THE best co-op PvE extraction shooter out there. I said to myself "now I will write a decent review". But I'm sitting for like 30 seconds thinking where do I event start? DRG is so essential, so elementally fun, so pure, so smooth... Barely few months after hitting early access, Deep Rock Galactic became a part of pop culture, forever

One of the most controversial big games out there. Why? Because usually you have "pay2play", "grind2play" or similar models. Eve is "pay2grind": 1. You pay extremely expensive subscription (2x more expensive than i.e. World of Warcraft or other MMOs), then: 2. you wait for your in-game skills to rise (they rise passively, by just having subscription active, you can be offline - blatant cash grab), then you: 3. have a full-time job in-game to earn resources and credits, so you can finally: 4. play the f*** game... I can understand the subscription model, but the price is outrageous. I can understand the "wait to train" skill levelling model, but it just makes you "pay now, come back to play in a month" I can understand the absurd grind that makes 95% of the game content, but each other player LITERALLY waits to shoot you in the back to steal your resources (or just destroy it, just for fun, no gain). This game builds many clever mechanics and systems, but then meticulously sabotages them by connecting them together in the most malicious, infuriating, trolling way.

I really try to avoid rating games 10/10, but Against the Storm truly deserves it. It is a perfect mix of city building, resource management, roguelite served in a relaxing but definitely not boring form. Every single settlement you build is a bit different, the pool of available buildings and buffs is changing. The "tree" of industry (raw->processed->product etc.) is more like a gigantic net where you can use like 3 or 4 intersecting paths to reach any product, depending on available resources, buildings, buffs, etc. When it comes to the art style, Against the Storm is simply beautiful - I love both graphics and music. Together with relatively non-punishing and flexible game mechanics it makes the game extremely relaxing (even on higher difficulty levels, to some extent). And on top of that - devs are very friendly and responsive. Game is very polished, actually it was looking almost complete even 1 year before release, when it hit Early Access.

The biggest advantage of Eve Online is that despite the game is 20 years old, it is absolutely the only one of its kinds. You may hate some aspects of it, but after all, if you like brutal, political, unforgiving space MMO full of freedom (which is both good and bad), with clever, well thought mechanics (but you will still hate some of them, I promise), then you have literally ZERO other options - there is only Eve. Is that bad? Well, I suppose it is not. Game is good, but definitely not for everyone - that is its biggest disadvantage. You love it or hate it.

Was going to buy it (really enjoyed first Dying Light), but I will not, since personally I do not buy games with Denuvo. I am an honest person willing to pay even full price, not a criminal, and I do not like when someone treats me like a thief or a pirate.

A game of wasted chances that is still VERY good. This game could be easily 10+/10 but the devs and publisher sabotaged it. First: by Denuvo (I bought it only few weeks ago, only because GOG released a drm-free version). Second: by launching a money-grab campaign from day 1 (micro transactions in a single player game AND connecting DX:MD to some crappy mobile games). Third: story that promises you best Deus Ex experience ever, and then rushes to a harsh ending, teasing you all the time with something better that is not coming. Mechanics, graphics, music, level design - these are 9-10 / 10. Without question. Story (the single MOST important thing in an RPG, Deus Ex especially) is jaw-dropping at the beginning. Intro and the beginning of the game, like first few hours, are 10/10. Like reading the best book in your life, but you can interact with it. But when you progress, you start to discover more and more and more astonishing, brilliant pieces of the story and the world... that are simply left for nothing... You get teased about interesting events, incredibly well designed places in the world, pieces of e-mails, items, dialogues - that lead to NOTHING. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating. I got the feeling like the game is an extensive demo when it comes to the story. Don't get me wrong - the story writing is GREAT. But how it develops in game is... underwhelming at best. There are so many superb-crafted jaw-droping things you learn, that you can not use in any way, or that lead to literally nothing, that it makes you wanting to cry sometimes. Story-wise - the game seems rushed, it seems there was AT LEAST 2x more quests and storyline planned. One one hand - I love this game and it's story. On the other hand, I felt like someone served me a 10/10 meal and suddenly took half of it away when I was enjoying it... I suppose an unbiased score for DX:MD would be 7/10. Add +1 if you liked DX:HR, and another +1 if you like this kind of games. For me both fo these are true, so my personal score for DX:MD is 9/10. PS. I was playing the GOG version - DRM free, no micro transactions, no Denuvo, no connection to the mobile app. And that's good. That is how the initial release should look like.

Base building, collecting plants and resources, cartoon-like meteo baloon for rescuing poor animals and a total lack of story (apart from prologue) is not what I was expecting from Metal Gear Solid... The environment, covert ops mechanics, graphics, design - all this is just fine, but this game IS NOT Metal Gear Solid.

Civilization 5 with graphics mod. These two or three additional features are much much smaller than any DLC to earlier Civ games. Classical rip-off, nevertheless just as good as normal Civ5. If you have Civ5 - don't buy. You already saw 95% of the game and new graphics can be watched in demo version on Steam.

For me few things make this game average: 1. Everyone has ability to see through walls. That's a standard option, everybody has "googles" allowing to see other players (enemies and allies) through walls. That is sick, reducing usefulness of any tactical gameplay to zero. 2. Dumb-looking, pseudo-modern design of many parts of equipment (especially player's models). 3. Barely moderate satisfaction from the basic activity in the game: SHOOTING. Can't name this feeling, but shooting in CS or any Unreal is much more satisfying and in these games I feel I have MUCH more control over the actions of my character. Nevertheless Blacklight: Retribution is not bad game, slightly above the average I would say. If you like network shooters - try it, all in all it's free.

It's simply unbelievable how much fan this game gives. The strongest things here are 1) gameplay 2) feeling of constant improvement of your garage with every game played 3) very well balanced free/premium gameplay (premium is really VERY nice, but you don't feel weak without it). For me personally gameplay in WoT can be compared to... Counter-Strike :) At first glance: nothing special. But both games have "this thing", which just make "walking and shooting"/"driving and shooting" simply pleasant and fun, and time running waaaay too fast... :D

I hardly can believe that such a simple game can give SO MUCH fun! I downloaded demo because the screenshots just looked interesting. I played a few times and... woooow... :D Can't stop trying to invent some new tactics of yielding better and better hi-scores ;p BTW, I think that brilliant music is sth like 49% of the fun ;) BTW2, my girlfriend and brother say, that just looking as someone other plays is also great (they want me to play so they can watch ;p).

Game is brilliant. You have to think, you have deep climate and smart humour. Playing Portal 2 I had some minor irritations (a brief feeling of being forced into prolonged series of tests, generally against the plot, just to make game-play longer), but I instantly forget them just when the outstandingly high level of humour appeared again and again and again... :D Sentenced like "Bit bigger than I expected. Not going to be able to just, you know, push it over. Have to apply some cleverness" or "I'm in space" are just unforgettable :D And the ending... OH. MY. GOD. :D Cant wait for Portal 3!

On trailers and screenshots Waveform looks very impressive. So i tried it, expecting really magnificent gameplay. I was a little-little-little bit disappointed, because in my opinion the game is "only" good. The idea is clever, developed perfectly (Waveform is beautiful and really fresh, uncommon), but when playing I quickly realised that I can't find in it anything that keeps me playing for more than 2-3h (despite I really like games of this kind).

Probably the best, or one of the best games I played in my life. I was lost to the world for 2 or 3 weeks when playing Morrowind. Ooops, sorry - not playing. I was LIVING in there for these 2 weeks... Huge area to visit (I totally LOVE to tour nice game worlds), filled with creatures living their own lives and stories, filled with both farms, houses, regular villages, as well as mysterious ruins, caves, crazy buildings. I also live the background of this world - history, races, religion, etc. Every cRPG fan (and I think also every RPG fan ;) ) that has 2 or 3 weeks of free time should play this game.
