Atlantic Crossing has its dry moments, but it’s lavish scenery and fine performances more than make up for that. We’re especially excited to see more of MacLachlan and Harris as Franklin and Elanor Roosevelt.

“Atlantic Crossing” proves itself a decent soap (think: a lower budget “The Crown”), albeit one that suffers from some plots holes.

So while Atlantic Crossing does provide a very different perspective on the war, it would have benefited far more from an increased focus on the actual people that Märtha and Olav were trying to save.
