DragonSword : Awakening9
Jul 31, 2026
This game is something I was waiting for since the first gacha games started appearing. I really didn't want to play them because of the predatory practices. It is great that the makers of the game decided to make it a B2P title, and the asking price is incredibly reasonable for what it is.
If this was a more expensive title, I would have given it a lower score, but considering the quality you get, it's really a good game.

As a long time Sonic fan I hate to say that this game is very disappointing. While the visuals are beautiful, the controls are pretty bad, and the game feels a lot worse than Sonic Generations. The music is controversial - some like it, I think it's trash - edgy teenagecore. It doesn't feel very challenging. The custom avatar functionality is pretty good. Overall, mediocre. All I was hoping for was Sonic Generations gameplay with new, interesting levels. Did not happen. It's a massive step backwards.

This is still, without a doubt, the best space RTS game ever made. The music, the story, and now the amazing graphics make the game a wonderful experience. There are still some bugs, which is normal for game launches, however they will be definitely resolves promptly.

Guns of Icarus Online5

I have been following the development of this game and was quite optimistic about it. However I started to have bad feelings about it when I launched the Beta version of it - very laggy, gameplay was glitchy and not as exciting as I hoped. Despite this I still was hoping that these problems would be fixed. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The final version is less laggy, alas it still has a lot of problems. The gameplay hasn't really improved, you get bored quite quickly, there's not much space for strategy. Overall, it's okay but could have been so much better.

Costume Quest8

Very enjoyable, lovely idea with adorable graphics and gameplay. The concept of collecting pieces for new costumes is awesome. The game has a few minor issues though. The controls are sometimes annoying, the battles don't offer too much in terms of strategy and can get slightly boring. The game also seems pretty short. However it is a very enjoyable experience.

Battlefield 37

If you're buying Battlefield 3, you only do it for multiplayer, which is great (more about it later). The campaign has some interesting and cool moments, but the AI is extremely painful - all enemies are absolutely stupid, yet they always know where you are hiding if you are in front of them - talk about lazy programming. The graphics are a mixture of awesomeness and disappointment. The lighting system is really impressive, however I hate fighting when it's dark as everything blends together. Moreover many elements seem fuzzy and pixelated. Character animation is very good. Multiplayer is great - addictive and focuses on team play. If you have played a lot of CoD before, you need some time to get use to the new way of playing. You actually kill less frequently and have to think more about your strategy, however this in return gives you more satisfaction. For example, team deathmatch is actually TEAM deathmatch, as opposed to CoD, where it's usually "every man for himself". Vehicles add a lot to the gameplay. Classes are balanced nicely and actually force some players to think tactically. Overall, the game is pretty good, it's just a shame that the campaign is a disappointment.

Sonic Generations9

A nearly perfect Sonic game - a must have for Sonic fans. After the utter disappointment of Sonic 2006 and the better, but flawed (some of those Werehog levels and emblem collecting...) Sonic Unleashed, we get a really good game that addresses most of the issues of the previous games. Firstly, the classic Sonic returns with better physics. Secondly, modern's Sonic gameplay is very good, less buggy. After you get a feel of a level, you start completing it quicker and in a more impressive manner. Every level is beautifully designed with stunning graphics - you can see they've paid a lot attention to detail. Many references and easter eggs. The unlockable bonuses! That's the cherry on the top. You can unlock artwork and songs from previous games and you can use those songs during any level - brilliant!

Sonic Unleashed8
Jul 4, 2011
After playing the utter disappointment which was Sonic 2006, which followed another horrible Sonic game - Sonic Heroes, I wasn't really optimistic when buying Sonic Unleashed. However I was pleasantly surprised. This game is surprisingly good: the graphics are stunning, Sonic levels are action packed and the gameplay itself looks impressive (my friends like to watch me play them because they look so cool). The Werehog levels are fun too, although sometimes they have frustrating moments - level checkpoints could have been placed more wisely. They have a "God of War"-like mechanic with several different combos and finishing moves. I haven't experienced any major bugs (I was playing the latest update though), although the framerate sometimes drops significantly. The game may also be too juvenile (as compared to e.g. Sonic Adventure 2) and Chip might be the most annoying Sonic character of all time (even more annoying then Amy) but overall the game is very good, probably the best Sonic game after Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic fans can add 1 point to this score.

One of the best downloadable games for the PS3 out there. This game is FUN. A great game to play with your friends, you'll have a great laugh. The graphics are great and quite funny. The music is average but not too bad. Overall worth every penny, although could be even longer.

Sonic Adventure 28

An action-packed adventure with smooth, nice graphics (at least at that time). Slightly buggy at times, however that does not affect the gameplay much. The 2 player mode is cool, however the shooting mode with Tails and Eggman is a bit pointless. The music is very nice and perfectly fits the whole experience. A very good Dreamcast game.

A revolutionary game which gives the power of creation to the user. The story levels are fun and challenging. However you get the best experience by playing the plethora of user created levels. Some of them are absolutely breathtaking. It is astonishing that you can go back to this game after a few months and still have lots to do, since there are new fantastic levels created by people around the world. Highly recommended for all PS3 users.

Heavy Rain: Move Edition9
Jun 19, 2011
I've actually played the move edition of Heavy Rain without playing the original, so I did not have any spoilers. The game is an absolute must-have for all PS3 owners. The graphics are gorgeous and so is the music. The plot is very interesting and keeps you involved and interested. It uses the Move controller cleverly, although at times you could swear you've made the right move but the game says otherwise. Heavy Rain is more of an experience than a game, and it is a breathtaking one. Whilst playing you're filled with excitement and thanks to the controls you get heavily involved in what is going on on the screen. I remember shouting at the screen during fighting scenes and sweating afterwards. It's a masterpiece. If you own a PS3, you have to get this game.
