We'll have to see how he sticks the landing and where things go after the rather large cliffhanger at the end of episode 5, but for now, "Peacemaker" is back, baby, and it still kicks major ass.

James Gunn's first major TV project takes this blunt instrument of an anti-hero and uses him as the base for an at times strange, at times pretty fun action-horror adventure. (The term "superhero"... does not feel particularly applicable, in this case.)

Simplemente sorprendido de esta serie, quien diría que un personaje muy poco conocido como "Peacemaker", seria el protagonista de una de las mejores series de superheroes de la actualidad y de todos los tiempos.

This show keeps getting better and better. The comedy is not heavy handed or hokey. And the fight scenes are amazing. Thanks Mr. James Gunn.

This is just what fans of the first season have been looking forward to: an irreverent, over-the-top, adults-only good time with enough heart beneath the crudity to give it a real impact.

After a rocky beginning to the first episode, Peacemaker finds its groove when it has established its own world within Gunn's world. ... And once you're in that absurd, action-packed, NSFW world, it's hard to resist.

Peacemaker, if you can stomach the title character’s lunkheaded views (and temporarily forgive if not forget his actions in The Suicide Squad), is a lot of James Gunn fun.

He’s locked on to a serviceable shtick, even if its pull-my-finger gags worked better alongside an ensemble of equally colorful wackos in film form. At his best, he wears down our grownup defenses and taps into the Mountain-Dew-chugging, loogie-hocking teenage dirtbag laying dormant within all of us.

So far, many of the superhero shows invading TV (Marvel and DC) have been a be careful what you wish for propositions: want more character and less mindless action? Well, that only works when the characters are multi-dimensional and the writing is top-notch. Argue all you want, about what’s been seen on Disney+ so far (and the less said about the embarrassing DC/The CW, the better), but “Peacemaker” does not make a case for its main character’s existence beyond the big screen, let alone as the front and center lead.

This is so peak i came and cried 7 times watching it. Season 2 perfectly makes the continuation problem go away. We see the characters evolve and devolve at the same time. This is gonna be so good it’s gonna ascend me to heaven. This is the best live action DC show to ever come out of DC period.

Make up your own mind, but this show is crazy overrated. Messy storytelling, unfunny humor where the joke is always just to belabor a point, a lot of virtue signaling from James Gunn, and stakes you never quite feel because the whole thing feels like an SNL sketch run way too long. The overuse of the word **** borders on the absurd and was extremely distracting. The only thing it kind of excels at is fight choreography.

To many hypercritical sjw messaging like misgending bad but being an ass is ok. Every episode your reminded one character is a lesbian like that's all there is to her, just a checklist. Last episode one character is torn down to give lesbian character a forced moment that would of been better if they acted like a team.

Such a **** show, the script is garbage. Goff was in the senator at first, talking normally and acting just like a **** when it moved into the police woman, all of a sudden it’s like, “What do you mean human, Sophie loved you”—as if it’s the very first time it could act human. The show never gets beyond “let’s swear a lot, we’ll look cool, we’re so dumb and funny, muahaha.”

Was great in the beginning, but the woke talking points are starting to creep in. Otherwise I'd give it a seven.
