tons of real cars with authentic customisation + fun and realistic driving mechanics - it feels a bit dead with the same scenery over and over and little overall variation - it gets very tedious further in the game as you're spending so much time doing one race 7.4/10

A solid and safe sequel to one of the best games ever made. It's not AS good though. It has a few pacing problems as you will be backtracking a lot, through light and dark. The dark world has the same layout as the light world so you'll be going through the same areas a lot. Being the hardest out of the series didn't make it more enjoyable. After three playthroughs and about 200 hours of playing this game I've come to my conclusion. It falls down on a few things: -It's too easy. I felt like superman slashing up every enemy in my way, it got annoying because I felt myself looking for a challenge and acting as if some bosses were tough. The puzzles were a bit on the easier side too but still challenging. -Another big letdown was that the game felt 'empty'. Nearly every reward was rupees and there wasn't much interesting you could do with all your rupees. My wallet was constantly full. Big landscapes with little secrets, just some treasures with worthless rupees. With that said the rest is all wonderfull, awesome and thrilling. Definatly the most epic Zelda experience I've had. They didn't offer a lot new to the game except the wolf aspect, which wasn't really special. They played it safe and made it a traditional Zelda, which is fine with me. But it won't go down as the best Zelda ever. It's still the best game for the Wii though. 9/10

5 years we have waited for this. Was it worth the wait? Yes and no. I've been a fan since OoT and have played every Zelda, so I will compare it to the other titles. I'll brake it down in good and bad aspects. GOOD: +In TP you were like superman, which got boring quickly. In SS it's more of a challenge. +My wallet was rarely full in SS (unlike in TP) and there were always great upgrades to find in treasures or to buy at the shop. It also gave the game a nice RPG element thanks to the upgrades you can do to your already awesome items and weapons. They really nailed the item system. +Another great addition is the new controls. They worked really well and added to the whole experience. BAD: -The music. If this is the first Zelda you've played, you'll like it. But god the music **** compared to OoT, MM and WW. Not one great new Zelda tune here. -lack of exploration. You've got your hub, skyloft and in the sky you can explore some islands. But the vast lands under the sky feel like one big obstacle course. It's a bit like MM, except that there was much more to do in Clocktown than in Skyloft. This all comes down to the fact that in SS there aren't much sidequests and they're also easy too. Overall this Zelda finally improved in some aspects but still suffers in others. Still a great game but one of the worst Zelda games out there 9/10
