It’s a hallucinogenic family dramedy that’s made to be seen and experienced, an ouroboros devouring its own tail—and enjoying every bite.

Transfixing and lushly beautiful. ... “Undone” has humor and story enough to make it more than an art object. ... It is magnificent art, a world opulently realized from its oil-painted backgrounds to its sound design. You don’t watch this show so much as fall into it. ... There’s no place like “Undone.”

This show is bonkers, its just to good, you will find the animation weird in the begining but you will eventually get used to it, the writing is so good, the characters actually sound human, and the discussing about mental health and the super power stuff is so well done that really leaves you wandering about that ending

Bold and gorgeous. ... Undone’s singularly captivating visual style is always in service of its deeply affecting story.

Even when watching “Undone” is a deeply unnerving experience, it usually finds a way to twist its narrative, let its actors lean into their characters’ flaws, and reap unexpected rewards from often shattering revelations. There’s certainly no other show like it, which at this point is truly no small feat.

Undone is a frequently beautiful and thought-provoking ride.

Undone can be beautiful and inventive, but rather than directly confront such concerns, it mostly just kicks each can of worms a little further down the road, to perhaps be addressed in a future season while it continues to use the question of Alma’s sanity as a story hook.

The series has lost the air of uncertainty in favor of depicting lives whose problems are implausibly neat and solvable. It’s a journey for definite solutions that feels less like the messy, disorienting process of being alive than playing a video game while reading the strategy guide.

Imagine Family Guy done seriously and Stewie Griffin is played by a woman. The jump cuts are handled as three dimensional breaks in reality or mental illness. Leaving the viewership to decide and interpret.

Amazing art style. Reminded me of Waking Life which is also a great film. The first few episodes had me hooked. I guess I expected too much out of the ending, as I felt it dwindled into familiar territory after shooting off into space at the beginning. Still an amazing production with great acting and humor. Definitely worth a watch!!

I couldn't get past the hospital scene in episode 2. I don't like the writing--it's cloying. The Mother character is beyond irritating. Her comments in the hospital room made me turn off the tv. There are a lot of cliches. How this has a rating anywhere near the amazing "Fleabag" is absurd. FB has everything "Undone" doesn't--genuine humor, authenticity and originality. But I want to be clear--it's the writing that hurts this show. Bob Odenkirk is a great actor, and Rosa Salazar if terrific... it's her words that let her down.

"For Chicks Only" Had high hopes - loved Salazar in "Alita" - but it's a series about a whackadoodle, self-destructive woman with daddy issues. Exited at ep2, won't waste my time with series like this. Beware the 8/9/10 shillbots, it's just not that great unless you're a femme in college studying personality disorders. (originally posted IMDB 10/2/19)
