Every couple of years or so I go back and play this game again, and it feels like the game gets better every time. This is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm aware of the criticism about the batmobile, the boss fights, etc. but honestly, I have so much fun in this game and the good. Masterclass art direction and word building. The game still looks gorgeous and the combat/stealth are phenomenal. So I don't really care about the excessive batmobile use. This game deserves the praise!

A really good game. The combat is enjoyable... somewhat on the simple side but the game is not easy by any means. Beautiful art direction and the music is absolutely phenomenal. It kinda reminds me of Nier Automata (and not just for the sexy protagonistlol). Is the game at 10 out of 10? No! Level design can be lacking. The characters are not that interesting even though the story and the world building is very interesting. And The dialogue is terrible lol. But overall I do recommend it.

Positives: I really like the premise. They had a neat idea. The game actually has puzzles (like actual puzzles) which which is so refreshing. Negatives: The gameplay is terrible. The movement and combat are so clunky. The enemies are not interesting whatsoever. you can see where the developers cut corners. no inventory to manage, no interesting weapons, no enemy variety, and the game kinda looks bad for 2024. It looks like something that was released 10 years ago.

I really, really want to like this game. Unfortunately, it's disappointing. I honestly think the 2014 original Lords of the Fallen is a better game lol. The developers clearly wanted this game to be difficult, but instead of making a challenging game (challenging in a good way), instead, they made a frustrating game with unnecessary mechanics that serves nothing but to frustrate the player. The combat is kinda clunky. The whole umbral world idea is neat, and some areas look very nice, but unfortunately that is all the praise I can give this game. Especially since the last game I played before this was Lies of P, which is freaking **** kinda ruined this game for me haha. Lies of P set the bar so high that this game could not compete. 6/10 or maybe 7/10 if being generous.

One of the best souls-like games I've ever played. Takes HEAVY inspiration from Bloodborne, with a little bit of Sekiro thrown in. The game is stylish. The world is incredible, with level design similar to that of From Software (maybe too similar sometimes). However, the game has extra mechanics that set it **** honestly, some of those mechanics are better than anything From Software has offered. The weapon customization is miles ahead of anything in the Soulsborne series. The Legion Arm is better than the Shinobi Prosthetic in **** the game certainly deserves a lot of praise and I really hope they continue the series. However, the game is not perfect. It has some issues. The parry window needs to be buffed. Some enemies are almost impossible to perfect parry. The camera sometimes acts like From Software camera, causing you to die because you can't see **** while a large enemy is beating you to a pulp. I would've preferred some sort of online multiplayer (like summons during boss fights), but I get that's not easy to implement. Anyways, the game is great...even with the issues it has (exactly like From Software games...which are riddled with issues but very enjoyable nonetheless).

One of the best games I've ever played! I've never played the original DS games, but after this, I went back and played all of them. Now Dead Space is among my favorite games of all time. Phenomenal work! Please remake Dead Space 2 next!

I actually didn't play this game on release. The Dead Space remake was the first Dead Space game I've played, and I liked it so much that I went back and bought Dead Space 2.... And I have to say... Dead Space 2 is phenomenal! One of the best games I've ever played. I didn't expect to like it as much as the remake (just because it's an old game), but honestly I might like it even more than the remake. I finished the campaign multiple times and enjoyed it every single time. Isaac is so freaking likable in this game, and Ellie too! I really hope they remake this one too!

Don't get me wrong, the game is good, but it's not great. I was hoping for more improvements over the 2018 God of War (like a zoomed out camera for combat or better traversal mechanics). But nope! Feels very similar to the last game with minor additions. Also, if any developers sees this, PLEASEEEEE add the option to turn off the "hints" from Mimir and Atreus when it comes to puzzles. I don't like to rush gameplay. I like to look around and soak in the environment, but every time I reach a puzzle section, Atreus and Mimir immediately shout out the answer and tell me what to do and ruin he puzzle for me. Please give us the option to stop that! Other major problems: (please improve these for the next game) *** Traversal still ****!!! Invisible walls everywhere. It doesn't make any sense which area Kratos can jump to and which area he cannot. It feels like a maze rather an an open or semi-open world. *** Platforming still ****! Games like Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, or Tomb Raider might not be perfect, but they still do a much better job when it comes to platforming and traversal. Reaching a specific area and pressing "x" just to watch Kratos climb is not that much fun, believe it or not. *** Those two points above causes exploration/traversal to be so SLOW and frustrating. I don't care that the game looks gorgeous when I have to spend 5 minutes just to move a few feet on the map because Kratos can't jump over a small tree log. *** Lastly, camera is still way zoomed in for this type of game. If possible, please give us a better (larger) FOV. This kind of over the shoulder camera works for something like Resident Evil because of its claustrophobic nature, but for a game like GoW it just causes a lot of cheap and frustrating deaths from attacks coming off-camera. I respect all the effort that went into making this game, and it's clear that the developers put a lot of effort and care into it, but the improvements from the 2018 game are very minimal and it juts feels like playing an expansion of the same game. Thank you!

One of the best games I've played in a while! I absolutely LOVE this game! No grinding, no loots, no cheap deaths or cheap mechanics. The game is challenging but always fair. Also, this is one of the most beautiful games on the PS4! I only gave it a 9 instead of 10 because it can get a little repetitive while clearing the map. The free expansion and free online DLC is just the cherry on top **** game. Thank you everyone who worked on this game. You guys did an awesome job. Please make a sequel haha.

Great game! I went back to play it after the HORRIBLE RE3 Remake. This is the amount of content we should have for $60, not a 5-hour campaign with a repeated boss fight.

Game is way to short for $60. I feel scammed to be honest. I expected something like RE2 Remake, but got half the game for the same amount of money. And honestly, it's not even that different from RE2 **** $60 for what?
