The chemistry of every television show should have as rapid a half-life as Breaking Bad, transforming into something new while building off the critical elements of the past.

There is a genuine suspense and thrill to the show now, but it succeeds largely as a treatise not on the tragedy of cancer but on the sheer monotony of it, the relentless waiting around.
Breaking could be a good study of acting, since Cranston and Aaron Paul (as his partner, Jesse) get under the grimy skin of their characters. But there's not enough of the good stuff, like writing, directing, mood, cinematography--you get the point.

I wont write much about the plot, for I dont want to spoil anything. The first three seasons are great - more or less. Starting in the third season the plot gets really stretched out, the character development gets thinner and thinner - all in all you can notice, they wanted to do more seasons but couldnt deliver in the same quality they started. In my eyes the first two seasons were great, the third one mediocre and the last two plain bad. All in all this leaves me with a mediocre 4 as a rating. If i knew, how bad the last two seasons were, I would have stopped watching after season 3 - in that case I would have rated the series with a 7 maybe an 8. But the last two seasons really drag the whole rating down.

walter whites beard looks so itchy that it makes me want to give my first born to a witch in the forest who happens to look like Whoopi Goldberg. edit: it definitely is her and she keeps looking at my feet. along with that walters wife is so freaking annoying it makes me want to have anal sex with my cat. other than that it's pretty decent
